8:38 goddammit Jolly, if you wanted a recent Twin, 2023 Pablo Lopez was right there for 200+
He had like 50 more Ks than Sonny in 2023
Joez was on another level for this one. "Zoe Zumaya" 😂😂😂😂😂
"Defense?!?! I need to play offense, PAP!" 🤣🤣🤣
2012 greinke is wild, you had a whole decade to choose from
Joez constantly reminds me that this is an entertainment sports channel.
Joez is a menace💀
Joez had such a great start. Thinking of royals starters is a tough ask
The last time I was this early Gerrit Cole still had a healthy elbow
Lol
Too soon 😅😅😅😅
🤣☠️
Pablo Lopez 2023 and Matt Boyd 2019 abandoned on the side of the road
As a Tigers fan, I was thinking ERA title Anibal Sanchez
@@notsauer Also had one with the Marlins back in 2011
Not mentioning 2023 Pablo Lopez was insane. Plus Guardians had good Bauer, Bieber, Carrasco and even Clevinger seasons..
BBD might be on to something with a ERA draft where you draft a pitchers ERA from a specific year and Lowest total ERA at the end of the draft wins
I think I’d enjoy it even more with them picking the highest ERA… haha
Joez with an Ozzie Albies meltdown.
As a Tigers fan, when Joez said 2011 or 2012 Zumaya I was SCREAMING
Same
You guys really need a fan of an Al central team in the office
I'd love to volunteer to be that person
For a second I thought Joez was about to be a central guy until his epic collapse.
Tigers fan from 1995-2015... sign me up.
Jolly "copping out" for a Twin and saying 2023 Gray instead of Lopez 🤣
2000 Bartolo Colon for Cleveland would have been a solid 212 K's
Why did they stop reading off at the End who was the best options possible. They did that for the Homer draft and it was really cool.
Especially since it only stays on screen for like 0.0002 seconds
The Jordan Lyles and Brady Singer mentions make me think of Foolish Baseball/Bailey videos. Chad Innings and the psychedelic caught looking Brady Singer video.
6:00 Thought Joez was picking Zo. I don't know if Blitzball stats count here.
I would love to see their reaction here if someone went with 2006 Jeremy Bonderman
I was looking at Jeremy Bonderman's stat sheet this morning. Crazy to see this comment.
Joez in a slappy mood puts me in such a great mood
Cleveland in 2018 had 4 starters with 200+ K's and the starter that didn't get 200 (Bieber) had 259 in 2019. With how baseball is trending it's hard to see another staff with 4 guys all hitting 200 in a season in the near future.
Joez is on the biggest one this episode lmfao love it.
2023 Pablo Lopez 230k’s?
I know. I was confused why no one did him.
Gotta love that Target Field in the background.
I’ve been WAITING for a NL Central vid
Nobody taking Duran 2023 or 2022 for their bullpen is practically criminal, and I’m not even a Twins fan. But that man is nuts.
Francisco Liriano, Jhoan Duran, David Price, Jeremy Bonderman, Greg Holland, Fausto Carmona, Esteban Loaiza, Bobby Jenks
My favorite Royal is a World Series Champion who led the Royals in HR in 1985, Steve Balboni.
These 3 are electric together 😅
Best series ever
It could be a fun tweak to allow a player to get drafted multiple times. Would just have to control the reactions when a year is give
I miss the Zole Zumaya era
Joez fucked that up so bad lmao
It’s Zoel*
How about Detroit Tiger Jeremy Bonderman in 2006? Bondo could throw gas. He would get himself into a bit of a jam at times during the game, but would usually escape without too much damage. The MotorCity would of had more dings and dents if it wasn’t for Bondo
Yes!
You guys have no idea how much I wanna compete against you guys for even one of these games
Joez was on fire this episode.
Rockies legend Wade Davis 🙏🏻
You could definitely do this same format and do innings pitched.
I hope we get a hits and maybe a walks draft for the hitters when this is done
You guys should do hits draft next
Irvin Santana was a royals pitcher. 161 strikeouts. Edison Volquez also a starter, 155 strikeouts. Danny Duffy had 188 in 2016.
Same game with wins and saves would be fun.
Was thinking Danny Duffy and Ian Kennedy lol
RIP Yordano Ventura
I was wondering if we were gonna get a Danny Duffy year with how many Royals were wasted here
JOEZ REDEPTION INCOMING
Sorry
Papa grande Jose Valverde felt like a miss here. One year he had like 50 saves for the tigers. I think it was 2012, don’t feel like checking lol
I think you should be allowed to take a player if he pitched in the division (i.e. Greinke) and someone picks a year said player was not in the central, provided they know which year said player was in the division.
everyone's favourite Royal should be WS champ Johnny Cueto
(he struck out 56 batters for the Royals after being traded from the Reds)
Was K-rod on the tigers?
Don't forget Lyles in 2023 also led the league in CG's
In terms of time since each AL Central team's last World Series win, the Royals are the most recent, then the White Sox, Twins, Tigers, and Guardians. The only other division where every team has won one is the NL East. Will the Mariners, Rays, or Brewers be the next team to send their division into that club?
Let's be honest: when Jolly goes: this one is brought to you by Shady Rays (or whoever) you will hear more about them later, we all hear: you can skip them later.
???????????
My favorite is Royal Tenenbaum
Greg Holland and Danny Duffy some big misses after the atrocious shields and Greinke guesses.
Joez lack of baseball knowledge while working for a baseball company never ceases to astound me
Where was the Greg Holland pull?!?!
A great twist to these videos would be if Lucas didn’t even have a computer and just memorized these stats the whole time
The disrespect to Javier Vazquez’s White Sox run
Joez is my favorite human
I am HURT they got the Greinke year wrong. Its my favorite Cy Young season of the 2000s. He won 16 games on a team that lost 97. Paved the way for King Felix to win Cy Young with only 13 wins the next season.
Royals starter Gil Meche 2008. 180+ Ks
My favorite royals are Juan Soto and Zack Greinke
No love for Royals legend Gil Meche! I was confident in him but would have totally messed up the year.
“Guess a year babyyy”
“…WHATT?!”
03 Esteban Loaiza 207 K's. Thanks, recent Jolly Olive Video
06 Jeremy Bonderman 202 Ks
I THINK he was pitching relief by then but in 2005 for the White Sox El Duque had 91 Strikeouts
They should make it so if you pick a year where the player was in another division or retired or whatever they get a zero. Not fair to only get 60 ks for picking an injury year or something and just lose the player if they didnt pitch at all.
What about Y. Ventura 2015.
I had a random Ricky Nolasco thought for a Twins SP
115 Ks best season nah
Second. Love this channel and their Trivia go yanks!
Before the video started, I assumed Joez would constantly screw up. I wasn’t disappointed. It’s almost as bad as Pennick doing trivia.
Danny Duffy, Edinson Volquez, Gil Meche…
Sometimes Joez sounds like master shake
Liriano?
I fucking love Joez
No Cueto?
SHADY RAYS
Someone better get 2018 Jesse Chavez in the NL Central edition
and 2001 Kyle Farnsworth
Apparently Joez is the mascot here.
Joez is the mole
Joez was doing so well before his rotation fell off a... Cliff
dont know how many K's he had but Jeremy Guthrie came to mind for a royals pitcher
If y'all wanna get real nasty, you'll do an RBI draft
everything was going great before “the Cliff Lee incident” 🤣
Crazy that no one named 2019 Shane Bieber
Where is the love for Shane Bieber?
Also Edinson Volquez favourite Royals starter
Greg Holland snubbed
2023 Lopez and Lange were right there
lol I was surprised that David Price wasn’t taken
He never played a full season for Detroit. Traded for him one year, traded him away the next.
Picking Lee in 07 after knowing CC won that year lol
You’ve got to stop letting Joez play these games. It’s an automatic loss the second he shows up for any of these contests 😂.
Rip "current White Sox Dylan Cease"
Kevin Appier or Zach Grinkie
GREINKE 2012!?!?!
You should change the rules so that if somebody picks a player year that wasnt in the division, other people can still pick that player. With the current rules, people can just keep picking wrong years to purposefully take good players off the board.
Shocked no Trevor Bauer 2018
Brad Keller
i think if someone guesses a year where the player wasn't in the division, then that player should still be up for grabs just not for who got it wrong
Mike Minor
Gotta be a true ball knower to have ‘09 Greinke in the chamber I guess
It's one of the best Cy Young Seasons of the decade. 16 wins on a team that lost 97 games is shades of Steve Carlton in 1972.
