m GAWD. Warm brown is super in style, plus it REALLY suits her skin tone as far as can be seen.
Her hair looks so much healthier and more manageable than when she came in. You action plan was spot on!
Thank you!
Convincing client for putting darker color on burnt, banding, bleached out roots - highlighted lengths hair is every stylist dream 🎉 always loving your works btw 😘
OMG watching this is breaking my heart for this poor girl!!!! I would be devastated if a stylist did that to my hair! 😭 Girl you are amazing!!
Ok wow, yes it did go darker but like you said, it looks SOO healthy. I’m absolutely shook. Honestly if I was the client I would be crying at how well you fixed that. Especially with the potential to be blonder again in the future!
I honestly think a brunette is often more flattering than a blonde. The warm tones just brighten up the face and makes you glow. Wish more brunettes kept their hair natural. Amazing work as always ❤
Thank you!!
All things considered, I think your action plan was spot on. The color and porosity are fairly even and completely support the actions you took to immediately improve a most difficult situation. My mantra is always “do no harm” while at the same time selecting the “best process service” we can offer most realistically to improve the situation in the chair at that point. It may not always be exactly what the client wishes to have on that day, however, I believe in underpromising and over-delivering. Her hair is intact and the result is fairly even and consistent. At this point, im sure she trusts your skill level and appreciates your honesty. Subsequent appointments (and I’m sure there will be since she trusts you) will be more relaxed and time constraints will be nonexistent, hopefully, to allow you the freedom to perform the more complicated work she requires. I believe you have gained a new client for life! Rock on with that color, girl! I, myself, love a good challenge and I can tell that you do, too!
Well said! Thank you for that! I completely agree
Omg this is what my hair looked like after a stylist messed it up and then tried to fix it (2 rounds of bleach in two days) and made it worse. I went to another stylist who fixed it for me with a full head of foils (6 weeks later) but my hair was so damaged that I had to cut most of it off 😢 I had virgin hair too that I’d shaved off 3 years ago and grown out. I have a cute little blonde bob now though!
This color is gorgeous and it seems to compliment her skin tone so well !
I think so too!
Your amazing, the hair is beautiful. My heart breaks for her as a blonde myself cause going darker is literally like death, but it turned out lovely ❤
hahaha. When low lights were a "thing" in Y2K, my blonde hair turned to mud. Mama WEPT
Loved that you darkened it. Absolutely love the result. Looks so beautiful and natural and flattering.
although she didn't get her blonde, I hope she knows the miracle she was blessed with!!! Soon the blonde will come around again, and it can be cool to see yourself with different looks sometimes, get to know some side of yours.
I feel like clients like this...they've not gone to a hairdresser. They've done all this themselves and don't want to say! Which is fair enough. So many hairdressers shame a client. You do such a good job, from how you treat a client to your actual work
Wait till you hear all the compliments she got when you see her at the next appointment! 💚
That looks really cool.
That was an amazing result! I suddenly feel guilty for having been unhappy a couple of years ago, when I first ended up with the result your client ended up with. There was a horizontal patch of orange but not in the top layer and 4 weeks later, my then-stylist was able to color and partially tone my hair to the darkest golden brown section I pointed out in my hair that l liked, overall. I've since maintained a short bob and gotten back to naturally APPEARING level 1 by requesting double pigment black. 1st time the next stylist mixed the black with blue, I came back 2 months later and said I could see brassiness in good lighting, so she added green pigment to the black dye. It's faded a lot and much has been cut off, but it looks brown-black in bright light and black the rest of the time - which I'm happy with.
The color looks really nice! But you said over and over that’s not what the client wanted.. so I would have done a over all toner to cut out the brassyness. Next root shadow and see what the client thought of that. Maybe a reverse balayage. I would have kept her light for her birthday and then you could have had her come back to darken it with more low lights.
The plan was to do exactly that, but the toner that I applied all over (the level 8.5-9 deepened more than expected down to a level 7 because of the porosity of the hair) it will brighten over time but the plan was to keep her blonde with a deeper shadow root.
I've just gone on a video watching binge of your videos and my fav thing is you really protect your clients hair and integrity. I'm learning this and the k18 you use. I honestly didn't know this was a thing and I wish more salons used some these methods as its been important too not damage more and you deffo have this in mind with your clients which is amazing ! I feel for this poor girl with whats happened in the previous salon I've had this happen to me. I havnt been back to a salon in 10 months due to being scared to trust some one again. The results were really good and looks really nice and suited her skin tone.
Thank you so much! I appreciate your candor and kind words. It's a more difficult job than people give credit for so thank you for acknowledging that!
Luv that you emphasized no shaming !!!
It’s beautiful! So interesting about doing a smoothing treatment so the color takes better.
That moment when her final look is just like my natural hair 🥰 so pretty!!
Absolutly gorgeous ! So much better And her hair looks stunning ❤ love youre work
Well done! Love the colour. ❤️
It’s super gorgeous! Great job!! ❤❤❤❤❤
Great job! I would have done the same thing. I MIGHT have put just a few highs around her face but it looks much better !!
Literally a mission! You slayed ❤
This is a beautiful result and will hopefully make her hair wearable whilst it grows out allowing healthier hair to grow-in that can eventually be processed again to get her back to where she wants to be. Patience is key from here in, as well as healthy diet, sleep, exercise to create the prime conditions for the healthiest of re-growth.
This is gorgeous!
Perfect 💖💖💖💖 nice to see a brown 🤎 tone😀
Great job! I don’t know. I would have run away!
Super gorgeous and I loved that you didn’t butcher the stylist that did an Oopsy ❤
great job! I would have done similar.
❤absolutely gorgeous I love this colour .. You are very talented at everything hoping I will be the same one day ..Amazing tutorial well done ❤
Wow!!! Stunning end result, I will have had an instant panic attack if she was sat in front of me,nice work 🙌🏻
So good to see a notification from your channel 😊❤
Thank you 😭♥️😭♥️
Ah_mazing ❣️❣️❣️
Bravo👏👏👏👏great job girl!!! You are a magician and the education was on point. I've never used Cezanne. Now I want to! ❤❤❤❤your thought process was great, the toner was beautiful.
How soon will she need to come back and will you do a follow up so when see the next process to lighten her up?? Please
I looked up Cezzane thanks to this video. I'm definitely trying it now!!!
Thank you for your school
Oh from that before, this was a perfect tone for her to wear for a while. Interesting to hear what a keratin treatment can do😍🙌🏻. But all i hear is the name Susanne 😂😂
I actually would've done exactly the color all of the way through out It!😁
Can you try to have more videos of bleaching natural levels 2-3 ?
Can someone tell me if you do the Brazilian blowout treatment would that also work??
Hello dear my client same as cezzane but i want your opinion as expert she didn't want dark brown as i offered to her and she want platinum blonde 😮 anyway i did color correction adding olaplex and after the application process correction color she reached the platinum blonde hair healthy and ofcourse i add caviar ampules after with keatin serum she was so happy but i am telling you during this correction color my heart was down 😅 what do you think plz i need your opinion
I wanna learn how to do hair hopefully this year but I’m scared that the thick hair would make me too nervous to continue
Hey!! About the keratin smoother, should I do it before a root bleach touch up or after???
Bleach roots, clarify, Cezzane (the only one I have ever used so I can’t recommend any other once), then tone once the smoothing is complete. It’s a looooooong day but it’s good
@@BobbyHairStudio amazing!! Thank you!!
Love that
does not the keratin treatment washes away when a color is applied over it ? does the color not remove the keratin treatment you did?
That was my question as well. But I only use Brazilian blowout so maybe this cezzane product is different.
❤wowww
🎉🎉🎉
She needs a good cut 3-4 inches at least, you did a great job as usual.
Would a demi be too damaging on her hair?
Not necessarily, it’s more so that we want to see her hair fade as she’s used to being blonde. This is more to fill her hair and take it appointment by appointment
Thanks for replying!
this is me right now :( i went to different stylists and they screwed me over. idk what to do besides box dying
First one here 😊
Wait a Keratin treatment and hair dye the same day!!! Whoa wow that’s not good.
Hope she takes it easy…maybe let hair dry naturally and use flocked heat rollers when she forced to style it, rather than a iron that comes in direct contact with hair.
Keep up with haircuts..ad some long layers to get rid of some of the damage.
You’l have her in good shape if she sticks with you.
I wish I could see how this faded and what it looks like now
She really needed a good 4 inches of damage cut.
Wow that hair dresser did her dirty.
Hi
Girl those ends need to go 😭
Omg... Ewwww😢
That is so 😖 😱
Scary..
Strand tests, and continuing education for life!
Cause ive been doing hair for forty years ( yesterday was the 40 yr anniversary october 3rd )
And i am super awesome at color , bleach hilites etc..
So they think 🤔
I have all these great clients sending me these orange band hot roots from hell , blotchy yuck and damaged money pieces.. i have a reputation to uphold !😂 ( according to Google )
I go slowwwwwww....and if there is a possiblity of many different processes , i let the client lnow in advance
..plus , i watch tutorials and am learning everyday
..here in Miami, we have alot of level 2 and 3s wanting platinum... and i will sit in the back and literally will take 15 20 mins learning different approaches , these videos are very helpful.
And so many stylists just jump in and they dont know what the hell theyre doing.
And im not working in a beauty school , so im not going to help unless someone asks..
Strand tests, consultation, and education before jumping into a big bowl of color/ bleach.
Toss the ego!
Her hair is wrecked. The colour has improved it somewhat but can still see all the weird variations.
Yeah this will take a few sessions to really improve but with each one the imperfections will be less noticeable
But she didnt want to be darker, is it because she's probably latino and you think the blonde hair doesn't suit her?
Young women need to get over their fetish for bleach blonde hair. I was that way once, too. Most women can't pull it off, especially if they have a beige (or darker) skin tone. The brown is much better and it's definitely a shade I would wear, even though my own hair used to be medium ash brown (now faded mousy light brown and white mixed). When the last of my hair dye (3 inches) grows out in a few months, I will get it cut out and re-dye it in a different brand and shade (hopefully, a shade similar to this). Unfortunately, I have no time or money for fancy salon visits.
Yeah and she probably paid the stylist that messed up her hair $90.00 an hour yep let’s all of us jump on that train!!! 😂😂. Hell we the clients have money to throw away!!! NOT
