You guys are adorable. I love the description of "tomato and something something stick" from Satoshi san LOL and Shinichi san's eyes sparkle when see food :)
Love out to both of you, guys, and thanks for the exhaustive explanation of street foods wherever you go. I’m making treasure of your recommendations because Japan is a must travel destination.
Hi, my handsome boys! ☺️ EPIC is right! Every single thing that you both had, looked absolutely delicious! The namafu did look delicious with the sweet miso sauce. The beef sushi...yum! My okasama loved kuromitsu, so the sesame tofu with kinako-I would love. Awwww! Okara cookies for Justin! You’re such good daddies! I want to try making okara for our Oshogatsu menu. We will see..... Nishiki Market is definitely going onto my bucket list. The dashimaki with dashi tsuyu looked amazing! Thank you for sharing boys! ❤️
I plan to book a food tour of Nishiki Market for my next visit (Nov 2020). I shopped there a lot on previous visits (Airbnb so I cook most meals) but thanks to you both, I now realise how little I really know of what the market has to offer! 👍🏽 Have you thought of doing your own Tabieats food tours in Tokyo? I would love to explore the old Tsukiji market with you both! I am sure you would have lots of people willing to join too (and you can video the experience for those who can't actually be with you.) Please 🙏 think about it.
Both of ya are amazing ^^ I love watching your videos but stop making my mouth watering ^^ Japan is amazing especially there food ^^ Can't wait until I can go to Japan ^^🌸
I love how uniform the food is presented in Japan. I would not be surprised if the saying, "Good enough is never good enough." originated in Japan. All the foods you showed were prepared with care. That is not something you tend to find with regularity in the United States these days. Being a kind of egg FANATIC, I would love to try the Tamagoyaki sandwich. Thanks for the video and have a Happy New Year!
All looked so interesting and delicious. As a shrimp lover,I would say,my favourite are these. But,the beef sushi sounds seductive, too! I'm inspired to recreate it at home. The two of you always bring new ideas to me,thank you 🥰
I just discovered you guys a day or two ago and I have been watching video after video!! I really enjoy your chemistry and how you speak about the foods. I subscribed after the 1st video! I am Looking forward to many more
Welcome to the TabiEats family Jackie! Please join the boys for their weekly live-streams. Not sure where you’re located. I’m in California, so it’s at 8:00 PM (Saturday night)’s, for me. We would love to welcome you on the live chat! ♥️
Great tour guys! I'm booked to come to Kyoto in January 2021 so hoping that we can all travel again by then (I'm in Australia) all the food looked amazing but I'd love to try the egg sandwich and the cinnamon rice flour thingy... Actually I'd love to try every single thing you reviewed... Please let this pandemic be behind us soon....... :)
As it happens, I will be going to Osaka on holiday this year, in October, and I will definitely be jaunting over to Kyoto for at least one or two days if I can help it while I'm there. This will be a place I will hit up, and by then I will have acquired a bit more Japanese so that I won't be quite as helpless as I was in Tokyo last year! Good video, fellows!
I agree with you Shinichi my also favorite was the egg omelette and the cinnamon candy and i would add the porcuipine bread it looked so cute and yummylious
ALL delicious! Mugwort is a very unique flavour and I luv it. I really need to treat myself to a Matsu set of Omi Beef !! Very cute porcupine donut : ) so glad you do not have to remove the quills first! Happy Holidays to my fave UA-cam foodie couple.
Hope u guys had a wonderful Christmas and enjoyed your presents. Can’t wait to spend New Year’s Eve with u soon! Btw, satochi love for beer has ignited a new love for beer in me, usually, I hate it, but he has encouraged me to try it again, lots of love to u guys!
Omg guys, haven’t been in Kyoto in a while and watching this brings back memories and now I have cravings. So much great food at Nishiki 😋 I’m counting days until I go to Kyoto again.
Very interesting!!!! every time you go through the crowd of people I always look over your shoulder to see if I can recognize people from Hawaii. Shinichi do you bump into Hawaii people. Something about their features, they are notice from Hawaii. Good food.
I have started making my own tofu (great fun - learned how from EmmymadeinJapan) and never knew it could be eaten as anything but savoury so thanks for the education 👍🏽 I am going to try it with silan (pure date syrup) instead of kuromitsu, and as I can't get kinako (soybean powder) either, maybe I could toast some ground almonds instead - or toasted sesame seeds. I'll let you know how I get on.
I love Satoshi's enthusiasm when he talks about beer. Love your channel hope you have a happy and healthy new year. 😁
I just love watching the both of you ❤️
The joy in Satoshi’s face when he gets to have a beer 😊
