Will is always coming through for the community. And Tip #2 is golden; you'd be surprised how much mileage you can get out of just a few sounds if you keep mixing them up.
What's the difference between drummers and producers? Drummers use one kick for an audience of thousands, producers use thousands of kicks for an audience of one.
I really enjoy your videos but I hope in the future you reconsider doing more Distrokid sponsorships, especially after what happened with firing their unionized workers. :(
The problem I feel like I'm having is people tell me when they listen to My beats they can't tell the hook from the verse because it just has so much energy the whole time so I'm not sure if it's an arrangement thing or automation like filter EQ. Oh yeah my name is Frank tha tank and I make hip hop music/trap.
Happy to help! At first guess, I would assume your hook/verse problem is one of dynamic similarity. We want to give it a mood shift so stripping back the drums, or removing some elements in the bridge to give the listener some space would create more of an audible change. Of course switching up the rhythm or having a melodic change can help too!
May be your most helpful video
I'm so pleased, happy to be of service bud!
