It’s very much needed indeed I’m a Tamilian living in Bangalore and no one speaks our language Kannada here. Even cab auto drivers are North Indians now a days, in IT people from north are ruling Karnataka and talks in Hindi. When ever I come to TN I don’t see anyone speaking Hindi, Kannada, Telugu.

Hey Madan bro, The main problem for people in Karnataka is not about gaining or losing employment. As a kannadiga the issue we face here is not really understandable by other state people. I will try to explain it by giving an example. I ordered food from swiggy, the delivery guy came with a wrong order and he speaks in Hindi which I am not able to understand, he doesn’t understand Kannada. I couldn’t talk to him and took the wrong order and raised a complaint in swiggy. The call centre guy called and he speaking in Hindi, I asked for a language change he could not do that, somehow managed with his half known English and Hindi, but still the problem wasn’t resolved. He said to contact the restaurant as it was their fault. I contacted the restaurant, the guy who attended the call again started to speak in Hindi. I again struggled at last I couldn’t do anything on this problem and lose my money was the only option. See this how we suffer in our own place to survive, the domination on the language is really a difficult thing to manage. How can a person who is not educated and knows to speak only his mother tongue Kannada can survive this situation?
Unfortunately, you didn't know what is happening around the world and India. This is a common issue in most southern states. But this law will be a big flop and will destroy Bangalore/Karnataka. Enjoy.
This happens in Gujarat as well where many South Indian don't know Gujarati as well as Hindi but locals people speak in Gujarati understand Hindi so should we make law against all South Indian as they don't learn local language of other states.

The real fact is, nowadays in IT sector also soo many internal recommendations are going on for hiring employees. It is known fact that 80℅ managers are not from south. In Indian Railways also we can see no notifications from South. But if we see small railway stations around the south, 90℅ staff are from north. Some what KA Govt. took good decision but some corrections to be made. Initially it is hard to digest. Due to more non locals 1.School fees are high 2.House and land rates are high. Despite of all this, at my office if we speak in our mother tongue they look down on us and say us to have conversation in english but they speak hindi in a forum. It is just an effort try to learn few basics when you are in different states or region.. I personally experienced with my work at my work place.

That's why we find Bengalis ahead in most service based industries. Reservation will help in alienating one language Indian speaker against the other and affect national unity. However, all beautiful languages like Sanskrit, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Malayalam, Punjabi, Tamil, Telegu, etc should be encouraged. Remember, career and corporate goals demand skills and not reservation based on language or any such criteria. So, in stead of big percentage of locals in jobs, start by having a small percentage and keep increasing that percentage gradually up to 50 percent over a period of 50 years to cover 2 generations. By that time, we will find that all stares would have equal growth scenarios and all will prosper together as a nation. Implement this idea, you greedy opportunistic politicians. Live and let live and let the nation prosper, taking everyone along. Or else, history will repeat itself and this nation will go to the dogs once again. The choice is yours and ours. im a 19 yr old tamil who was born and brought up in banglore my dad is a tamil who was born and bought up in blr and my mom is from trichy , the school i studied in was a mallu christian school just because the principal and the school boards heads were malayalis 90% of the teaching faculty were malayalis and now im a christ university student and 70% of my class is filled with north indian and the rest are malayalis and most of the faculty are yes malayalis and tamils very few kannada working faculties and even students i can see kannadigas , no not kannadigas i can see bangloreans being overwhelmed by people leaving their own state and colonising blr , end of the day this wont affect banglore in any negative way even if people from tamil nadu kerela and andra and the whole of north india leave banglore and karnataka we have lots of skilled people here to cover the spot and keep going without a minor dent to our progress , sorry for the poor grammar typed this in a hurry

I am from Karnataka my age is 30 years i lived in Karnataka from 30 years. we kannadigas not saying Tamilian or north indian dont come Karnataka for jobs. We are saying these companies and hr managers only hire their state people. For example: if a HR recruiter is from Bihar or Malayalee he only recruit bihari or Malayalee. Who said that ? if you go to Coimbatore most are malayalis, in Housr and Chennai most are telugu people. And most of the other districts we have UP, Bihar, Jarkand people working even in remote villages.
The few skilled people are filled with enough jobs in Bangalore itself. Alternatively karnataka doesn't have more skilled employees who works out of Karnataka. I worked in many part of India and i hardly see any kannadigas.

It doesn't work like that, MNCs need high skilled people no matter where they are from. Usually, they transfer a person working from some to another city depending upon the work, project and those things. MNCs now will think twice to enter karnataka. Bengaluru will be affected a lot.

If you see from hosur it is just 15km-20km to Banglore.Hosur is one of the best place to live both in financially and professionally always chill and polite environment. And also, there are many area is free in hosur. We can develop more in hosur. Many companies like tvs, Ola, ather, SCS, Stellantis and so on companies are there in hosur.

I am a Tamil living in Bangalore now. I fully support this law. Kannadigas are such sweet ppl and very respectful. Its high time they get some space in their own place. Ever since I got to Bangalore, I have always felt pity on how Kannadigas are living like minorities in their own city. There will def be some economical issues and much more but as long as they are ready to face it all of us outsiders should respect their decision. I personally fear that Chennai and Kovai may be stuffed with the lots coming out of Bangalore because trust me when I say this some of those outsiders in Bangalore just dont respect the natives' language or culture and have zero care for that once beautiful city. Even the weather is affected due to over population. This summer had a good amount of spike in AC purchase. Unless and until you are in a situation of seeing your own city degraded in terms of weather, safety and respect for native culture, you will not understand why they are in a situation to such measures. But I do personally feel like they should do something to include the tulu and other ethnicities who are also native to that land.

State and central government jobs ku mattum idha apply pannaa podhum...on my recent travel from salem to trichy i could see north indian people on each and every railway station as station incharges... Similarly in Bhel and southern railway almost 80% employees were not tamil people...Even if we go to apollo chennai , it is very hard to find tamil employees there...i was very much shocked whether am i really in tamil nadu or some other north state....Further on my recent trip bangalore madiwala even hotel service people were north indians ...

But from north india people come with relocation and high salaried package. Even if I am ready to work for lesser package people from Andhra, Kerala and TN take the job. You are right. Tulu is a local language and it's in Karnataka & it belongs to Karnataka so nothing changes. Same with Kodagu/Madikeri region as they also speak local language called kodavatak. Karnataka's native konkani people also considered as kannadigas but not those Goa konkani people. If they are from different state then it applies.

Hey Madan bro, The main problem for people in Karnataka is not about gaining or losing employment. As a kannadiga the issue we face here is not really understandable by other state people. I will try to explain it by giving an example. I ordered food from swiggy, the delivery guy came with a wrong order and he speaks in Hindi which I am not able to understand, he doesn’t understand Kannada. I couldn’t talk to him and took the wrong order and raised a complaint in swiggy. The call centre guy called and he speaking in Hindi, I asked for a language change he could not do that, somehow managed with his half known English and Hindi, but still the problem wasn’t resolved. He said to contact the restaurant as it was their fault. I contacted the restaurant, the guy who attended the call again started to speak in Hindi. I again struggled at last I couldn’t do anything on this problem and lose my money was the only option. See this how we suffer in our own place to survive, the domination on the language is really a difficult thing to manage. How can a person who is not educated and knows to speak only his mother tongue Kannada can survive this situation?

That's why we find Bengalis ahead in most service based industries. Reservation will help in alienating one language Indian speaker against the other and affect national unity. However, all beautiful languages like Sanskrit, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Malayalam, Punjabi, Tamil, Telegu, etc should be encouraged. Remember, career and corporate goals demand skills and not reservation based on language or any such criteria. So, in stead of big percentage of locals in jobs, start by having a small percentage and keep increasing that percentage gradually up to 50 percent over a period of 50 years to cover 2 generations. By that time, we will find that all stares would have equal growth scenarios and all will prosper together as a nation. Implement this idea, you greedy opportunistic politicians. Live and let live and let the nation prosper, taking everyone along. Or else, history will repeat itself and this nation will go to the dogs once again. The choice is yours and ours. Don't procastinate. Decide and implement rules in a sustainable and just manner.

im a 19 yr old tamil who was born and brought up in banglore my dad is a tamil who was born and bought up in blr and my mom is from trichy , the school i studied in was a mallu christian school just because the principal and the school boards heads were malayalis 90% of the teaching faculty were malayalis and now im a christ university student and 70% of my class is filled with north indian and the rest are malayalis and most of the faculty are yes malayalis and tamils very few kannada working faculties and even students i can see kannadigas , no not kannadigas i can see bangloreans being overwhelmed by people leaving their own state and colonising blr , end of the day this wont affect banglore in any negative way even if people from tamil nadu kerela and andra and the whole of north india leave banglore and karnataka we have lots of skilled people here to cover the spot and keep going without a minor dent to our progress , sorry for the poor grammar typed this in a hurry

If you see from hosur it is just 15km-20km to Banglore.Hosur is one of the best place to live both in financially and professionally always chill and polite environment. And also, there are many area is free in hosur. We can develop more in hosur. Many companies like tvs, Ola, ather, SCS, Stellantis and so on companies are there in hosur.
All MNC companies having their own policy of Equal opportunity, irrespective of place , color, gender etc , this rule will create conflict with their global policies

I am a Tamil living in Bangalore now. I fully support this law. Kannadigas are such sweet ppl and very respectful. Its high time they get some space in their own place. Ever since I got to Bangalore, I have always felt pity on how Kannadigas are living like minorities in their own city. There will def be some economical issues and much more but as long as they are ready to face it all of us outsiders should respect their decision. I personally fear that Chennai and Kovai may be stuffed with the lots coming out of Bangalore because trust me when I say this some of those outsiders in Bangalore just dont respect the natives' language or culture and have zero care for that once beautiful city. Even the weather is affected due to over population. This summer had a good amount of spike in AC purchase. Unless and until you are in a situation of seeing your own city degraded in terms of weather, safety and respect for native culture, you will not understand why they are in a situation to such measures. But I do personally feel like they should do something to include the tulu and other ethnicities who are also native to that land.

I've never lived in Karnataka. I am a Tamilian born in Tamil Nadu. I could be wrong but I say that let the Karnataka people own their land, choose & provide their land, freedom & opportunities for people that have been born, birthed, nurtured, fed, taught .etc by the many ancestors that fought for years to keep the future of their culture and state for eternity. I hope a rule like this comes to Tamil Nadu too. 💪

Similarly in Bhel and southern railway almost 80% employees were not tamil people...Even if we go to apollo chennai , it is very hard to find tamil employees there...i was very much shocked whether am i really in tamil nadu or some other north state....Further on my recent trip bangalore madiwala even hotel service people were north indians ...

You are right. Tulu is a local language and it's in Karnataka & it belongs to Karnataka so nothing changes. Same with Kodagu/Madikeri region as they also speak local language called kodavatak. Karnataka's native konkani people also considered as kannadigas but not those Goa konkani people. If they are from different state then it applies.

Plz ask ur respective government to set up and give opportunities to their own PPL instead of getting dumped in our place... Our education fees are expensive... I personally feel in management if ur mother tongue is Hindi, Tamil or Telugu ur easily placed as the mgt is full of these PPL..
