Some of my first musical memories were the records of the late '60s that my Dad played for me as a kid. Today, on what would have been his 71st birthday, I'm releasing an album of my own versions of many of his favorite songs -- both as solo piano and as collaborations with many of the talented performers from Postmodern Jukebox.
Here's the first new track, "Never My Love," by The Association, featuring Sunny Holiday on vocals. We played and sang this song with Dad during the toughest of times, and it always brought us comfort.

I read your tribute to your Dad on Medium which was wonderful. I admit I'm envious because I wished I'd had those type of memories about my dad. But that was not the way with him. He was more like the Cheeto than Richard, Jr. only not wealthy in any manner. I lived in Evergreen for several years in the early 80s. Many fond memories though the winters were too long. Though your loss isn't lessened by these platitudes about your dad it is, in fact, probably harder for the love you shared. You had what many others would have liked to have had, and in his youth, what your dad wished that he had had. Good man, Scott - a man for you to walk in his footsteps. Be blessed.

Proof here … it only takes two to create "The Perfect Day". A mind boggling performance on so many layers. "Never my Love"… will there ever be a time when I grow tired of you. Merry Christmas to Scotty, Sunny, Sara, … and the entire PMJ family (incl musicians, vocal artists, dance artists, crew and fans worldwide).

I really like your set on this one. A regular piano seat. Also, I bought your book and read it almost without putting it down. Is it possible for you to record some of the Salvation Army hymns that paved the way for all the rest of the things you have done?
