HARDCORE NUZLOCKE RULES:
1. If a Pokémon faints, it is considered "dead" and must be boxed.
2. Can only catch the first Pokémon in each area.
3. Nickname every Pokémon to create emotional tension.
4. Species Clause: Only one of each evolutionary line.
5. Set battle mode.
6. No items in battle, minus held items.
7. No overleveling above the ace of the Gym Leader or final Elite Four member.

Scrap that, I just remembered Slither Wing. First time I've ever called it my favourite Fighting type hence why my brain went to Heracross but it absolutely is, it's precious.
Hisuian Lilligant is also extremely cool.

Falinks for the win, too underrated, I love the cute, multi ‘mon, good stat, reliable pokèmon. The unique idea of having six pokèmon in one. I think it’s just cute.

There are too many
Fighting types I really like. This gen alone introduced Iron Valiant, Flamigo, and Anniliape. Then you have classics like Machamp and Poliwrath.
If you put a gun to my head I would probably say Machamp, but I LOVE Paldean Tauros. A proper Fighting type bull that can be Fire or Water type as well? Heck yeah.

Breloom recently became my favorite fighting type, after using it in a challenge run I decided to try. Turns out having leech seed in the early game really makes Status move only runs really easy

I literally just started a fighting nuzlocke in scarlet. When I do typed nuzlocke I generally allow using pre-evolutions as long as they evolve into the required type at some point. Apart from that the only big rule difference I'm doing is that I'm only allowing one encounter per gym.

I feel like getting scarlet would make the run so much more easier cuz of Koraidons fighting type, that way the run moves on without cheating by using Miraidons electric type

That's fair! But also that final fight you're guaranteed to win so I tend to see people consider the first fight against Sada / Turo to be the final battle of a Nuzlocke.
