HARDCORE NUZLOCKE RULES:
1. If a Pokémon faints, it is considered "dead" and must be boxed.
2. Can only catch the first Pokémon in each area.
3. Nickname every Pokémon to create emotional tension.
4. Species Clause: Only one of each evolutionary line.
5. Set battle mode.
6. No items in battle, minus held items.
7. No overleveling above the ace of the Gym Leader or final Elite Four member.

Fun fact: Sawsbuck can also easily sweep Cynthia's team in Undella Town because her lead Spiritomb has no way of damaging normal types outside of Sucker Punch so you can set up with swords dance since this tm is available in the post game

It’s possible. I did it a few years ago. You just need a lot of luck for certain fights early game.

And I was doing this on white 2 but yeah I didn’t want to go past the level caps but there were some instances where I went a few levels higher then what I was required to have. I feel like I could’ve don’t it but it took to many soft resets

You have my subscription. Great vid, Hoping your upload schedule will be more often in the future but I completely understand it's difficult to find time without the element of financial aid that UA-camrs with larger viewcounts have.

I’ve done this run myself and I know your pain with the early game. Always fun to see how different the strategies people can come up with for the same run. Also just funny we both went with flowers for the naming theme. Who knows maybe someday in the next 5 years I’ll make my own video out of that run lol.
My favorite Grass-type is also my favorite pokemon, Jumpluff. He was the king of my first run of XD Gale of Darkness, and I've loved the little dude ever since.

Found this video because I thought I was crazy or just an awful player for trying and failing attempt after attempt of a Black Mono Grass Nuzlocke.
Nah, its actually just that miserable for 2 gyms and multiple rival fights. I feel vindicated
So you FINALLY managed to complete this particular Nuzlocke! I remember when years ago you were trying to stream your attempts at this one but kept losing after either gyms 2 or 3, especially when you kept getting Cottenee in Pinwheel Forest instead of either Sewaddle or Pansage. LOL! I'm glad you were able to do it after all these years! As for my favorite Grass type Pokemon? Hmm... I've never really thought about it tbh, but I think I'll have to go with Meganium, but if we are allowed to have a favorite past Gen 5, then I'll go with Meowscarada! As always, I am looking forward to your next stream/video!
Hmmm, I gotta say my favorite grass type has to be a threeway tie between Liligant, Whimsicott, or Cherrim. Cause Liligant has a gorgeous design, along with Chlorophyll + petal blizzard shenanigans. Whimsicott cause I have learned to love its use as a prankster tailwind set up. And Cherrim because cherrim is the cutest thing known to man and deserves all my love, attention, and money.

My favorite grass type is Leafeon
Doesn't acrobatics deal more damage WITHOUT the flying gem? The flying gem only gives a 50% boost whereas acrobatics without an item has double its base power(so from 55 to 110) whereas the flying gem would take it to 1.5 of the base power(so from 55 to 82.5)
I thought this too but what actually happens is the flying gem is ‘consumed’ (mmmm tasty gem) so the power goes from 55 to 82.5 but then because the item isn’t held anymore the power is then doubled to 165. So acrobatics flying gem is BUSTED

Great video man! Can I ask you where did you find the HD pkmn animated sprites that you used in yojr editing? I was searching for them!
I upscaled them myself in Photoshop! There’s a setting for upscaling, “nearest neighbor” is what it’s called if I recall, making the pixels of images scale up properly for pixel art. There’s also a way to save gifs on Photoshop that I would highly recommend looking up from a tutorial if you’re interested in the higher quality sprites, because otherwise, I initially got the sprites off Bulbapedia and converted them from animated PNGs to gif using an online converter.

How do you know that the enemy liepard had a lax nature? Do you have some type of document for pkmn black and white? Can you share it pls?
I did use a document! It was available in another Nuzlocker’s Discord: FlygonHG. I currently can’t link it at the moment but I would recommend checking out the resources channel in his Discord, since you can find more Trainer data than just Black and White.
