I always wanted a Tele style guitar with a Bigsby. I’m sure that some minor’s modifications like a pickup swap, electronics upgrades, and tuner replacements, it could be worthwhile.
Thanks for watching.. I think I gave a pretty good description of the guitar. All the Firefly guitars come with stainless steel ball end frets, good pickups, and electronics. Upgrading a Firefly guitar would be a waste of money IMO..
Can you provide us with some details details on specs and how the guitar feels, how the tuning pegs work, the weight, the quality of the frets, etc. You know, the kinds of things that guitarists want to know before investing time and money?
I’ve had the red one for a few months and is one of my favorites of my 4 Fireflys. I ran the strings over the roller instead of under and it tunes a lot better. I also replaced the spring in the vibrato with a squishier spring.
Hi Roger, Thanks for watching! It really is a sweet guitar. I just put mine up for sale since I bought it for the review. Too many guitars. If that's possible LOL. Take Care Don
nicely done! I have never seen that one, Id get one for sure. I got a black 338 last summer. As a builder of fine wood work I find the build quality shockingly good for the price! the materials would cost me more than that.
Hey Dale, Thanks for watching. I totally agree. I have built a few parts guitars in the past, and it gets quite expensive if you are using quality parts.
Hey thanks for watching. I agree, it's a good candidate for Flat wounds. I have a couple full hollow Jazz guitars that have flats and I really enjoy playing them. I've been burried in Jazz lessons lately and those are the guitars I've been playing. Take care, Don
I was trying to find this guitar in my local guitar stores in evansville ind but none of them had this guitar, where could I go to hear and play the fire fly guitar?.BTW I enjoyed the video .
Hello Scott. Thanks for checking out the review. The Firefly guitars are only available from their website guitarsgarden.com Unfortunately they sell out of certain models quickly. I check the website daily to see whats available. I only buy from their website since there's another company making knock off Firefly guitars, and they are terrible. Take Care, Don

Great review Don! I so enjoy your style of playing...
Hey Raymond! Thanks so much. I subscribed to your channel and will be checking out some of your videos.
Nice. I think I'd try some old-school flat wound strings on it.
