Hi. To drain the coolant system, you don't need to pull off the hose. The coolant-drainplug is the lower left bolt which holds the waterpump-cover in place. There are 4 bolts that secure the cover and the lower left bolt doubles as the drainplug. It is the only bolt there with a copper washer.
Thanks for the video. I have a rd03 and i have to do the valves adjustment. Do you know the spc? Intake valves: 0.13 to 0.17mm Exhaust valves: 0.18 to 0.22mm i only find this info but it is rd07 spec i dont know if it is the same. Regards keep the good work
I can see there is some oil at the bottom of the engine - near the water pump (even a drop hanging off the water pump). Did you figure out where it is coming from? My RD03 has the exact same and I can't figure out where it's coming from.
@@latzkoworks I have wiped around the drain plug, it stays dry. I have changed the valve cover gasket, seems ok. Checked the shaft seal (the shaft that drives the front sprocket) and that stays dry. As far as I know there are no oil pipes on the rd03, not like the 750s where there is an oil cooler. So I don't know what else to check now..
@@alexandersotirov7607 it could be even the two allen bolt sealing ring on the left crankase cover, or the left crankase cover gasket, or the neutral position sensor screw near the front sprocket. I hope you'll find the reason.
What a beautiful bike! She's gorgeous.

Thank you very much!
Hello. Nice work there! I also wonder how you keep the gold wheels and spokes so clean looking??
Hello, the wheels were re-painted. I simply use brake cleaner spray for cleaning. Thanks for watching!
What a bike that is ❤️
Great video, thank you!

Which product(s) do you use for the ultrasonic cleaning?
Hello, I use 50% distilled water + 50% water based cleaner fluid.
Hello. What repair kit did you use for those petcocks? The exact make and part-number(s) would be useful thanks.
Hello, you can see it from 14:00, type was 4ride 60-1023, bought at the local shop.

Hello, in my case it was easy, the metal sealing ring under the oil drain plug was wrong. If it is okay you should check all the rubber O rings.
