"SANMATI" (a dance-play) by Shovana Narayan and Prof Dr Ramchandra Gandhi

The dance play 'SANMATI' meaning 'goodwill', is extremely relevant in today's time and in all times for the sheer potency of the message embedded in it. 'Sanmati' was at the heart of Gandhi's life and struggle. Based on excerpts from his biography, the spirit of Gandhi's martyrdom is sought to be situated historically and explored fictionally. The dance play choreographed by Shovana Narayan, was conceptualised, scripted, narrated and directed by the eminent philosopher, late Dr Ramchandra Gandhi, grandson of Mahatma Gandhi.
