Some honorable mentions!
- Pocket Landship: Sadly, I no longer have my copy, and it's out of print! But it's a great lightweight game in a small box. There is a free print and play version you can download: boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/224303/pocket-landship-free-trial-version/files
- D-Day Dice: I didn't have my copy at hand for the vid, but it's a great WWII themed dice chucker, pretty tense, and easy to learn! Tons of expansions boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/233208/d-day-dice-second-edition
- Cascadia: I haven't had a chance to play my copy yet but from what I hear it's very easy to learn and it offers a great puzzle! Gorgeous artwork and pretty soothing game boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/295947/cascadia
Happy gaming!
A couple of good fairly easy solo trick taking games are Eck and For Northwood. Also Floriferous, Sunset Over Water, and Lost Expedition are good.
@@ShuffleUpandDeal32 I keep seeing people playing for Northwood! I'll look into it more. Thank you for sharing!
I also suggest Unbroken, The Lost Expedition, Under Falling Skies, Warp's Edge, Deep Space D6, and Black Sonata
Great suggestions! I still need to play my copy of Black Sonata. Thanks for watching!
Elder Sign is the best solo game in my experience.
Great list! I am definitely not a beginner, but I find these types of simple games are what actually gets played solo. Thanks for the video :)
Thank you for watching! Glad you liked it!
Very much enjoyed seeing and learning about the games on your list! You obviously really know your board games, and I have been feeling more and more the desire to try solo games. So thank you!
😊 Thank you for watching! Happy gaming!
Great overview video! Loved the descriptions and showing of the games while you talk. I'm just getting into solo gaming and can't wait to try a couple of these that interest me! Thank you!
Thanks for watching! Solo boardgaming is an awesome hobby, hope you enjoy it!
THANK YOU ‼️😎👍🏻
WAITING FOR MORE .
I've been soloing alot of games that have solo challenges on bgg. when I get a game that has that, I go and do the past challenges and then I can see how I scored compared to others and see pictures of their endgame, sometimes it helps me figure out things as I learn the game, sometimes it just gives me feedback as to how I did. Some games that have the challenges, which I'm playing recently are: warp's edge, cartographers, cartographers heroes, Three sisters, Motor city, Orchard, Grove, Glass Road, Cascadia, Bowling, and Wingspan.
Yeah many folks enjoy the BGG solo challenges! I've never done them myself but they're a great way to get the most out of your games. Thanks for watching!
Fantastic list of solo games. I own several of these already, but picked up a couple of new recommendations from your list. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for watching!
Brilliant list. Elder Sign is a favourite of mine, but there are a lot of games in the list I haven’t played that look interesting.
Thank you! Love Elder Sign!
Best review of solo games. Thanks!
Thank you!
Great list for small box soloists or beginners!
Amazing video thank you!
This is great! I'm new to solo gaming,I have a lot of ButtonShy games, and this list is really going to help me jump to a new level. Thanks so much, going to check out some of your other videos!
Happy to help! Enjoy the hobby!
Great list! I bought 4 of them. Can't wait to play.
Thank you!!! Happy gaming!
Thank you for the video!! Some AWESOME recommendations!! And I have to say I love all the ways you have rehoused your games!! You could do a whole video about the containers you used for each one 😊👍🏽
Thank you! Happy you liked it!
Puzzle Dungeon is the best!
Great video thanks 👍
Thank you!
Such a good video! Keep it up!
Thank you, that means a lot!
Great video, a lot of stuff I didn't know about. I'm figuring out which Roll&write to pick, I've never played one and I'm really curious. I've been looking at Welcome to The Moon! but Cartographer was also on the list.
Thank you! There are some roll and writes that you can just print on a piece of paper and provide your own dice, and that are really good from what I hear: look into Voyages, Aquamarine, Utopia Engine and Dungeon Pages.
Welcome to the moon is great if you think of it as 8 seperate games that can combine in a campaign. there will be boards you love and boards you hate, it's a preference thing, but I love some and like most. I don't think of cartographer as a roll and write, it is a flip and write, but somehow it's different from the rest. My favorite roll and write is Three Sisters, but it probably shouldn't be the first exposure to the genre because you're triggering cascades of do this and get this, then that, etc.
Wow brother congratulations, what an amazing list of solo games! I just started about 1 years ago collecting some of the greatest games ever. I almost $200 for the whole collection of Iron Helm with the mat, got Friday, terraforming mars, el dorado, mage knight, spirit island , coffee roaster, mini rouge and others but your list got so many I didn’t knew about. Great research in fact! Thanks for sharing… I subscribed to the channel. Good luck 🍀… 🫡
Thank you!!! You those are some great games to dive in!
I don't like Friday, but I get you. Pretty cool list also for advance gamers tho. Besides, you're theonly one so far who shows the game the way it supposed to be: Set on the table. Subscribed.
Thanks! I appreciate the input!
very interesting video, cool games and others I didin´t know them.
Thanks for watching!
I would also add Star Wars: The deckbuilding game with EXCELLENT solo mode "Leaders" created by some blue-skull dude named AzureDeath. ;) But seriously, highly recommend you try it!
Hehe thanks 😁
Great video........Hi from Bogotá...!!!
Gracias! Saludos!
Great video.
Thank you for watching!
The Jump Drive: Terminal Velocity expansion is now out, including solo play.
Waiting for it to arrive at my LGS!
Jump Drive Terminal Velocity is out!
I got it since 😁 just gotta play it lol
Puzzle Dungeon is currently on kickstarter.
I am so annoyed that the Button games cannot be found in the UK.
Have nearly all other games you mentioned.
To be honest, I am restricted to small boxes in the last year due to not feeling well and table playing is out 😥
Love Friday; One Deck Dungeon; Cartographers and Oniverse games....plys,many more !
Hope that I can get back to table play even if I am a solo player,I miss my games.
Thanks.
Sorry to hear that! I thought that Buttonshy had a UK hub, I guess they're having a hard time keeping up with stock.
They have a UK hub and can send quite a few of the games, they have separate listing on the website, search "UK only"
I'll have to check some of these out. I've only heard of 3 of them before now.
I've been looking for a cool solo game, but my problem has been that everything that appealed to me was over $100. I can't bring myself to pay more for a board game/ card game than a video game.
Fair enough! Hope you enjoy the games when they arrive!
Its interesting, how Ender Sign is under rader :) Its great game, and me and my wife loves it. SMASH the subs button
Question about PnP for desolate. I love Jason Glovers games but have held off from buying Desolate specifically because I wanted to PnP it. But where did you get your tracking cubes for it since you PnP and didn't order it from TGC?
Hi! I just took them from my copy of Terraforming Mars Ares Expedition 🙂 I only play it solo so most go unused.
I bounced hard from odd too much random dice throwing or maybe i don't get the twist of the game
It's definitely not for everyone! It was one of my first solo games so I'm a bit biased hehe
Pandemic is solo?
Yes you can find official solo rules for original pandemic and also Hot Zone. You can also play two handed, many people do it that way!
