Just for future reference India and the region its part of is South Asia not South East Asia. Edit: Just lil something else. As a South Asian I find it interesting to see how youd interpret South Asian culture into a pokemon region. What I can take is most of your Devar Region is based on Indian Hindu culture aa well as Neplese and Bhutanese Hindu/Buddhist culture. Which are very Alien to myself as British Bangladeshi Muslim and most of what I recognise from my culture is more in line with Pakistan, Afghanistan and Muslims of North India. So its kinda a learning experience for me. Tho the region doesnt feel like it rep South Asia as a whole and is more Dharmic religions inspired region.
Wow! I am Indian, and I LOVED THIS! Especially what you did with Hawlucha- the multiple inspirations around Garuda are on point! Even the machamp line was brilliantly handled! I just think that you could add chittal deer inspirations for the monsoon form, but even this interpretation was so interesting to see! Love love love! ❤️
The nod to cricket was just chef's kiss. Being someone who grew with cricket, I'm just amazed by Devharian Timburr and its evolutions. Top tier, Brandon!
It would be sick if (hypothetically) we could see the devarian machop and timbur lines playing their respective sports in the wild when found as a group.
As an Indonesian, I'm really happy to see a regional form with some Indonesia references just like Devharian Hawlucha and Hawruda. I'm looking forward to see more about India based pokemon🤩.
This video is a perfect example as to why I'm happy to be a sub. Tons of interesting references, great fanart (seriously the part where you explained the Hawlucha and Hawruda's design and origin was my favorite part because I dig mythology from around the world)
I love all of them A LOT, but the Machamp line is just such a better version compared to the originals to me, I was never a huge fan but I would easily train Devharian one!
Was a little worried about a regional form for Hawlucha because of how much I love it on it’s own. But this regional form plus Hawruda sold me. Definitely adding it to my Jade team.
I just looked it up on Bulbapedia. Flamigo as a fighting type fits into the Dance category, since its origin is the elaborate courtship dances done by whole flocks of flamingos
gosh dang the hawlucha form + the addition of hawruda is so freaking cool i can't get over it !! so many intricacies too, tying it multiple times over to Garuda and his associated forms + birds (as an indonesian i especially appreciated this haha) i feel like this is more well-thought out and even better designed than many og pokemon
I love the subtle animations of the art. Especially in the longer/flowier elements. Really makes the art feel a bit more real and alive. It works especially well on the Breloom’s extra long ink drip because it has just the slightest hint of sideways wiggle to make it look like the ink is viscous like honey. Very good job on the concepts and the artists did fantastic! :)
For a Fighting type pokemon I think the martial art "Kalari Payatu " would be perfect . I think giving Lucario a regional variant of this form would be Awesome If you could do that.
LOVE that you took inspiration from Kabbadi. As an American, I only discovered it last year when I was scrolling ESPN+ but I really fell in love with it and watched the entire season and can’t wait for the next one. Great use of the Electric type for Machamp and they look super aerodynamic as raiders or defenders!
The Shroomish line regional forms are definetly my favorite out of this video. Fungi are one of my favorite things and to see another 'mon based off of them is a real pleasure. I like how you incorporated the "dripping ink" aspect into their designs and typings.
I really love the designs and inspirations for all of these! So well researched! You should definitely look more at the North Eastern and southern regions of India cuz they have extremely different cultures, traditions, stories, practices and also geography, history and climatic conditions! They each deserve at least one city and a few pokemon to em too! Thanks
Thank you & Foongoos for creating new forms for Machamp and the Conkeldurr line 🙌 I'm not a big fan of the originals, but these regional forms make me way more interested in the pokemon! Really love the Hawlucha form and evo, too. Your love for the pokemon definitely shows in the concept ideation!
Hi, Pragmagik! I really liked these regional forms! Devharrian Hawlucha and Shroomish made so much sense I'm a little jealous. :) No wait, I'm just impressed at how clever this is. Also, funny thing, I made a fakemon region once, and its water starter was a water snake with a pungi for a tail and poison markings and indian inspiration, just like Splasp! Guess great minds think alike, huh? :)
Hey PragMagik, I feel like you should also work with Indian fakemon artists too, like pokemontrainervb, etc., they can give you some ideas you might haven't thought of, also they are good drawers
Those are some solid regionals, Kabadi has an anime and giving Machamp the electric typing for this sport is very unique. Hawlucha is also very well designed, from it's typing to it's appearance, didn't think an evo would work so well for it.
I always nickname my Hawlucha Garuda and the psychic type regional variant for it looks so good. Also the sports based Pokemon look so good, especially Devharian Timburr line.
THAT HAWLUCHA REGIONAL VARIANT IS JUST FIRE!!!! AND THE EVO - HAWRUDA!!! OMG!!! IT NEEDS TO BE IN THE ACTUAL GAME!!! GAMEFREAK ARE YOU THERE!!? GIVE THIS MAN HIS OWN DEHVAR GAME!!! 😭😭❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
I was thinking of making this regional variant of Machomp a fighting/psychic type, give him 6 arms instead of 4,Reddish pink skin, and maybe 3 faces to make him based on The Asura.
most Asian and European countries have 6 seasons, but only 4 are commonly used for simplicity, because who will teach children early spring and early winter?
4:01 if you do make a pre winter deerling and sawsbuck i just want to give you idea 1-Maybe Add the pinkish flowers in the image in the deerling and sawsbuck design so its easier to tell which one is pre winter deerling and sawsbuck
This is awesome!! I started a Pokémon region based on Costa Rica and you make me want to start making videos 😂 I love hearing everything about your region!
pls consider fakemons (found in different parts of india) inspired from pink headed duck, asiatic lion, royal bengal tiger, peacock, lion tailed macaque, nilgiri tahr, a plant named neelakurinji which flowers in 7 years, giant flying squirrel, barahsingha, red panda, hangul deer, Fishing cat, Butterfly Fish,Indian grey Mongoose,Dugong,Musk Deer, cheetal, Spotted Deer (Jinka), Phayre’sLangur, Blackbuck, Sambhar deer, Serow, Clouded Leopard, Sangai, himalayan Snow Leopard, indian sloth bear, ghudkhur, gaur, king cobra, indian rock python, muggar crocodile(different from gharial), bengal monitor lizard, indian black panther, golden langur, honey badger, indian wolf, himalayan wolf, tibetan wolf(note these three are different variants), indian wild dog, indian jackal, Striped Hyena, Indian Civet, Himalayan brown bear, Himalayan black bear,Eurasian brown bear,Asian black bear, Kashmiri Stag, Indian palm squirrel, sun bear, chausingha, tibetan antelope, tibetan gazelle, indian muntjac, indian hog deer, caracal, eurasian lynx, pygmy hog, etc
I think I the “Great UA-cam Cleansing” happened again where they mess with my notifications again. Just clicked in my head “hey I haven’t seen Brandon in awhile so I gotta binge watch.
Since monsoons are all about it being really rainy and wet, you could give Monsoon Form a water type version of Rocky Payload (Rainy Payload?) where water type moves would be powered up
I wish the regional Breloom evolved one more time, like Galarian Linoone did. The Shroomish line needs more love! Let's make it a 3 stage line finally!
I like how this regional machamp has the same type as it's trade evolution counterpart, alolan golem. Wonder why the trade evo (graveler giving its 4 arms to machoke, and both needing trading to evolve) wasnt mentioned? Very cool!
I want to give the Devharian Hawlucha line a new signature move: Psychic Wind. It basically works like Flying Press, but it's a special attack and does Psychic damage in place of Fighting. Amusingly, this would be EXTREMELY potent against Fighting-types, the exact same type its Kalosian form is. Any Devhar Fighting-type specialists better hope their opponent doesn't have a member of the Devharian Hawlucha line on their team!
Hi prag♥️ i am an india I am happy to see beacause finally someone created a india base region and uploaded in youtube And also i am happy to see you are making fakemons based on our mythology. I really love your cornera region vedios❤. And please can you make pokemon based on every states of india. And i am also waiting when to reveel the phenomena of this region🎉
I know this isnt related to the video but i needed a recent one for this comment so please excuse- I was wondering.. with scarlet and violet introducing Armarouge (Fire/Psychic) and Ceruledge (Fire/Ghost), i pondered.. What if they had more forms too? Fire being the main type yes but rest of the typings in pokemon need their knights in shining armor, but hey just an idea :>
Bro I died of laughter when I heard the timburr line has rock hard heads so they don't "Wiley Coyote* themselves the "wiley Coyote" part caught me off guard 💀
I would greatly appreciate it if you could support the channel over on Patreon!
www.patreon.com/PragMagik
@pragmagik have a pokemon region base on southeast North america from Texas to Washington dc
Can do malay?
Hey could u do like a tutorial how to make fakemon?
Just for future reference India and the region its part of is South Asia not South East Asia.

@PragMagik one of the Pokémon if not all ready created should be a modeled based on India’s love for cricket like how cinderace replacee soccer .
I think this guy has something against alolan sandslash, just a thought
LMAO I knew someone would think that. Not at all, just was a good example in two cases 😂
Would you say that it's just a theory? A GAME THEORY
@@PragMagik how about against flamigo hahhaha😂😂
Alolan sand slash looks like a ice type… AND ITS A FOCKIN EARTH TYPE FOR GOD SAKE
THE DEVS HAD ONE JOB ONE SINGLE JOB AND THEY FUCKED IT UP
The nod to cricket was just chef's kiss. Being someone who grew with cricket, I'm just amazed by Devharian Timburr and its evolutions. Top tier, Brandon!
i hate the timburr line and this made me look at them and go yeah i could use these. Great art
Hawlucha definitely deserves more love, surprised it hasn't been given an evolution yet
My reaction was the same as Brendon lol
Some Pokemon are better staying as single typed, considering its already perfect as is.
the world is not ready for hawlucha + eviolite
so true!
@@Unluckyloux bruh, hawlucha does best without an item, what are u on? lol
It would be sick if (hypothetically) we could see the devarian machop and timbur lines playing their respective sports in the wild when found as a group.
I am so glad that you gave Shroomish and Breloom regional forms, definitely on the team!
As an Indonesian, I'm really happy to see a regional form with some Indonesia references just like Devharian Hawlucha and Hawruda. I'm looking forward to see more about India based pokemon🤩.

0:30 flamaigo’s body and neck is supposed to be a boxing glove, that’s why it is fighting
This video is a perfect example as to why I'm happy to be a sub. Tons of interesting references, great fanart (seriously the part where you explained the Hawlucha and Hawruda's design and origin was my favorite part because I dig mythology from around the world)

I am proud that our country is chosen by you to make a Pokemon region. I really like those designs by the artists!
Was a little worried about a regional form for Hawlucha because of how much I love it on it’s own. But this regional form plus Hawruda sold me. Definitely adding it to my Jade team.
Your Hawlucha/Haruda has to be one of the most perfectly matched-to-its-reference Fakemon ideas I've ever seen.
You have captured sooo many things soecial to India and I love All of them ❤
Keep on doing what you are doing!!🙃
Omg I need to breathe to. Those regional forms are so amazing. Again Brandon ideas+ pokemon artists = Amazing pokemon
My favorite has to be the cricket Timburr line. We need stuff like this in the official games.
I just looked it up on Bulbapedia. Flamigo as a fighting type fits into the Dance category, since its origin is the elaborate courtship dances done by whole flocks of flamingos

Hawruda and Machamp were my favorite loved their design
As a hardcore pokemon fan, I must agree these designs are great.
Why did "well, india Ink tar pitch and by *BURNING HUMAN BONES*" go so hard 😂😂😂💀💀💀
2:18 Raphael: Cricket? Nobody understands cricket! You gotta know what a crumpet is to understand cricket!
Casey: I'll teach you! *THWACK*
I'm still a little bummed we didn't a matador Hawlucha in Scarlet and Violet.

0:57 wow… you made me actually like the machop line with these designs!
The reason flamigo is fighting type is because flamingos standing on one leg is actually a type of yoga pose which has been featured in fighting types
I don’t think that’s why 😅
@@testerwulf3357 don’t say that or else we will be here rarely figuring it out for over 2 days
It’s body is a boxing glove if you didn’t notice
Those are incredible designs and ideas man!! Keep it up Brandon Devhar is becoming a great region
I love the Breloom! Breloom doesn't get enough attention, it's so cute!! Thank you for giving him some love.
I love how you got excited introducing Hawruda. All of these are well-designed and well-thought. Kudos! 👏

Breloom looks amazing - I wish I had thought of that! Awesome work
Hey @PragMagik ! Please try to continue these series; These videos are amazing!
0:28 - Flamigo is based on a boxing glove (main body, ignore the neck, head, and legs) mixed with a flamingo.
Flamigo is a fighting type because flamingoes engage in incredibly elaborate, flock-wide courtship dances.
I love some of the pokemon here but to give Halucha an evolution into something as God tier leveled like Haruda is honestly perfect.
One of the best fakemon I have seen on the internet, Hawruda.
I love how well custom ghost types can look, especially ones you make
I LOVE the new Sawsbuck!
Haruda is freaking sick. You just know it's something the Champion of this region would end up using.
Curse you for making me like a version of the Timburr line! 😂❤😊

There's two major seasons in the philipines
1.) the rainy season, june to may
2.) the dry season, december to may
As soon as you said sawsbuck i instanly knew there would a monsoon form
Some killer concepts here.
The Conkeldurr line, Breloom, Hawlucha [ / Hawruda] regional variants are especially Amazing!

just love haruda man! so cool
I actually first learned about the Ink Cap Mushroom from 1000 Ways to Die, particularly the segment "No Fun-Gus".
This entire video shocked me with all the beatiful Pokémon. Love the Monsoon Sawsbuck and Deerling. Can’t wait for more
Okaay Iove it, my praises for you and your work will fell short ❤
The Regional Machop line looks amazing
Each one is so well thought out, Hawruda is my favourite, but I love them all.
So cool and good looking
I love what you did with the breeloom.
On the Sandslash variant, there are some variations of sand that are compared to snow.
didnt expect hawlucha to get some love by getting a regional form and regional evolution
Man I'd pay huge amount of money to Game Freak to add these new mons to their newest game. So awesome designs these fakemons
9:09 Devarian Halutcha: i am the killer of all snakes.
Random eletrical Snakeskin Fakemon: You Sure about that Bub?
Devarian Halutcha: oh Shit
dude hawruda goes insanely hard, what a cool design
The Shroomish line is literal perfection. That needs to be a real thing asap
So true
Loving this Region so far! So far my team for if this region was a real game would be:
1. Vasunami
2. Homreign
3. Ceroldier
I feel like giving a regional form or a convergent evolution/form of Cufant and Copperajah would make more sense for the Devhar Region
I saw the Cricket Pokemon coming from a mile a wayay but it still blowed me away
Glad I did it justice!
Are you making convergant Pokémon as well

All the variants are absolutely amazing, and hawlucha is hands down the best one! I want a game on this region man
Had this pop up in my recommendations. Famigo is a boxing glove, that's why it's a Fighting type
