As an Indian, I absolutely love this Fakemon region! I’ve actually been thinking of working on an Indian region of my own for a while now, so I might start (though my art skills are really bad)
I’m gonna be honest here. I’m literally only 13, so you can imagine how bad my art looks. I am good at researching and coming up with the Pokémon to add to the region.
It always kills me to think that so many cool mechanics (mass branching evolutions like Eevee, evolving based on location like Burmy, SEASONS!) end up relegated to just being gimmicks in the official games. I love seeing mechanics like these, and players' own, getting love through such imaginative fakemon like these. Also, whale fish! Much love. To all of these, really. Can't wait for your next installment!
I love these videos for 2 reasons 1. Bro he’s so creative. SO CREATIVE it’s some amazing designs too 2. I get to make stats for these and I look forward to that every month!

I love India in all ways, so to see this region is a blessing! The stories told that take place in India are so fascinating, and the fact that the country was flourishing even in ancient times adds to that fact, and makes the country magical in a way. All the festivals they have, the love of animals, the religion, the nature. Jammu and Kashmir is personally my favorite place on earth because of the mountainous terrain. reminds me of the French alps in a way. The vastly differing terrains and landscapes, the huge cities and freezing cold mountains paired with the scorching deserts of the west make for a super interesting country that even so makes for a perfect Pokemon region.
Personally I would swap the spice for the ice and grass types for Iridish, with the ice being the “sweet” spice (ice cream/frosty pops etc.) and the grass being the “bitter” spice (seeing as the herbal items are restoratives but reduce the Pokémon’s happiness).
I could see either cause ice on its own has no flavor im guessing its a reference to the bitter cold and most fruit are pretty sweet and a lot of flowers are associated with sweet scents but it could really go either way tbh grass could be used for any of them but salt form

An idea: Masella’s signature should be spelled “Spice Wrack” 😂 as in, to wreck something. Like, they coat a fist in seasoning and then hit a huge uppercut on a much larger opponent
I love all these! Especially Sinsinse and Jinnsinse---they give me Sinistea and Polteageist vibes but with a little more intimidation. I love Jinnsinse's eyes! Masella and Iridish's mechanics are a lot of fun, though I thought Iridish's name might also come from the "dishes" of food you feed it. (Also wondering if you feed it during battle or during camp to change type...) Craball and Wreckapod (awesome name) are a lot of fun too. I'm imagining them doing rollout in the anime, and it would be fun. I always love all the imagination and inspiration that go into the 'mon here--it makes me really sad I can't actually have them right this second!
While watching this I realized something that goes for both the existing fake pokeball Pokémon and the one you made, the shinies for all of them shouldn’t make the red into a blue or purple, it should turn it into a yellow to reference the pokeballs with tms in them
Sinsinse and jinnsinse would gi great with their appearance changing based on the incense they're holding as well as having a signature move that changes type and added effect based on the incense, such as lucky incense turning it practically into a payday kinda move
You could do a few variations of the djinn or genies. While typically associated with smokeless fire, certain depictions have them as embodiments of other elements. They're also associated with spirits of the ancestors in middle eastern myth and i think some celestial aspects. So you could have a psychic type as well. Though I'm not the best to talk. As an Indian, I loved these Fakemon for the Devhar region. So please make another video showing the new legendaries as me and other indians WOULD LOVE TO SEE THEM. :)
Sinsinse could be a unique encounter, you can only find it on a herb and incense shops, if you buy the weird incense ( an incense with a shop owner discription saying the normal incense discription followed by "i could swear it wasn't there a moment ago". Then it jumps at you starting a battle.
You know what would be a cool gimmick, a pokemon that only knows the move metronome but has a ability that doubles the power, accuracy, and effects of the moves it gets through metronome. Add a item that makes metronome become a damaging move every time its used and you got a random powerhouse of a pokemon
Masella and Craball are super cute! Masella's name can also sound like "Must sell a," and Craball was a super creative pokeball mimic! Hats off to the artists who drew them!
I just had such a good idea and I didn't know where else to post it. Imagine if there was a Pokémon game where the gimmick is voice chat. And after you pick what move you're doing you can communicate with your Pokémon like in the anime *for example when Pikachu dug his tail into the ground against Lt surge to filter out the electricity
8:43 Okay hear me out, why not also had a hermit crab element to this critter? Like giving it a poke ball you have would change what the top shell looks like and would also change the type. For example a Netball could make it Bug/Water type, a Lure Ball would make it a pure Water Type Maybe even Water.Grass since Lure Balls are apricorn poke balls then I guess a Dive Ball would make it a pure Water type or maybe Water/Dark since it is under water. Just some examples on how you could get multiple unique type combos from different poke balls. The Shiny might even turn Gold and Silver to reference the GS ball as a poke ball you can not have in game. Alternatively, just the bottom half could turn red making the base form look like a Cherish Ball. That way it is still a reference to a poke ball you can't hold in your bag normally, but it can keep its shell changing gimmick.
It would be cool is Masella had a signature move spice bomb which would apply a status condition to everyone but iridish in which it would change forms which would allow both sides to strategically change its form

i really like colecting in games, thats a great motive that i play pokemon so i didnt think gimmighoul gimmick beeing tedious,it was natural that i would colect it by sometime.
I feel like the types for sour, bitter and sweet could be changed. Most plants have a more bitter taste, and sweet things often give more sugary energy, which in a way could be tied to the electric type. This leaves ice as sour, which I don't think works well, but it doesn't fit bitter as much as grass would.
Flowers have a sweet fragrance and the fruit from those flowers is typically sweet. Bitter as in the BITTER cold. Sour is typically associated with a *shocking* flavor (especially in candy) and in Pokémon it is also labeled yellow.
When I saw “gimmick” in the video I thought the gimmicks of different Pokémon’s were also going to be in here but as always but my expectations are blown away by your impressive out of the box thinking and coming up with these different Pokémon
This video got me thinking of other ideas but since i m not as talented as most people to make pokemon if anyone else gets inspired by this and can some how make it work would be great :) A Mon that changes from three different forms every time it gets traded : A mon That represent hear no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil. either the mon representing one of those things everytime it gets sent out the poke ball. : an hourglass mon that cracks everytime you get ambushed by a wild pokemon : A Normal type mon that can absorb an attack from a pokemon in some type of object giving that mon the typing of that attack as its secondary typing :A mon that evoles when another mon in your party evoles. it whoel deal with be competivite in evrything like a rivalry somthing like goku and vegita has. seeing one get stronger makes it push past its own limits :A mon that evoles when you only have a certain amount of hours played in the game :A grass type mon that can only evolve through battling other grass type pokemon to gain one of their leaves. Only when the mon has a certain amount of leaves then it can evolve. This can also go with a flying type and collecting all the feather items in the game : A mon that whole deal is based around the move quick attack :A mon that posess another mon in a double battle making both mon paralized and unable to move untill the posession wares off
I have a gimmick pokemon in mind and it kinda has to do with the rock type eeveeloution from my Fakemon region. The sum of it is basically Furfrou with rocky hair and has to use a chisel to shape it instead of scissors. As well as a pokemon that is a collector. Not sure what it'll be though, but I imagine it being like an ingredients trader rather than a Spice trader. For it to evolve you need to find some of its lost ingredients and make it a total of 100 meals for it to evolve, 10 ingredients go in each one and they have to be different. Other wise you get into a battle with it and have to fight for it to give you the items you cooked back.
I don't think I would use Masella or Wrecapod, as I don't normally use Normal types unless they have a secondary type I need. Iridish has some great type combinations I would normally go for, but unfortunately, I usually try to use Water types that avoid the awkward "fish or whale on land" problem. Jinnsinse, on the other hand, is a definite team possibility, as Fire/Ghost would be useful for my team, and I love its design.
I am shocked to see how he references Iridish in Eastern Devar Region. Because irl Eastern Indian states (Bengal, Odisha) and South Indian state Andhra Pradesh has fish in the regular diet. This is extremely well researched❤
Gotta be honest I thought the picaclone would in this video also really love this region so far Also I think we need to have either a gym leader or an elite 4 member also be a bolywood star could be extremely funny to have in the anime
What if you had to collect all the different types of spice that Masella might have? Then you make a special sandwich that includes all of the spices and when he eats it, Masella evolves!
the whale shark one could be a source of a new human special ability that changes when they eat certain foods like the pokemon there are psychics aura users verdant blessed and so on so a new region could have a new special ability power set
I think masella could have a signature move called power spice , the move is somewhat similar to tri attack but it would only throw one at a time and it gives an effect . The effects come with cinnamon(burn) with nutmeg(poison) and with turmeric(sleep) also it could have an evolved form that is way bigger and has a backpack full of spices, also maybe the evolution could be using power spice like 20 times
A slight change I might have added to Masella’s name is to add a U into it to spell “Mausella” because it kinda looks like a little mouse, maybe its too similar to the Tandemaus name idk
I could see the Jinnsinse line having an ability like Steelworker, but with a differing type for each different form. That way it could keep the type while still providing a distinction.
I had a similar idea once, but it's more of legendaries that have something to do with the gimmick. Like a Pokémon who's the origins of every evo stone.
Probably been asked before, but I'll throw another vote on the pile for a vanillite of every type. Every type would add a second typing and be based on a flavor or type of icecream. Vanilla could be normal, rocky road could be rock, mint chip could be ice, bubblegum or cotton candy could be fairy, black cherry could be dark, steel could be a sundae of some sort that weilds a spoon, flying could be some kind of icecream *float*, water could be in the middle of melting, and one that fell off the cone and splatted on the ground could be ghost.
Unnamed prophet? I recall the story of Jonah as another example of being swallowed by a strange fish/whale. Is it referencing this? Is there something I'm missing here as to why Pragmajik just says unnamed prophet?
These are all really great and interesting designs. Though I think it'd be better if Wreckapod changed more from its first stage so that it looked like a Bisharp or Kingambit face when closed up or something like that rather than stay as a pokeball mimic.
Thanks for working so hard to honor other peoples' cultures. It's so much easier to just stick to the limitations of one's everyday perspective and make art based on those short-sighted assumptions. It takes work to really dignify cultures and traditions that you have never experienced.
something funny i wanted to say is i was making an Indian region my self and it is not as good but as an Indian myself i love how much research is done to make very detailed pokemon which works really well

me trying to held in the urge to laugh out loud in the public :
I know a pokemon artist: Dadrake95, he is italian and maked thousands of fakemon, now he is creating a pokemon region based on Italy
I’ve never been so early!! Thank you for making awesome fakemon content 🎉
I had a similar idea once, but it's more of legendaries that have something to do with the gimmick. Like a Pokémon who's the origins of every evo stone.
My team for this region so far is Vasunami, Amangrel, Chromantic, Ghargoyle, and Jinnsinse!
3:10 I love whale sharks.
I like how crabawl went from just cute to cool
5:43 I LOVE that lil guy let me HAVE HIM!
Your content is still the best, really creative that I can't stop watching
It’s crazy how informational all his videos ate
The idea of a Djinn mon is so cool, I recently made a Djinn/ ifrit variant of Litwick and just thought it was cool
Unnamed prophet? I recall the story of Jonah as another example of being swallowed by a strange fish/whale. Is it referencing this? Is there something I'm missing here as to why Pragmajik just says unnamed prophet?
There is the story of Jonah, yes, but there is also a similar story in Hinduism. The depiction of this prophet vary.
@@PragMagik Ah, I see. Forgive my ignorance 😅
You are absolutely amazing at making fake regions and inspired Pokemon
Masella sounds kinda like "Must Sell" so you got that too
These are all really great and interesting designs. Though I think it'd be better if Wreckapod changed more from its first stage so that it looked like a Bisharp or Kingambit face when closed up or something like that rather than stay as a pokeball mimic.
what software do you use for your drawings? im thinking about making a channel with different content however i cant find good drawing software
Thanks for working so hard to honor other peoples' cultures. It's so much easier to just stick to the limitations of one's everyday perspective and make art based on those short-sighted assumptions. It takes work to really dignify cultures and traditions that you have never experienced.
Marsella be like
“And now they got
SPICES”
something funny i wanted to say is i was making an Indian region my self and it is not as good but as an Indian myself i love how much research is done to make very detailed pokemon which works really well
Jinnsinse is an INSTANT addition to my team in Devhar ghost fire AND a djinn 10/10 inspiration and design
