One of my all time Favorites Movies. I know everyone loves the Classic The Wizard of Oz. But The Wiz and the 1985 Return To Oz was my two Childhood Favorites 😁
0:41 This is so crazy I never knew that Side note: You so need more recognition your production quality is off the charts I really enjoyed this video thank you ‼️❣️
WoW! Amazing that you got all this info in under 5 minutes! I wanted more! I have always been interested in this particular filming location bcuz of the park and the historical significance of the movie fandom. Once I found out that the bridge is the Meadows Lake bridge over the Long Island Expressway, I became obsessed that I have passed that site several times and didn't even consider the fact that it was there all the time. You actually beat me to it. You did an amazing job - editing. You need more views and subs.
I did forget to mention him, not on purpose as he was one of the only broadway to movie transfers. I have loved this film for years and am fascinated with how much there is to learn constantly. Thank you for pointing that out I appreciate it
As a fan of this glorious beautiful film I was already familiar with these filming locations. The Wiz is my favorite movie too ! Hence my UA-cam name. Would have loved to see the full video of you "Easing on Down the Road" 😊
Lol Maybe when I make part 2, I want to visit Schermerhorn subway station and Coney Island. I have also reached out to Kaufman Astoria Studios it would be wonderful if they respond! *fingers crossed*
@@CarlBrain The 2nd Ease on Down with the Tin Man was over the Wards Island Bridge. Another fantastic location point. "Cause the steps you're taking leave you 3-4 steps behind" and "the road you're walking might be long sometimes"🟨🟨🟨🟨🟨🟨🟨🟨👠👠
@sebsi5833 I think maybe Coney Island, but I'm not 100% sure. They could have just used the Nathan's mural on the shot of any random outside shot. again not quite sure 🤔
🔥 The Wiz is a classic
One of my favs!

The Twin Towers, Coney Island, the Brooklyn Bridge and Shea Stadium were some of the other locations The Wiz was filmed at
This deserves more views!!! 🥺💓
I appreciate that! It'll come with time
I absolutely love The Wiz. I was just in Corona Park this weekend 😊
Same lol ❤
I had NO idea the Ease on Down #1 was filmed on location. I always pictured Astoria Studios was the location. Great video!
@@terrancetucker8020 thank you! It was such a fun video to make, I want to go to the subway station next working on it

Thank you for such kind words, this is definitely one of my favorite parks! I want to make a sequel covering the Subway scene and more!
@@CarlBrain Yes. The Hoyt Schermerhorn Station and Times Sq. I believe.
Omg I learned so much.
I am so glad! 🙌
THE WIZ COOL 😎 SMOOTH 😊
Your editing is so cute!!! Loved this video!
Thank you so much! 💓
You skipped Ted Ross...if you gonna mention the lead characters,, mention them all and learn about them, not just shouting names for the internet....
