I love Bald Eagles!!!!!!
I used to photograph eagles. They are a magnificent bird to see one flight is amazing.🦅♥️🦅
I remember when the eagle population plummeted, and it was discovered that DDT was to blame for their eggshells being too thin. I remember being upset thinking that these magnificent birds would disappear forever. I used to watch documentaries about spotting and tagging them, during efforts to bring them back. I am so glad you are taking care of these injured eagles, and that you are teaching people about them. Thank you.
Silent Spring... I did a book report on it a million years ago. Dated, but ahead of its time.
Bald eagles are so majestic and I have seen them in Alaska. I have a rescued cockatiel who pulled a tendon and he can no longer fly but it happened in the cage I have him in. I have had him for 23 yrs too. Thanks for the Home Safari:)
lol watching them just walk around like big chickens cracks me up
you guys are awesome me and my dad love bald eagles so cute
Bald eagles are really cool!
What a lucky Man U are u are lucky. To work with a beautiful bird
Thank you! Very beautiful birds!🤗 It was interesting to learn new about these eagles. 🤔
Yeah
@Allison Calle agreed
Awesome
I had no idea the young had brown heads. I love our national bird. I wish America had laws to protect all endangered species. Thank you so much!
They are so beautiful. Went kayaking by one of their nesting areas up in Maine last summer. Such gorgeous creatures, and it's surprising how few of them are left in the wild.
nina jordan They are thousands of them. They were taken off of the Endangered Species list in 2007.
Every time I see these guys the song "America, f*ck yeah!" plays in my head 😂
Majestic birds!
DDT almost made the California condor extinct, too. 😥 But they are making a comeback, thanks to San Diego Zoo, among others. 🙂🙏
Endangered not extinct. If they were extinct they couldn't come back.
@@rebjack2 I wrote ALMOST, not that they were extinct. They are not the Tasmanian Tiger, luckily. 🙂
Kim Bloomfield Though they were at one time extinct in the wild. Their numbers got so low that zoos were forced to collect and breed them. Thanks to zoos, they’re making a comeback and being reintroduced into the wild.
The True American bird of Freedom 🦅🇺🇸🦅
Love eagles.

@@bonabmc9286 l'm sorry I have no idea what you're talking about
Thank you for this safari. Thoroughly enjoyed it. You have some beautiful BE's! I am a keen eagle watcher (eagle nation) all over the country on livecams. I can remember growing up in MI in the 50's-70's, the only place we saw the BE was in a zoo - maybe.
I live in an apartment building that back directly onto the Hudson River in Upstate New York & we happen to be lucky enough to have a pair of bald eagles & some red tailed hawks we got however are unlucky enough to have a murder of crows that keeps dropping dead from reovirus, I don't even know how many crows we lost this winter!
Huh, never saw a three-year-old bald eagle before. Love these guys.
Do the bats next
I love these videos....
I just wish there would be some camera instruction.
Just a tech note: you might want to get a gamble for the camera, or for the selfie stick if you're using a phone to record video. A gimble will keep the image steady, even if the camera is not. Thank you.
Hello
Wassup
can your eagles fly???
Their exhibit isn’t even fenced out so how do they not fly away?
Hi! You mentioned you are not allowed to breed them, how do you prevent this from happening as males and females are kept together? Would also love to see some behind the scenes care of these birds like how you do health checks!
I'm curious as to this as well. It seems the male is the youngest so I assume he can't breed yet. I would love to know the signs that they see when it is time for him to be separated from the females.
They probably just addle the eggs.
Don’t they have names?
omg
So are they here to stay? Will we be able to see them when the social distancing is over?
He said that they are never be able to live in the wild on their own, so i would say yes they stay with them til they die. Especially if they can't fly anymore.
@@adamryan977 not always, sometimes their here for a bit then move on to other zoo's

Merika
