So glad that Fiona grew up beautifully! And she has her Mummy with her.
You guys did such an amazing job raising Fiona. She's over 1000 lbs now but there was a day when she was underweight & it didn't look like she was going to make it through the night. But Fiona did make it, thx to you all & now everyone loves her. 😄😍❤❤❤
Since watching Fe's birth and holding my breath during the hard times, shedding tears of joy as she grew...I feel like a distant relative SO thankful to all those who have not only saved our little potato's life, but ensure her and her family have a wonderful life. ❤🦛❤🦛❤🦛❤

In one of the zoo videos the Head keeper said when Fiona came along we humans probably needed her more than she needed us. That's something I will always remember. What a joy 😍

I love to watch how you clicker train the animals - so think about showing us how you do it (just like you’ve shown us how you trained Fiona and Bibi to get their blood draws done) for other animals. I am a terrible dog trainer, so I love seeing experts do a really good job with the training, especially since your training is designed to get them comfortable with necessary medical testing. Love your videos! Whatever you want to show us, I am here for.
I so enjoy learning more about the animals. You make life in quarantine much more enjoyable. I'm hoping and praying that once this quarantine is over I can come visit. Thank you

I am an equestrian and when we have summer camps we put a bunch of paint on a canvas, put plastic wrap over it and then sprinkle the grain on top of it so that when they eat the grain it smears the globs of paint around! The kids love it and I think that it would be great to do with the hippos as long as its safe!

It's a crayola brand. It's stuff they give human kids to play with. Non-toxic, cause you can't trust kids not to put it in their mouths either. :P
I'm wondering the same.. Non-toxic isn't the same as edible though..?
Mind you, compared to body size, thats not alot being consumed. But still worth being mindful as the keeper.

Yay!! Bibi and Fiona!! Nice surprises today! Painting, and fruit taste test!! And a video of how to draw Fiona! Wow! I'm going to watch that right after this. You guys are doing an amazing job showcasing the animals and making it fun and interesting. I hope to visit your zoo one day when the current situation eases. A friend of mine has plans to fly to Cincinnati in the fall to see a Bengals game and to visit the zoo. Fiona is her favorite. I hope she can go. Thank you for all the work you do and the good care you take of the animals!
Ok. I give up and can't take it anymore! I'll be taking a roadtrip to see Fiona and BiBi when this is over.
