I never considered Reflections because I usually avoid expansions for light games. But I have always felt that Canvas was a little too brutal for some people. It sounds like Reflections might be worth the look.
They have said this will be the final expansion. There are 2 days left on their latest kickstarter to get these games at a discount. The kickstarter is for a Canvas big box to hold the base game and both expansions all in one container.
I do play with it all together. Works quite well, tbh. You don't get to play with all the art cards because there are so many (same with the goal cards), but give em a good shuffle and play a couple of games:)
Just picked up this expansion and ill be playing it this weekend. So excited! Canvas is such a lovely game.

Canvas is the only game I haven't stored in my gaming room - but rather hanging on the wall in the dining room.

Just the base game for either of the expansions. Reflections and Finishing Touches are not dependent on each other!
Did you try playing with everything together? Did it go smoothly? Sounds like it wouldnt be much of an issue but just an assumption.
