How do you aim them once installed? I watched every Dodge Ram installation video you have and read the installation instructions on your site and other than the step that says “aim your headlights” you don’t explain anything. What size Torx?
@@FFred-us9tw what? My adjustments were the same on both headlights. I just stuck a Phillips down the hole in my fender and adjusted them. It looks like the adjuster fitting from OEM headlights are supposed to be used, but they’re not. Mine just used a Phillips head stuck down there.
On mine I had to pull them out a few inches, fit a wrench in there, spin the adjuster a few times and put them back a few times to get them even. I need to re do it now because they are too low. They have the adjuster on them, just not the nut on top so you can't do it while they are installed like they show here
2012 Ram 1500: I just plugged the cable in that joins the two lights to the box and left it unplugged from the fuse box and battery. (Zip tied out of way) I plugged the factory bulb harnesses where they go and have a fully functional lights. 🤷
I just installed the pro series G2 in my 2017 Ram Rebel with factory projectors. I had to buy the factory projector adapter harness. I am having trouble getting the turn signals to work. It would be nice to have a installation guide and video for this type of installation.
I just installed the G2 pro i noticed when i cut my headlight switch off position the passenger side DRL stays on but the driver side is off is there something i hookup wrong or didn't hookup or is there something wrong with headlight?

So I'm in a huge conflict, I own a 2006 Ram. And everyone who owns a 3rd gen Ram, knows that they have a poorly designed headlight. Not much you get out of them even with a quality led bulb. Not sure if that has to do with the H13 High/Low or with the reflectors. I'm looking into a morimoto retrofit with a 55watt HID System or the new AlphaRexx Pro series that comes with stock H7 Halogens and then just getting a HID conversion. I feel having one high projector and one low beam I might have more output out in front of me. Help!!!!!!

Hey! I just installed the new alpha rex 2500 5th gen headlights on my 2018 ram and i am now getting a parking light out error on my dash. How do i Fix this?
@@markd1199 so it was actually the DRL harness causing the error to appear. After removing it everything is all good. It must be sending too much power to the system.
@@JuniorHtx98 ya thats the only downside. If i want the DRL during the day i have to turn my parking lights on but if i leave it in auto they only come on at night
Just buy some resistors. You don't need a hundred dollar obd device and app. I got a pack of 6 on Amazon less than $12. Used two per parking lamp. And body ground the other end. Never had a bulb out message on my 2018 Ram.
How am I supposed to adjust height on this? Nothing like stock. I dont know what the hell to do I've got them in and they are pointing straight at the dang ground
Pop the cover off the back of the headlight, it has a spring loaded double prong clamping the bulb into place. I know it's late for this question but maybe it'll help others in the future

Where it could connect the existence wire both headlight there is 1 each side in the converter harness as well the yellow wire with 1 pin? when i remote start drl light is on but when i turn a run position and shift gear drl is off and i would like to be stay on all the time while driving.
Did you find an installation video for this? Mine is throwing the parking light code and I have never installed resistors before. Alfa OBD didn't help with it either.
@@estebanmartinez1356 without seeing your fuse box and lid. It may be different. However the fuse box right by the battery. Looking towards the fire wall it should be on the back right side away from you. Theres 2 rows of mini fuses behind 2 silver bigger fuses. Itll be labeled as sunroof. And be a 5 amp fuse. I can't send a pic on here otherwise I'd point it out directly.
Would also like to see a how-to and walkaround of the 5th Gen 2500-style headlights as well. Keep up the awesome work!
Heres an idea. Put a real adjusting screw on the headlight beam. Like the stock ones have.
Why? They’re made to just use a Phillips head.

what fuse do I use on a 2011 mine doesn’t have f66?
Trying to figure out the same thing on my 2012, it says to install the fuse in m6 or m19 but my bottom strip light won’t turn on only the top

Alfa obd device ($100) will let you update your Ram to accept the led’s.

there is a crown looking thing behind/top of headlight...u adjust those with a wrench

Apparently some need resistors. My 2019 with halogen throws a code and now I’m waiting on resistors ……
Did you find an installation video for this? Mine is throwing the parking light code and I have never installed resistors before. Alfa OBD didn't help with it either.

How do I do a fuse tap on a 2012 ram
If you havent got this yet.
Get the fuse tap from auto zone any one that says atm on it for mini fuses. Use fuse m19 in the fuse box under the hood.

I got a pair on mine 2018 2500 blinds ever one Im on a 20inch lift so maybe that's why.
