Good to hear about Ariel and is social life, I think when kids get older the more social life they have with friends who have the same interests rather than when they are younger and trying to organize play dates.

Girl, I hear ya! Try taxing THREE around that have tons of activities! I feel like I drive for lyft without the pay, lol. Also, gas is over $4 now! As my grandma says staying busy keeps them out of trouble! I have NEVER in my travels seen Kung Pao made that way. It looks interesting. I think socialization is almost as important as a proper education. Sometimes it is not the parent but the child. My oldest is a bookworm, always researching something. He is perfectly fine with having 1 friend. My younger son has friends but is really close to 2 of them. Now, my daugher on the otherhand is a social butterfly! She has TONS of friends and loves it (a lot of them are from her studio where she dances 30+ hours a week). The more you talk about Canadian school systems the more that I realize how good ours is compared and would NEVER want my children to be educated there! It is VERY much a part of the kiddos curriculm to socialize, to build up their support group. School systems have laws and regulations that they have to abide by for the safety of the children and the school. It is unfortunate that our society is what it is today but our children have to be protected. When you homeschool, it falls on the parent/child and there are not regulations to follow in this regard. There is a southern saying that goes, a locked gate keeps an honest man honest.
Chinese food is my ultimate FAVORITE. I have to becareful though, it goes right to my butt! Hahahahha..

Aloha beautiful friends, food looked delicious. Our Kilauea volcano will be possibly erupting really soon. We've been having a lot of earthquakes. 250 small earthquakes within the past 24 hours. Although me particular is not close to the volcano, there is many people who will have to evacuate from the puna area.
