    These chicken nuggets look wonderful! I can't wait to try your recipe. You are all such a cute bunch! Is there a video that goes into more detail about how you met, how your child became a part of your family, how you got married etc. Coming out as a gay family is a big deal and I am sure you understand why viewers would have questions.

    The nuggets look so delicious. I make mine with crushed pork rinds mixed with almond flour. I feel every family is unique and have d different way of doing things that is not necessarily wrong. I am not trying to be rude but can you tell us if Ariel have developmental issues?

    I understand where you are coming from by not stressing but I wonder would you feel the same if you had 3,4,or ,5 at the table like your son asking for this to be mixed or this to be cut or chop at the table do you think it would be the same as now?

    I agree with you about being more laid back with Ariel on these matters. I think society puts too much pressure on concerning these behaviors. He will grow into a fine young man. He has brilliant parents!! Note also that this is coming from a kindergarten teacher of 20 years. Keep doing you!! 😀👍

    • @VictoriaPaikin
      @VictoriaPaikin 8 років тому +1

      Thank you I totally agree. Thats why I'm homeschooling.

    • @piinthekitchen8121
      @piinthekitchen8121 8 років тому +5

      +Veggiedeb But Ariel is 9. He's not the age of a kindergarten child anymore... just saying. And I know that homeschooling works for only 18% of the children. Most of them will have difficulties later because they are not around other kids half of the day. School is not just about teaching maths and such, it's also about social skills. And many parents who are homeschooling deprive their children from that. Homeschooled children often grow up in a micro cosmos and Ariel shows many behaviours that show how smart he is but at the same time he thinks he's like his mothers. But he's a child. You can't treat a child like an adult and then baby and pamper him at the same time. I've watched many videos on this channel now and I love Victoria and Regina. But I think Ariel needs mor guidance and rules. Victoria said many weeks ago that Ariel wants to improve his manners at the table but there is no change. He holds the spoon correctly and it goes unnoticed, no praise. 2 minutes later he's back to his old habits and grabs the spoon like a 3 year old again. And that also isn't noticed and corrected. This is coming from a teacher at primary school, teaching children at the age of 6 to 11. I also work part time at a daycare for children from an orphanage. Age 8 to 13.

    • @VictoriaPaikin
      @VictoriaPaikin 8 років тому +1

      You have very outdated info about homeschooling.

    • @piinthekitchen8121
      @piinthekitchen8121 8 років тому +5

      So when I work with children that go to regular schools and children that are being homeschooled and I can see the differences in their behaviour, you tell me I'm outdated? You see your son. I see many children every day. And I see that the homeschooled children very often become outsiders or troublemakers once they are in a group with children from regular schools and they can't just "escape" and run to their parents. They might do fine in sports groups or when they play with others. Because then, they spend time with kids who have the same interests. But that's not what the future holds. they will have to find work and deal with people they might not like. Then, they will have to adapt.

    • @piinthekitchen8121
      @piinthekitchen8121 8 років тому +5

      And again, I'm not talking about pressure, I'm talking about *guidance*. I'm not hating. It's just that I see children with the eyes of a teacher and a friend. Children love me. Even when I correct them, they might be pouting, but I'm a very loving and playful teacher.
