@@TheAfricanScript No, I have not. I'm proud of Mozambique for winning their independence in 1975, and was able to join the kingship of the British by choice, and not by duress. Also, I always wondered 🤔 about the name. I am African (Black) American.

Well, Ganny, this channel making me crazy. Now my appetite boomed. In a mind visiting at least one of them. Mozambique made me more crazier. Seems the 11th fact you missed to mention is cleaned city. Believe me I am a true story lover. So I have many movies based on true stories. Blood diamond is one of them. Isn’t it really happened in Sierra Leon?
Similarities to my country is growing coconut & cashew.

Mozambique is known for its wildlife and beautiful beaches but it is also rich in cultural heritage. As a former Portuguese colony, there is a lot to discover. It has only been independent since 1975 which is not so long ago. The official language is Portuguese but there are over 40 different dialects.

Mozambique is named after a Swahili Arab sheikh Musa bin Bique...
It has a city named by Somalis..
Sofala( Somali for digging) where Ajuran Somali empire used to mine gold.

Leonardo Di Caprio??? Who cares? I can't believe, as an African, you didn't mention Djimon Hounsou.
