This is a very rookieish tourist list. I would definitely choose Ilha de Moçambique as the first on my list and completely remote places like some remote beaches between Nacala and Mossuril. I have family there, and there's a secret beach called Curuse, This is my best contribution on the internet. This is the most beautiful unknown place in the world
Though have not visited this country of Mozambique can still remember the song Lourenço Marques the garden city by the Sea and it should be beautiful as it is of Portuguese creation.
I Lived in Mozambique (banking) and I have been in Rovuma river, Mueda, dived in Quirimbas, Palma, Mocimboa, Bazaruto (Santa Carolina), Inhaca island, and lived for 17 years at Maputo. It is a fabulous country, and has a great friendly People- I made the most marvellous diving in the coastal coral reefs as well as rod and reel fishing. All Mozambique speak Portuguese (official language) and very well. The food was great shrimps, lobster, fishes, cashew. We had cyclones in 1966. Politics change every country, Mozambique as well as Portugal.
The most beautiful place in Mozambique is its former capital city: tiny, one thousand-year-old Mozambique Island- 'Ilha'. The UNESCO World Heritage island has a unique blend of history, nature, and culture; and its fusion cuisine and the fact that it is probably the safest place in Africa just add to its charm

nice looking country but unfortunately seems a very serious situation is quickly developing in the country, isis terrorists seem to be on a rapid offensive in the north of the country and don't seem to be keeping held back by the government forces one of the places mentioned here at number 8 the city of pemba terrorists seem to be quickly advancing on it
A great pity, the many road blocks maned by rude and cheeky soldiers or police , is a contradiction to this tourist program. Very poor security in the towns generally.
