What a pleasure to find this here today! I've loved the film for years and enjoyed very much hearing the actors talk about the characters with such empathy. "Pike is an angel." Yes, for sure.
It's a movie ahead of its time but with so much heart. The cast was absolutely perfect my only issue was the ending wasn't clearly defined. I think it could have been given a little bit more time to breathe and be expanded upon. I have to accept it for what it is and I absolutely love this movie and it will always be dear to my heart.
Why didn't they leave a beard for Harry character- he looks so much better! As much as I liked the film it was hard to understand the attraction Pike felt for Harry without a beard :)

Probably because he's a city person.
I think if they were to do an epilogue or one year later and he stayed in Montana I bet he would have a beard.
I wish there were more gay movies like this. Where is this town? I want to move there.
