I love that scene! Those guys that sit in the shop all the time are so funny. I love when they were like fighting over the cappucino machine. lol I think it's great that the guys were trying to help Pike. That's the first movie I've seen where the country folk aren't portrayed as homophobic. I love Big Eden. It's by far one of my favorite movies now. ^_^
I felt bad that Dean had his little heart-break breakdown in this scene but I loved how the old men in the store were as noisy as old biddies in a hair salon XD
Mad Queen yes and the one guy I think his name is Lloyd says and there he goes... Such a great and funny scene heartbreaking for Dean. I think what Dean was feeling was maybe he was jealous that maybe Henry have found someone else to show affection to. And I think Dean liked Henry but not in the way that Henry loved Dean but like a crush Maybe but it would have never developed into anything because Dean is straight. But this really is so so good I love it I can't wait to own it. And I still can't get over Eric Schweig's voice it's so deep and sexy and his hair!!
@@purplekraze93 Dean is definitely not straight in this movie. I think Dean is Bisexual. His heartbreak came from a place of a romantic relationship never happening with Henry because I’m guessing he was scared to jump into a gay relationship with his kids, maybe scared of how he would be perceived as well. After he kissed Henry the first time and said he really wanted to be in a relationship with him but couldn’t he probably regretted it; which is why he told Henry he wanted to try again at the thanksgiving dinner. Henry’s rejection was based off of suspecting that Dean was queer and waiting for him to say/do something for 20 yrs but Dean never did until he kissed Henry and told him that he couldn’t be in a relationship with him which kinda sealed the end of their romantic relationship. But yeah, Dean’s breakdown in the car was due to the fact that Henry had moved on with Pike. Dean then goes on to be with Anna which I think was a good way for everyone to have a happy ending.
JUST saw this today finally. Pike & Henry are so cute! I started to feel bad for Pike when we saw him making all the details for the food in earlier scenes, and Henry just never noticed. It was like the girl who baked cookies for the boy he likes who just sees cookies and not the details on them X3 but it ends quite nicely for them after all, so I was happy.
What a gem! Townfolks remind me of Northern Exposure, minus Maurice grumping about the gay guys. Love it, from start to finish. Great acting and story! The setting is to die for, as well.
I so want to see this movie again! I'm sorry, but in my opinion, Ayre Gross is so sweet looking; cute and adorable....i would so cuddle up with him if he were really gay....

I have ask myself the same question He was married shortly from 9 September 1999-2000 4 months no children born He has adopted 2 foster care children in 2018 Apart from that it,s a mystery his love life for the last 21 year I looked on Wikipedia and imdb which are the 2 sites about celebrities with no gossips They both say divorced or single which doesn,t help much bc some one can be not married but still have relationships I saw 2 comments 1 was his niece and the other one? But the one with the question mark was saying thank you to his niece for answering the question about his love life I ask her if she could tell me too but she didn,t answer The secret is well kept I got my own idea but its 1 of 3 chance to be right Either gay straight or bi so?
