Singapore's cleanliness and greenery was a great thing 10 years ago.not a big thing today.nowadays cities like Shenzhen, shanghai Chengdu,doha , Dubai are more cleaner than Singapore
Obviously you have not been to residential apartment. You will be shocked by sheer amount of birds dropping on floor of most (if not all) hdb block. Hawker centres are literally filled with droppings everywhere. Never have i seen anything like this in residential area in other major cities in asia.

you are right, Singapore is so small😁 maybe that is one of the reason easier to keep clean😁 we also went to Malaysia later that trip!

Singapore is not 100% clean. Singapore is a very stressful place to work and live.
at least what we saw is clean, may be if you live there long enough, you'll find the "not clean" part.
