Just a little correction on Throne and Liberty. In the last dev interview they said there will not be open world PvP and instead there will be some limited timed events where zones will change to PvP giving players choice to participate or not. I think the game in general will be more PvE oriented than BDO.

Can you please show where they say that? they said and i quote " most of TL's fields are safe" they didnt said all of the zones and on that video they also said regarding the dungeons that help or damge can be given to others, should we assume that open world dungeons are pvp zones? we need to wait and see the full scoppe of the game
i did pvp in bdo like twice lol. i dont get why everyone claims that bdo is such an pvp game, its not. if all you have left after multiple thousands of hours is pvp, then that doesnt mean that the game is all about pvp, it just means that you did all the pve stuff and kinda beat the game. mmos have one of the worst game design out of all the genres, so stop just accepting it as the new norm.
Dude, thank you so much for the time and work you put in these videos. I'm one of those (old) guys that's still waiting for a new mmorpg with deep crafting, player driven economy and all those features that make you feel that your character matters something in that world. So even though the dream may never come true these recap videos are essential to me! 😁👍🏻
Deep crafting and a player driven economy are kind of at odds with cosmetic microtransactions (which is one of the most popular monetization models for online games these days). Of the 34 games in this video, only a few may actually have that, unfortunately. But, our day will come!
Ya same I’ve been waiting for a great crafting system for so long I hate how they switched to in game drops being better then your own crafted gear over the years makes me feel like not wanting to play an mmo when I can’t just craft my own shit and be powerful
I'm waiting for Ashes of Creation, Diablo4, Blue Protocol, PoE 2, Palia, Soulframe. Star Citizen is also on my list, but I think it will not be released(in full) before single player game Squadron42 although there are big changes coming to the game in 2023(beginning from patch 3.18 and finishing on 4.0 at the end of the year) but we will see.
Most hyped about Ashes of Creation, of course. I'm actually thinking about having a look at Palia, too, because I have been looking for a truly recreational, utterly stressfree online experience for a while ...
@@abdelrahmanrad Age of Creation is hugely ambitious and features some truly novel ideas, plus the developers have experience and the financing is rock-solid. There is little reason to suspect at this point that it wil not be an extremely interesting addition to the market, and I cannot see it not winning a substantial market share upon release. I recommend you watch LazyPeon's recent videos on the game.
Fun fact(or not): Tera Online has the original files for Lineage 3, NCsoft then scrapped Lineage 3 for Lineage Eternal. Lineage Eternal remade into Throne & Liberty. As an old L2 player, I've been dying for a new Lineage MMO. By the looks of the latest preview, TL is the closest we are gonna get to a new Lineage MMO. It's after all based on Lineage 2. They've even reused old L2 weapon models in TL.
My most anticipated MMORPG currently is ArcheAge 2 by far if this goes well it will be a DREAM GAME for me, btw to OW-PVP fans who might be excited for TL have in mind this game won't have OW-PVP, Clan Wars or a PK/Karma system, if you were excited because you thought it will be similar to Lineage II know that it will be nothing like it.
If a person goes into Star Citizen as a sci-fi life simulator/community rather than a game to beat or win it's fun. I think too many people want a game to play and win so they're mad at how long it's taking.
I'm going to have to see if Blue Protocol is enough to keep me tided over until AoC finally comes out. I'm probably overly-pessimistic but it seems like AoC is also on the 2025 and later list imo. The Riot MMO looks interesting, but its release and timetable put it around AoC right now so its taking second at the moment.
Blue Protocol is the one I'm most looking forward to actually playing this year. The Riot MMO has so much potential but we've seen absolutely nothing of it so I'm trying to not even think about it yet... But for now I'll be sticking with FFXIV and ESO for my MMO needs.
Just so you're aware : Hytale was only suggested a possible testing phase in 2023, not to release, and even the testing phase was not set in stone. *On top of that, it was announced in 2013, the trailer was released in 2018.*
I don't remember the devs announcing a playtest. They did confirm that release would possibly be in 2023 AT THE EARLIEST, to say after that that we probably shouldn't even expect anything in 2023. Also Peon is describing it as an mmo while in reality it will mostly be a sandbox rpg game with multiplayer features.
I'm really excited to see what Riot does with their MMO, but I am also looking forward to trying out Palia and Wayfinder. Really happy that the upcoming MMO's are diverse and unique, rather than them all trying to be the next WoW.
Maann, Archeage is my favorite MMO of all time. Like I put 7000 hours in unchained in a year unironically. I have very little hope for AA2. It's going to be a pay2win mess.
I was excited for Pantheon, as a big EverQuest fan, but I've lost faith in the dev team at how slow they're going, and how small the team is. Blue Protocol is top of the list at the moment.
Glad there is at least one who cares somewhat about Pantheon but yeah I guess I will try Blue Protocol in 2023 if nothing else to improve my Japanese since it is Nameco Bandai game.
LT won't be an OW-PVP game, you wont be able to declare war on some other clan & fight with them out in the open world & also it won't have a PK/Karma system, in short it will be nothing like Lineage II, not in the slightest, it will be mostly a PVE (carebear) game with some PVP events on specific areas were people will be able to choose if they want to participate, that's it.
I'm really surprised you didn't mention Ethyrial: Echoes of Yore, coming April 2023. Reminds me of RuneScape and Tibia a little. Nonetheless good list, some titles I had no idea about. And I like that you included Nightingale, Crimson Desert even though they are not MMOs.
I've player the last two Profane's pre-alpha and It was one of the best mmo's experience I've ever had. No class system like old school games like RuneScape, Ultima and Darkfall Open world PvP with open loot You Can build anywhere and people Can Destroy your buildings If you do not keep repairing once every 2 days (more for guild buildings, and it's pretty cheap to repair)
Pantheon Rise of the Fallen has just hastened their PA sessions to one every month, the most frequent testing to date. If you watch Cohh Carnage's latest video on Pantheon you can see the good progress especially regarding networking. I personally expect Alpha in 2023.
I would absolutely love to see a huge massive open world, mmorpg, lotr style game with giant community, factions and lore where the players make the story and events. Like an alternative fantasy reality.
A correction on the riot mmo, for business model you put a question mark but riot games has a very distinct business model and that is to make every game free to play while having only cosmetic microtransactions, this is completely across the board and the riot mmo will be no different.
I always thought that an action combat system would have made Archeage so much more enjoyable, but given the history of Archeage, I simply cannot get excited for Archeage 2: Electric Boogaloo

@@indios2 my primarily games over the years have been league , Overwatch and valorant and I think riot is really overhyped the content they provide are average at best really not so innovative but nonetheless their mmo might be just decent as well but the hype is crazy tho but I have to say they really appealed to the masses through their Netflix series which was really good
*Star Citizen hype!* I have no doubt it will release in 2+ years. I also have no doubt it will release "incomplete" compared to all the insane stuff planned for the game, but still be a beast compared to all the other games out there. Because already now it's an insane experience with a big player base, and that's with all the stuff missing and all the bugs and problems, so I think it's only reasonable to assume the more things get added and the more problems get fixed, the bigger the player base will get and the more awesome it will be.

Eh, you have your info twisted. Squadron 42 will release within the next 2 years, but Star Citizen will take at least 4 to 6 years. The devs just have to get SQ42 out the door to free the vast majority of devs to focus on Star Citizen exclusively.
Yeah no... When the game focuses on how many pieces blow off your ship when hit, it's pretty clear they're just developing a simulator with no actual content for longevity.

Appreciate the effort put into making this video buddy. We (like yourself) are waiting on AoC to release, however having a video like this gives our guild of 600 an idea of what they can play until then. We've got five rosters across WoW Classic, Albion Online, Foxhole, New World and those who are just waiting for AoC. Content like this helps.
Ashes is the one I'm most looking forward to, but honestly I don't believe it's going to release anytime soon. Palia also looks amazing, but nailing that 'chill fun' vibe is actually much harder than it seems.
So far every dedicated player I've seen commenting mentions the game isn't going in the direction they started off with. Not to mention it feels like that game where everyone will just put their hopes and dreams that every other mmo doesn't have, and somehow this studio will be able to create the unimaginable.
I'm most looking forward to Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen. I know it won't be out for a few years but I am patient and I really enjoy the community that has grown up around this game. My plan is to buy into the beta when it is ready. Until then my wallet remains tightly closed. "Shroud of the Avatar" has made me reluctant to buy games that aren't at least mostly complete/playable. Besides that, Ashes might be fun. I'm not a primary PvPer so I have my doubts about open world PvP. Losing your stuff is a good way to make people rage quit.
Ashes Of Creation is my big hope aswell! The leap to UE5 seems to have had a pretty decent impact on the progress in 2022. Im excited to see more Dev. updates, and possibly A2 in 2023.
Okay, so my most anticipated ones would be: 1. Ashes of Creation / RIOT - the big boys and not a surprise to be fighting for 1st place. 2. Archeage 2 - oh boy... I have some "hope" towards it, that they will realize how much they f up with Archeage and will not repeat the mistake (I still get depression anytime Archeage is mentioned...) 3. Blue Protocol - I'm a sucker for anime style games, pls don't judge 4. Throne & Liberty - tbh I don't know too much about it, never fallowed any info, but looks cool? Honorable mention - Crimson Desert, but I don't count it as MMO and placing it here only bc you showed it xd
I was a tester for Mad World - Age of Darkness and found myself hooked all throughout. I was so immersed in the stories for the main/side quests to the point I actually felt a sense of urgency at times. The worlds atmosphere was DARK and didn't shy away from dark themes and topics which pleasantly surprised me. I'm hoping they didn't censor/remove this part of the game for release though.
The upcoming MMO I'm most excited for isn't even in this video. It's an old school type of MMO currently in development called Monsters & Memories. Definitely worth looking into!
Looking forward to ashes and riot's mmo. But most of all Palia, I hope it turns out amazing for something a bit more chill to play with friends/family.
Hi there! I played in the Wayfinder early closed beta! I can't say too much since I'm under NDA but it's an MMO made by DE (Warframe) and Airship Syndicate (Ruined King/Darksiders Genesis) with a heavy emphasis on dungeon crawling with randomized tiles and character building similar to paladins or Torchlight! It plays like a really fast paced soulslike! Wish everyone the best when first trying it!
Glad to see you put Star Citizen on your list. As a long time backer and player I can say that it's come a long way over the last few years. 4.0 and the release of the 2nd star system, Pyro, will elevate the game to the next level, but we're at least another year to year and half away (or more :
funny how streamers are the quickest to forget these things instead of informing the public that it is not likely good games will come from these companies
No matter how many MMORPGs are launched in 2023, none will have ALL of the following: 1- Zero P2W 2- Modern feel with old-school systems 3- Long term Most games will be P2W. The ones which aren't P2W, probably won't itch most of our (25+ gamers) needs. Lastly, probably almost none of the games will last for long enough without declining (3 years+ would already be a lot).
Ashes of Creation is the one i'm most looking forward to. Can't wait for Alpha 2, since i won a key during their Extra Life 24+ hour stream. I enjoy Star Citizen off and on, but do have my doubts about it ever really actually being a finished title. It's playable and there are some gameplay loops, with another one coming in 3.18 so its worth the price of admission, as long as you know it's not a finished game.
I am curious since you are a fellow citizen,🫡 btw, what about AoC are you looking forward to? To me as far as arts style, combat, weather, animations go Throne & Liberty has it beat handily and they are both on UE5, so tech will be similar, I guess I am just disappointed with AoC and other than the node building and politics, I can't see anything that really separates it 🤷🏾♂️

I really like the art style, both environments and characters/NPC models etc. I guess i'm just looking forward to a new world to immerse myself in. Based on all the info available, it really looks like it has a lot of the best aspects of past MMOs. There are so many systems at work, that if they pull off even half of them "well" it should be a great game to get lost in for hours every day. Since for me, gaming is the way i deal with my chronic pain.

@@OD-Zee Yeah, SC and Ashes are probably the two most ambitious MMOs ever attempted thus far. I play SC as well, off and on. Sometimes it feels like CR and CIG are trying to do too many things, and it might never be fully realized. That being said, it's a very enjoyable game even in its current alpha state, and i am more than satisfied with the time and enjoyment i've gotten out of the money i've spent (generally how i measure a game for myself, was the time/fun worth the amount of money)
@@Furblesnert for me Ashes is just an evolution of mechanics and systems if we are being honest, like Archage was with adding ship combat and gliding, Star Citizen, as I see it is the true ambition the true revolution in gaming if they can pull it off, like seamless transitions, actual planets, will end up with orbits, etc. And I am glad that CR and CIG are aiming for the moon. I have been disappointed by so many mediocre games from established studios lately, that I am just glad that Star Citizen is at least trying something vastly different. But for traditional MMOs like AoC, if the combat sucks, which unfortunately it looks like now, I will end up skipping it as you do combat the most in games and if it doesn't feel good or impactful and looks terrible, as it does atm unfortunately, then I will be skipping it.

there are a few there i am super hyped for. I am looking forward to AoC, i currently play Star citizen as my main game and am looking forward to seeing how it progresses with the server meshing this year, 2023 will be an important year for it as its the tech that determines how possible the whole thing is. Its also the tech that opens the game up to a lot more players, so more cost for CIG and this is where the game really moves into a more 'live' state.
I am with you on Star Citizen, but I am skeptical af about AoC. It looks clunky and the art style seems so generic to me, even after the update to UE5. I am more looking forward to T&L and Archage 2, even though I know I will drop those Korean games as soon as normal gameplay cannot compete with p2w or p2c

I used to play DAoC with my cousin. He supported the Camelot Unchained Kickstarter at the time, while I missed it. Since he bought into the Kickstarter, he's moved to a different continent, got married, and has two kids. As a huge fan of DAoC PvP/RvR, I'd love to see the game released, but won't have anyone to play it with by the time it does xD edit: Thinking about it, I might be able to introduce his kids to their first MMO. They should be old enough to enjoy the game by the time it does release...
@@129das Yeah, probably a mix of development hell and overambition. DAoC was fairly basic in several aspects, but Pvp was terrific. It'd be nice if they focused on that instead of a custom engine and fancy graphics and side content. Guess we'll see...
Looking forward to AoC the most, and what I want to at least try is - Riot mmo, Blue Protocol, T&L, Madworld, AA2, Corepunk... and for semi multiplayer Poe2 and diablo 4 - it is a must... + I liked the gameplay from The First Descendant which you have not mentioned here.

My problem with Horizon mmo is that it isn’t being developed by Guerrilla, the main developers. It is being developed by a developer in China with a bad reputation for how they handle their games
I don't know if anyone remembers the mmorpg game where the trailer was gameplay of a viking looking girl fighting a huge boss with a sword, she was pretty armored up, but the cool part was that the game had the difficulty of dark souls combat while being an mmo still. The monster got its leg/arm cut off but continued to fight. It 'looked' like the style of dark souls in terms of art but I have no idea where that video went or the name of the game.

i think you couldve added a bit more information about Star Citizen, they have a huge Road map which illustrates what's to come and when its approximately expected. It's expected to have another system at the end of the year! ive been playing it pretty much every day for the past 2 months now, although not perfect, its a good game to get fun out of! they have much more complicated systems that other games simply do not use, hence why it takes so long ... sadly :c
I'm looking forward for this ones in terms on when they are going to release: TL (Throne and Liberty) > Blue Protocol > Riot MMO > Archeage 2... Some of the rest could be cool but will definetly will wait for their release. And for Ashes, it would be top list with TL but it's a sub game and i already spent much with WoW back in time that I'm not doing it again.
a cool f2p co-op third person looter shooter coming out in 2022 where can you see other people wandering around is "The First Decendant". Peon missed it in this video but it the beta was a few months ago and visually & gameplay wise it played amazing. It's like Anthem but with an actual Design vision. Def recommend keeping an eye on that one too!

star citizen in terms of visual fidelity and scale combined is way ahead of its time.
If a person goes into Star Citizen as a sci-fi life simulator/community rather than a game to beat or win it's fun. I think too many people want a game to play and win so they're mad at how long it's taking.

I'm going to have to see if Blue Protocol is enough to keep me tided over until AoC finally comes out. I'm probably overly-pessimistic but it seems like AoC is also on the 2025 and later list imo.
The Riot MMO looks interesting, but its release and timetable put it around AoC right now so its taking second at the moment.
Blue Protocol is the one I'm most looking forward to actually playing this year. The Riot MMO has so much potential but we've seen absolutely nothing of it so I'm trying to not even think about it yet... But for now I'll be sticking with FFXIV and ESO for my MMO needs.
Just so you're aware : Hytale was only suggested a possible testing phase in 2023, not to release, and even the testing phase was not set in stone.

I don't remember the devs announcing a playtest. They did confirm that release would possibly be in 2023 AT THE EARLIEST, to say after that that we probably shouldn't even expect anything in 2023.
Also Peon is describing it as an mmo while in reality it will mostly be a sandbox rpg game with multiplayer features.

I'm really excited to see what Riot does with their MMO, but I am also looking forward to trying out Palia and Wayfinder. Really happy that the upcoming MMO's are diverse and unique, rather than them all trying to be the next WoW.

Maann, Archeage is my favorite MMO of all time. Like I put 7000 hours in unchained in a year unironically. I have very little hope for AA2. It's going to be a pay2win mess.

I was excited for Pantheon, as a big EverQuest fan, but I've lost faith in the dev team at how slow they're going, and how small the team is.
Blue Protocol is top of the list at the moment.
Glad there is at least one who cares somewhat about Pantheon but yeah I guess I will try Blue Protocol in 2023 if nothing else to improve my Japanese since it is Nameco Bandai game.
If Throne & Liberty will be at least 50% of the L2 quality then for sure this game will be the best game release in the last 10 .
LT won't be an OW-PVP game, you wont be able to declare war on some other clan & fight with them out in the open world & also it won't have a PK/Karma system, in short it will be nothing like Lineage II, not in the slightest, it will be mostly a PVE (carebear) game with some PVP events on specific areas were people will be able to choose if they want to participate, that's it.
I unironically love these “sexy” Korean MMOs. They’re the modern equivalent to the DoA games. I just wish there was one that wasn’t P2W.

You Can build anywhere and people Can Destroy your buildings If you do not keep repairing once every 2 days (more for guild buildings, and it's pretty cheap to repair)

Pantheon Rise of the Fallen has just hastened their PA sessions to one every month, the most frequent testing to date. If you watch Cohh Carnage's latest video on Pantheon you can see the good progress especially regarding networking. I personally expect Alpha in 2023.

A correction on the riot mmo, for business model you put a question mark but riot games has a very distinct business model and that is to make every game free to play while having only cosmetic microtransactions, this is completely across the board and the riot mmo will be no different.

@@indios2 my primarily games over the years have been league , Overwatch and valorant and I think riot is really overhyped the content they provide are average at best really not so innovative but nonetheless their mmo might be just decent as well but the hype is crazy tho but I have to say they really appealed to the masses through their Netflix series which was really good

I also have no doubt it will release "incomplete" compared to all the insane stuff planned for the game, but still be a beast compared to all the other games out there.
Because already now it's an insane experience with a big player base, and that's with all the stuff missing and all the bugs and problems, so I think it's only reasonable to assume the more things get added and the more problems get fixed, the bigger the player base will get and the more awesome it will be.

Eh, you have your info twisted. Squadron 42 will release within the next 2 years, but Star Citizen will take at least 4 to 6 years. The devs just have to get SQ42 out the door to free the vast majority of devs to focus on Star Citizen exclusively.
Yeah no... When the game focuses on how many pieces blow off your ship when hit, it's pretty clear they're just developing a simulator with no actual content for longevity.

Appreciate the effort put into making this video buddy. We (like yourself) are waiting on AoC to release, however having a video like this gives our guild of 600 an idea of what they can play until then.
We've got five rosters across WoW Classic, Albion Online, Foxhole, New World and those who are just waiting for AoC. Content like this helps.

So far every dedicated player I've seen commenting mentions the game isn't going in the direction they started off with. Not to mention it feels like that game where everyone will just put their hopes and dreams that every other mmo doesn't have, and somehow this studio will be able to create the unimaginable.

I'm most looking forward to Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen. I know it won't be out for a few years but I am patient and I really enjoy the community that has grown up around this game. My plan is to buy into the beta when it is ready. Until then my wallet remains tightly closed. "Shroud of the Avatar" has made me reluctant to buy games that aren't at least mostly complete/playable.
Besides that, Ashes might be fun. I'm not a primary PvPer so I have my doubts about open world PvP. Losing your stuff is a good way to make people rage quit.
Ashes Of Creation is my big hope aswell! The leap to UE5 seems to have had a pretty decent impact on the progress in 2022. Im excited to see more Dev. updates, and possibly A2 in 2023.

Okay, so my most anticipated ones would be:
1. Ashes of Creation / RIOT - the big boys and not a surprise to be fighting for 1st place.
2. Archeage 2 - oh boy... I have some "hope" towards it, that they will realize how much they f up with Archeage and will not repeat the mistake (I still get depression anytime Archeage is mentioned...)
3. Blue Protocol - I'm a sucker for anime style games, pls don't judge
4. Throne & Liberty - tbh I don't know too much about it, never fallowed any info, but looks cool?

I was a tester for Mad World - Age of Darkness and found myself hooked all throughout. I was so immersed in the stories for the main/side quests to the point I actually felt a sense of urgency at times. The worlds atmosphere was DARK and didn't shy away from dark themes and topics which pleasantly surprised me. I'm hoping they didn't censor/remove this part of the game for release though.
I bought bezos' new world. Pretty good ngl. Although missing mounts, still pretty fun

Hi there! I played in the Wayfinder early closed beta! I can't say too much since I'm under NDA but it's an MMO made by DE (Warframe) and Airship Syndicate (Ruined King/Darksiders Genesis) with a heavy emphasis on dungeon crawling with randomized tiles and character building similar to paladins or Torchlight! It plays like a really fast paced soulslike! Wish everyone the best when first trying it!

No matter how many MMORPGs are launched in 2023, none will have ALL of the following:
1- Zero P2W
2- Modern feel with old-school systems
3- Long term
Most games will be P2W. The ones which aren't P2W, probably won't itch most of our (25+ gamers) needs. Lastly, probably almost none of the games will last for long enough without declining (3 years+ would already be a lot).
Ashes of Creation is the one i'm most looking forward to. Can't wait for Alpha 2, since i won a key during their Extra Life 24+ hour stream.
I enjoy Star Citizen off and on, but do have my doubts about it ever really actually being a finished title. It's playable and there are some gameplay loops, with another one coming in 3.18 so its worth the price of admission, as long as you know it's not a finished game.

To me as far as arts style, combat, weather, animations go Throne & Liberty has it beat handily and they are both on UE5, so tech will be similar, I guess I am just disappointed with AoC and other than the node building and politics, I can't see anything that really separates it 🤷🏾♂️

I really like the art style, both environments and characters/NPC models etc. I guess i'm just looking forward to a new world to immerse myself in. Based on all the info available, it really looks like it has a lot of the best aspects of past MMOs. There are so many systems at work, that if they pull off even half of them "well" it should be a great game to get lost in for hours every day. Since for me, gaming is the way i deal with my chronic pain.

@@OD-Zee Yeah, SC and Ashes are probably the two most ambitious MMOs ever attempted thus far. I play SC as well, off and on. Sometimes it feels like CR and CIG are trying to do too many things, and it might never be fully realized. That being said, it's a very enjoyable game even in its current alpha state, and i am more than satisfied with the time and enjoyment i've gotten out of the money i've spent (generally how i measure a game for myself, was the time/fun worth the amount of money)
@@Furblesnert for me Ashes is just an evolution of mechanics and systems if we are being honest, like Archage was with adding ship combat and gliding, Star Citizen, as I see it is the true ambition the true revolution in gaming if they can pull it off, like seamless transitions, actual planets, will end up with orbits, etc. And I am glad that CR and CIG are aiming for the moon. I have been disappointed by so many mediocre games from established studios lately, that I am just glad that Star Citizen is at least trying something vastly different.
But for traditional MMOs like AoC, if the combat sucks, which unfortunately it looks like now, I will end up skipping it as you do combat the most in games and if it doesn't feel good or impactful and looks terrible, as it does atm unfortunately, then I will be skipping it.

there are a few there i am super hyped for. I am looking forward to AoC, i currently play Star citizen as my main game and am looking forward to seeing how it progresses with the server meshing this year, 2023 will be an important year for it as its the tech that determines how possible the whole thing is. Its also the tech that opens the game up to a lot more players, so more cost for CIG and this is where the game really moves into a more 'live' state.
I am with you on Star Citizen, but I am skeptical af about AoC. It looks clunky and the art style seems so generic to me, even after the update to UE5. I am more looking forward to T&L and Archage 2, even though I know I will drop those Korean games as soon as normal gameplay cannot compete with p2w or p2c
Oh and the combat style in AoC, looks terrible too, similar to that in New World. Pity.

I always got burnt out by the grind to end game, I've been hoping someone would make a game that makes the journey fun and interesting.i think this will be it..

I used to play DAoC with my cousin. He supported the Camelot Unchained Kickstarter at the time, while I missed it. Since he bought into the Kickstarter, he's moved to a different continent, got married, and has two kids. As a huge fan of DAoC PvP/RvR, I'd love to see the game released, but won't have anyone to play it with by the time it does xD
edit: Thinking about it, I might be able to introduce his kids to their first MMO. They should be old enough to enjoy the game by the time it does release...

@@129das Yeah, probably a mix of development hell and overambition. DAoC was fairly basic in several aspects, but Pvp was terrific. It'd be nice if they focused on that instead of a custom engine and fancy graphics and side content. Guess we'll see...

My problem with Horizon mmo is that it isn’t being developed by Guerrilla, the main developers. It is being developed by a developer in China with a bad reputation for how they handle their games

I don't know if anyone remembers the mmorpg game where the trailer was gameplay of a viking looking girl fighting a huge boss with a sword, she was pretty armored up, but the cool part was that the game had the difficulty of dark souls combat while being an mmo still. The monster got its leg/arm cut off but continued to fight. It 'looked' like the style of dark souls in terms of art but I have no idea where that video went or the name of the game.

i think you couldve added a bit more information about Star Citizen, they have a huge Road map which illustrates what's to come and when its approximately expected. It's expected to have another system at the end of the year!

Some of the rest could be cool but will definetly will wait for their release. And for Ashes, it would be top list with TL but it's a sub game and i already spent much with WoW back in time that I'm not doing it again.
a cool f2p co-op third person looter shooter coming out in 2022 where can you see other people wandering around is "The First Decendant". Peon missed it in this video but it the beta was a few months ago and visually & gameplay wise it played amazing. It's like Anthem but with an actual Design vision. Def recommend keeping an eye on that one too!
