So, what do you reckon, everyone? Which of these brand names do I (and other Australians) say the worst? haha let me know in a comment below!
Also, did I miss any brands you'd like me to cover next time?
i love this video 😂, I’m Italian
You made me ( an Italian ) have a good laugh ☺️ thanks!
Hehe glad to hear it. Where're you from in Italy?
@@AussieEnglishPodcast Northern Italy, Piedmont 😊
Oh that is true
Lots of laughs, It's been such a funny video... I do love Aussie English channel!
Love It! Hi from Italy!
G'day, Giulia! Where're you from in Italy?
What a great video mate! You should collaborate with super holly !
I love this one ! 🤣😂👍🏼
Me, in my strongest French accent: “Italian brands that Italians, Americans and Aussies say wrong.” 😋
Hahaha. Which one was the weirdest, Laleh?
Is it serious ?
LMAO this video's hilarious mate. The way you correct them just makes it more hilarious. Kenoath
"Brands Italians pronounce wrong" LMAOO
@@tomagaming4945 Hahaha I did my best to troll them :D
@@AussieEnglishPodcast Good on ya matttteee
u do that bro thanks ✨✨
Cheers, Han! :D Hope you enjoyed the episode.
Really helpful video....I was really don't know the real pronunciation of "Ducati", Thanks Pete
Lol "real" as in how Aussies say it haha I think Italians would freak out
So funny 😂😂
5:33 you get the point! we don't put any emphasis pronouncing these brand names, like American always do trying to imitate some sort of Italian accent. (as u said at 5:50, bit stereotype)
In fact, listen how Luca is pronouncing these names very flat, without any particular pitch accent, and that's the right pronunciation of these names!
Yeah, I don't know where that came from. I wonder if it's American tv shows and movies where the English speakers must over-hear (not sure if that's a word) the emphasis that Italians put on syllables and the Americans over do it when imitating them
Hehe ferreiro rocher it was pretty funny
Hehehe
Ok next time I'll make a video saying "vegemite scrolls" ;-) nice channel Mate! Thanks for all the content! Alessandro from Italy
Hehe cheers, Alessandro! Where you from in Italy?
@@AussieEnglishPodcast Born and raised in ROME. I always watch and enjoy your videos since I visited Perth in 2017 and fell in love with everything that's Aussie. I think to be the only Vegemite customer in Rome, and believe me it's so hard to find ;-) You make me feel closer to your country with your videos, Onya Mate!
In regards to what you said at the end about the Spanish speaker & her attractiveness when she speaks Spanish instead of English, never have I been more aware of my Hispanic Accent since dating my Aussie boyfriend. Having lived all my life amongst spanish speakers, I never thought my accent was anything special.. but oh, man.. do you Aussie blokes LOVE your latin/hispanic women. ❤ Isn't your wife Brazilian? 😂
Haha you got me... Yeah, I think as humans we're attracted to what's different. Aussie accents do nothing for me. Have a French, Spanish, or Portuguese accent... dayamn!
@@AussieEnglishPodcast As someone with a hint of a south asian accent, I have mixed feelings about this response 🤣😂
@@SithijaWijesinghe Hahaha please go on
Especially the r sound, I can’t roll it. 😣
Dolce and *C*abbana if you accidentally got sold the knock off bahahah!
lmao im italian and im trying to learn the aussie accent and i've just found this video lol
"Ja-cooozie, mate" 🤣 I love our Aussie English dialect, but it's not exactly the most sophisticated at pronouncing European words 😂
Ok.. as a German I think I pronounce most words like the Italians.. But since I'm moving down under soon I have to learn the 'wrong' way of aussie English to blend in better 😂😂 because I think the German accent is the worst in English!! 🤣🤣
Haha you'll have to have two versions in your head then. This does my head in all the time with Portuguese (Brazilian) and brands. Sometimes they use the 'English' version of pronunciation, sometimes they definitely do not use it haha
@@AussieEnglishPodcast yeah... we Brazilians are like that, don't ask me why, because I don't know.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😂
Oh Nutella is Italian?! 🤔 Well I've always thought it's US. I'm off to Google that. 😂
Haha I know. Mind blown...
Thank you Italy! :D
🤣🤣🤣
Hehehe did you know all these brands, Francis?
@@AussieEnglishPodcast 14/19 haha
Lets pranews Sam naems
Carozzi
Luchetti
Tresmontes
Zuko
Matarazzo
DeBlasio
Hehe are these French? :P
@@AussieEnglishPodcast no,are non italian italian sounding brands
Carozzi is chilean and Chile is the biggest spaghetti maker
Mate, all of these brands are italian, I guess (I swear...🤣) you're joking
maybe we are getting it wrong
Moschino = Mosquito
lol wait what, you pronounce that as mosquito?!
Sorry, but your Italian pronunciations are the Aussie versions! Aussies will know what you mean but the Italian pronunciations are correct as Italians say them in Italy. My family is Italian.
So you are trying to say that YOU, not an entaire country knows how to pronounce THEIR OWN language... and that Italy and all the other latin speaking countries should adapt according to YOUR pronunciation???? I am missing something?
That was the ironic joke I was making. Yes. lol
@@AussieEnglishPodcast thank God you clarified, I had to stop the video after you missed how to say Guggi.. LOL... keep going mate.. The Aussie part is good...
@@ademirgabardo6843 lol will do :P Always assume an Aussie is joking before you get mad at him :D
Italians will always get mad first, reason later.. that's how latin blood works.
@@ademirgabardo6843 hahahaha I'll try to remember that haha
Its not a ducati is a Moto Guzzi.... aussies say MotO guZ zi, unless a person ride this Italian brand of motorcycle it is said more like mot oe GooT Si
