If you want a third Ethiopian place to check out (haha), Awash in Cobble Hill is really good. When I ate there, their platter presentation was more like Bunna Cafe. Craving Ethiopian right now!

My hubby's a car guy..he said you may just need to change the MAF sensor which could be why the check engine comes on sporadically.

Also, might be your gas cap. I got a similar error on my forester and the gas cap wasn't sealing sometimes.

I'm a vegetarian from Asheville, NC and there is an amazing Ethiopian restaurant near me called Addissae that I enjoy a lot. I like eating vegan foods as well. I love watching your videos and I hope to visit Brooklyn one day!

I've had Ethiopian food once. I can do it all except the bread. If it was pita type... not a fan of the flat sponge. Pickled my first beets last month. So yum! And my check engine light went on yesterday and I am so cranky. Grrrrrrr

Their fasolia (string beans) was so good. I could eat it all day.
Hard to tell but Possible you have a air leak in the valve cover or the mass air flow sensor could be dirty and or unresponsive

I used to drive a mini too, sometimes I would get the car checked and then have them reset the system, maybe ask about that next time.
Have you tried Delice & Sarrasin in Greenwich? It is a 100% vegan French restaurant. the food is A1 bro plus it is in a charming little space and is owned by a cute little french family :) would love to see a video about this place

I get an light on my Saturn all the time for engine and it’s bc the gas cap seal is bad replaced it and stupid light stopped coming on. Could be something as silly as a loose hose or connector. If it’s just a light and not riding rough at all that’d be my suspicion if it’s riding rough it never hurts to take it to someone else to hook it up to see what the diagnosing code is and if they know what else might be causing it sometimes it’s silly things

You might need a new gas cap. That happened to me too they did every possible test. I replaced the gas cap and it was fixed

Does the code come on after you fill your gas tank? It might be your gas cap not fitting correctly.

Hey Rebecca, for you code on the mini, look at the plug that plugs into the mass air flow sensor and make sure it’s not damaged sound like a wiring issue caused from corrosion, but I would like to ask is what have you had done to the car recently?
Haha more like what have I NOT done to the car recently. I already got a new Mass airflow sensor, recently got a new alternator and battery, and new brakes and shocks.
@@bodegacatx sounds like the mileage is getting up there but if that’s what you’ve only done to the car than and it’s over 10 years in age that’s not that bad. There are many horror stories of Mini’s giving there owners heartache and trouble but the issues usually start from new. Hopefully the mass air sensor works and gets rid of your check engine light
@@mssv2005 Oh yes, he's getting up there in age and I know the stories haha. But I think hes not doing too bad tbh. I just have to remember to top off the oil every few weeks.
