Dude I love the blob eye I had a silver one and it was a tank and I loved it It was the car I learned on the most I did my own brakes, oil changes, basic electronic diy , all the way up to pulling the engine to replace with a better working one lol

Good to see a trained mechanic still gets his hands covered in oil removing the sump plug and filter on a lift. Makes us home guys crawling around in the dirt feel a bit better about the mess we made.

I'm truly amazed you were able to compress King lift springs enough to mount them, with those small screw type spring compressors. I feel like I'm gonna die when I use those, assuming they even have enough travel to work. I ended up getting a clamshell style spring compressor just so I did feel like my life was at risk. Cheaper than the wall-mount ones at least!
Looks good, everyone loves a lifted Subaru!

I like to use a Long Drive Pin Punch Set to do the removal but especially the install of Subaru shifter knuckles or any roll pin. Choose a punch that has a smaller OD than the ID of the roll pin you are installing. The punch centers the roll pin while the square shoulder acts as a great press tool. Thanks for the great content Benny!

I hope the lowered control arm corrects the CV joint alignment. I did a similar mod but used an ultra eccentric lobe bolt to get the alignment right, and that thing just consumed front CVs

Iirc, Foresters come with front subframe spacers that push the control arm mounts closer to the ground. If you add these it'll help correct the positive camber. Camber bolts alone may not have enough adjustment.

Last time i saw a car look like that on it’s wheels, i was a trainee at a VW Audi franchise in the 80s & an old Beetle came in for brakes & when you lift them the wheels drop down & inwards, once you drive them they go back to where they were before.

speaking of sloppy shifter... there 2 major part of the bushing...
1 is the one that u replaced
another 1 is inside the shift boot (access from the cabin)
just make sure both of them in good condition and the shift throw will be perfect and never need a quickshifter for a subaru...
its already have quite short throw...
the front forester subframe spacer and transmission spacer is great addition... there is no need to have forester steering column... u just need the forester steering knuckle (its about 10mm longer) but without that u can still stretch the impreza steering knuckle a bit and drive perfectly safe

Just a comment on the shifter bushing knuckle - if you have a pre GRB (GD chassis) STI, it's a hard damn time finding the correct bushings in my experience. And a knuckle is just mega bucks, cos STI. I found in my S401 the easiest solution was to measure, then I sent them off to a guy in Australia who makes them out of delrin. Best $80 I spent on that car!
TL,DR - STI's are bastards to find parts for (especially the old ones), cos no complete parts catalogues.

    Any suggestions?
Whats your opinion on buying from tyresales.com.au they have the Goodride All Terrains for $130 a piece.
Have u heard of that brand...
Otherwise according to my search efforts I can only find Pirelli Scorpion ATR in the 205/60 R16 which I'm assuming their costly being Pirell.
