Awesome set of videos and craftsmanship! So useful for learning all the techniques for scratch building DLGs. Many thanks for the time and effort to produce them!👍
Looking very nice, and flying well. Camera on pan servo is a real nice bonus. The signage at beginning is nice touch of humour. "Mount vertical, this side up". Fitting for a VTOL. (realize likely unplanned, just part of antenna guidance .. but it's in view as Ranger VTOL launches)
@@kousakunin2008 wow... that's incredible. I'm struggling getting each half on a Supergee2 wing below 60g. I'm guessing that I don't debulk enough. Anyway, really enjoy your videos and thank you for sharing your talent.👍😎
Great videos man! What is the transparent film, on which you have put carbon and applied resin? How did you put the stickers/ decals/ graphics/ paint to the wing? can you please create a video if possible?
UD stands for Unidirection and has carbon fiber in only one direction. UD increases the stifness of the wing span direction. CW39 has fibers woven in orthogonal directions. Place it in a bias to increase the stifness of the twisting direction.
I’m not sure about global distributer. I got it from the website below.(I guess not available for international shipping) shop.lab-cast.com/?pid=93479124
@@kousakunin2008 thank you for your reply. May I ask, how long have you been building scratch DLG's? You really know how to handle various materials . Awesome tutorials.
I built my first DLG in 2008. There are some skilled builders around me, we developed the method while exchanging information. I've made more than 40 DLGs already.

Amazing craftsmanship, very impressive. Respect!
I am definitely changing my techniques! Thank you! Subbed and belled.
Perfect work, videos I can learn a lot of them
how many g / m2 of carbon you use?
CN-models CW39, 39g/m2, however it's stronger than usual carbon.

thank you
Great video. What is that yellow tape you use for joing the wing akins to the core?
You can see it in the video bellow.

could you tell us the final weight of each wing half please. Thanks! ;)
Left wing; 47g, Right wing; 48g.
You can see it in the video below at 1:00.

Wing weight depends on the wing area.
Wing area of mine is 19dsqm, smaller than super gee.

@@kousakunin2008 Thanks so much for your reply!
I have one more question, where can I find the plans so that I can build this DLG?
nice video, can you telle something about that UD carbon? that is not the same as the cw39

Another excellent video and thanks. Were did you source the uni-directional tape? It looks very light.
