When I went to Florence, I thought it was such a boring city with nothing to do, especially when compared to Rome (it's the capital and has the Colosseum and is just pure Italian beauty) and Venice (what other city is predominantly canals and water? so beautiful and unique). I had no idea about the storied history and the Renaissance (I was just a kid back then). BUT, after having watched Medici and seeing what a beautiful city it is and all the history that is ingrained in every tile and cobblestone, I promised myself that when I do go back, I will take it all in because now, Florence might just be my favorite Italian city. Now your idea of listening to the theme song while roaming through the city will be added to my list of things to do when I do go back. Gosh how I love Italy! I will not take Florence for granted anymore. Have a good day!

Ned Stark himself, Mr Sean Bean will be joining the cast opposite his oldest cub from another wintery life, Richard Madden :() The bad news is that apparently Sean will be playing the new big bad of the season who looks to supplant Richard's Cosimo De Medici as the undisputed ruler of Florence. Civil War: House Stark-style??? Say it isn't so :(
I wonder if they could make a show about Francesco Sforza after this? Maybe call it Sforza: Masters of Milan. They could even get Richard Madden to star as Francesco Sforza since he was a lot more similar to Robb Stark than Cosimo in been a great military leader and strategist who won many great battles that mainly revolved around the city of Milan. Plus he took command of his father's Condottieri after he died at a young age and proved himself to be a great military commander and ruler.
I think that guy was the one who got fucked over the most. Yeah sure, he was a noble brat, but ironically he was the biggest victim of the Medici. His trust in making friends with the "lower class" got fucked over, his father got fucked over, his political power got fucked over and even when he was threatened with death, he was willing to take it like "a man", but even that death that he had accepted was fucked over.

Here in Italy this show broke every record of views and popular ratings, but it was simply destroyed by the press. I know that there are better TV shows made in Italy, but most of them are private productions (e.g. Gomorrah, 1992 & ss - in this one you can see Bianca again, btw ;D -, The young pope...). So, well... Masters of Florence isn't a perfect show; still, it's the first good show with more than 2 episodes that RAI has ever created until the end of 2016 (I think that only RAI's "Maltese", a crime show released in 2017 and set in the '70s, is better than MoF for directing and for the quality of the script) and that's simply a fact. ^^'

Season 1 was better than season 2. I did enjoy season 2 (especially the last 2 episodes!!, epic!) but it wasn’t season 1 - contessina really made it for me. If they’d kept the history (she died in 1473, 4 years after piero’s death but 5 years before the pazzi conspiracy) I would’ve been happier but season 2 was good nonetheless. (Prefer this theme though!)
The full version is more melancholic, I think. This version also has those "static" noises at the beginning, end and throughout the song. This version feels more powerful, upbeat and like you could taken on the whole world and fight and win it all.
