More than likely, Rachel wasn't even acting crazy since we were seeing everything through Anna's perspective, thus adding a sinister undertone to whatever she said, as well as amplifying any amount of irritation or annoyance to seem much more angry and aggressive.
And I can only imagine what was going through the cops mind when she said Alex is in danger like “oh she done lost her damn mind”

The Korean film “A Tale of Two Sisters” goes so much deeper in its twist. It has an extra twist! So good! And it’s a pretty emotional movie as well. So I’d highly recommend it!

To be fair though I’ve seen a movie with a similar premise where some chick has a serial killer follow her to her friends family’s house and she sees the killer murder everyone. Surprise, surprise it was her the whole time. Then I’ve also seen a tale of two sisters and I’ll say the twist with the original is somehow worse than the twist with this one.

@@zzavid5911 I would definitely recommend them but would suggest watching them at a slow paste I binged watched all of them in two days and felt like a train hit me.
This is such a quintessential late 2000's horror with a simple plot by the end of which it's revealed that it has been something else all along which I find a lot of horror films from that era loved to do.
I also recommend "Case 39" which is similar in tone. And it will also reaffirm your hatred for kids.

I was working at Blockbuster (RIP) when this DVD came out and the ending gagged everybody! I just love that even after the twists are done twisting it kind of takes you a minute to reevaluate what you've seen and realize that Elizabeth Banks's character was never like that at all, was probably super sweet, and we've just been treated to the ultimate unreliable narrator.

Anyways babes, if you need korean horror movies The Call, Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum, and Train to Busan are EVERYTHING.
The Call: A woman named Kim Soyeon moves into a house with a phone with which she is able to communicate with a woman living in the same house as her but 20 years earlier. This woman is being tortured by her mother and begs for help. Kim Soyeon uses information about the present day to help the woman escape her situation and prevent tragedies in her own life. I won’t spoil anything else but I promise you, the plot gets SPICY and MESSY (in a good way tho)
Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum: The crew of a horror web series go to an abandoned asylum to stream some ✨content✨ and encounter much more than they bargained for. It is terrifying but I had to watch since the Hot Cop from Squid Game is in it.
Train To Busan: A businessman and his daughter are on a train to the korean city of Busan with a bunch of passengers when a zombie gets on the train and begins to infect others. It’s one of the most creative ways I’ve seen zombies used, especially since it’s in Korea and there are no guns so they have to BRAWL with these zombies. The main character will have drool drippin from your mouth, it is a wild ride that will leave you emotionally TRAUMATIZED. After this movie I fell asleep crying and woke up, still crying.
Additionally, the korean zombie series KINGDOM is one of the best zombie themed series to ever be created! It’s set in medieval Korea so the fits and sets are BOMB, all the characters are HOT and INTELLIGENT, and the zombies are quick as FUCK. The plot is complex but so entertaining and beneath all the zombie shit there is also a gripping political plot.
Highly recommend Kingdom and Train to Busan (subtitled, of course) but any of these are a great pick and all of them will take a wrecking ball to your heart!

I really love your reviews! They make the darkest movies so fun to watch! But you know, I didn't really feel sorry about the dad in the end. His cheating is what caused Anna to snap and accidentally burn the wrong place. I'm not saying she was sane, she probably had psychopathic tendencies from an early age, but people's (especially your parents) actions can sometimes have unpredictable consequences.

Once you said it was based on "A Tale of Two Sisters," I knew where this was going. I saw that years ago and it still ranks pretty damn high on the psychologically fucked-o-meter. The main difference is how much more pointedly they ignore the "other sister," so it seems like child abuse or something. It's much more noticeable, to the point you ask yourself why these parents are being so mean to only one sister and almost seem afraid of the other one.
One of my favorite horror movies with a good twist. Great choice and amazing reaction as usual. Commentary on point. Thanks for reacting. The main character actress was the main character in Sucker Punch and was the young girl ghost in Ghost. Plus she was Violet in the Jim Carrey love action Series of Unfortunate Events. Keep up the funny quality content Zzavid. 😊

The uninvited is actually an american adaptation of a korean film called "A tale of two sisters", the two movies are a little different from each other because the korean version is psychological and paranormal kind of.

Was over at a friend and when I cycled home I realized you uploaded a new video. So I raced home as quickly as my sexy muscular legs allowed me, so now I can watch it! This was one of my first horror movies, so I love seeing someone else react to it in this day and age.
I love the American remake but the original one is also fantastic (with some interesting different turns here and there to still keep it fresh, even when you know the American plot twist).And, yes... Spoiler alert...
When you watch it a second time, it's actually the story about a stepmother fearing for her life. Anna was probably already very disturbed from the beginning. She was about to burn down her own house because her father cheated. And she probably pushed boyfriend off the cliff because he told her something she didn't want to hear.
I remember this movie when I was a kid, because I rented it to watch it with my mom but she never got time to watch it and we have to return it that day so I watched it alone. Years later she was watching it on TV and I kinda spoiled her the end, oops.

You should watch the original that rhis was remade from. It's called "A Tale of Two Sisters" and its a visual masterpiece. It's SOOOO GOOD

I remember seeing this in theaters with my friends and when I tell you I was obsessed with this damn movie-- I was OBSESSED.
That ending gave me whiplash, I rewatched for the first time in a long ass time and still loved every moment of this crazy ride. The original is also definitely worth watching!
