➤ Bruh Paragraph
I Made a Game for the GMTK game jam 2021. That's right, a Game Jam an event where Game dev from all over the world create video games using game development engines like Unity or Unreal or Godot to create a game in 24 HOURS or 48Hours
or 72 HOURS. My game was called Symbiotic and was a physics based shooter made in Unity with C# for the GMTK GMTK Game Jam 2021 Devlog. - Розваги

Looks really inventive, thanks for taking part!
no way it's gmtk, love your vids man
Yooo hi man great content btw
Very cool.
1000th like XD
yooooo the man himself!!
love your channel, and hope I can be part of a game jam one day.
Finally! A Co-op game I can play.
Too true
Haha same
LMAO actually laughed out loud
Some how I can relate to this situation
when you want to play co-op but you have no friends
smh just play with two controllers at the same time, one with your hands and one with your feet

Now this is what game jams are all about! Love the original mechanics & atmosphere, and I had a lot of fun playing it. I'd say you totally achieved your goal, great job dude!
Hello there!
Sam hogan alive?
What's up checkmark
Sam hogan!
Where have you been
“Then we just assign each interactable it’s own button and tell it to subscribe”
Maybe I am a button
The fact that you baked lights and got it to work well within a 48-hour game jam is a feat that I don't think any game devs could dare compete with...
What can I say? I'm a lights man
@@barj I heard "and I baked lighting" and im like no way he did that...
Hmmm yes I very developer and I love baking lights in oven I totally know what this means
@@LotlLabs hi yes i am game dev do you want to bake light
@@keysystem hmmm yes tasty light need bake
God so refreshing to see objet oriented programming used so effectively. Amazing use of the interactables and buttons. Stuff like this is what really inspires me as I start learning unity and game design
Why thank you kind person
Reject interactables, return to monobehaviour
Honestly this is the sort of game jam game where you could take the concept, polish it a bit, turn it into a full length game, and sell it
The game jam version is super cool already, I would pay for a full length version!
This Game looks fantastic. The decision to teleport instead of switching controller seems interesting to say the least :D
My favorite part of the video is where you took the criticisms, validated them, explained why they are valid, and how you would either keep it the way it is, or design it a little differently. This was a wonderful look into development and the feedback loop devs can use to improve their design based on feedback.
This comment was a much needed breath of fresh air. Thanks Deven. :)
The og way to play co-op by yourself is playing fireboy and watergirl by yourself as a kid.
wait it is a 2 player game lol i never know
@@erner_wisal Yeah it's a co op game
@@erner_wisal 2 player game that is entirely possible with 1 player -if you know what you're doing-
@@mechanicalmacbook i used to always play it byy self maybe thats why i can use wasd comfortably and not arrow key
You said so many times that "logic is subscribed to event" that I subscribed without knowing it.
when barji doesn’t know how to count
A really well-put-together video! The editing is great and your vocal quality is amazing as well! Keep it up!
If only there were more of Barji, then more people would take the fact that some people don't have anyone to play with into account when creating co-op games.
This looks great! I love the inspiration you took from portal, it really suits the theme well.
Nice job dude, the video was really good and the game looks great
i would really like a full game version of this
High quality game and high quality devlog. Can't believe I didn't discover this channel earlier
Ikr
Sick game! And your editing is amazing I’m jealous lol
Wow this is really good for 48 hours :) Good job amazing game :)
Thanks Barji, very cool!
Wow...This is actually enjoyable :)
Alternate title: Remaking Portal 2 Coop in under 48 hours
Not trying to be rude, love the vids
Very cool concept! Interesting idea! Amazing art style! It is good to know that I am not the only person using Brave.
This looks really cool! Reminds me visually of Portal with bow and arrow lol
looks pretty cool, I like the simple artstyle^^
Thank you :)
Thank you! So much. This is the most wonderful moment of my life.
That and the time I slept a whole day.
I always wanted to know the task manager everyone uses.
Its called trello
I think? ??
Oh my god!
You are such a good game dev!
The perfect co-op games for gamers without friends (What do you mean, I have friends, You just cant see them)
2k in 1 day gongrats
I love the idea and actually want to see a full game of it,
dude that reply to tweet was brilliant xD
Ayy nice one!
and all of the interactables which contain some logic which is subscribed to that button so for example take you as the interactable and use your logic to click the subscribe button on Barji's channel!
(that aside, great concept!)
I can beat we all entered panic mode when you asserted dominance
It looks great. Wish I played it when it was new but I'll play it now.
Your videos are so good
Also I have an idea for a video ‘I Played Your Games’ or I Played your favourite games’
This game has a vibeeee
Milkman
5:54 tell them all to subscribe... To Barji!
Surprised you slept. But everyone works differently. My best code comes out at 2am while I'm falling asleep.
Great concept, though!
Loved the video and the game looks sick. Got to see this early because I'm a *Barji Patreon* :lipbite:
Found a interesting bug, couldn't abuse it to speedrun the fourth level yet: Jump with one dude in the other dude and you can "fly" accross the "lava"
Saying subscribe the whole video really got me on a subconscious level.
Every game that is inspired by Portal looks amazing for some reason
Bc of the memories we associate w the style
Cool Game 👍
this be awsom
2:15 genius
When you are playing a Co-Op game but the other player leaves: the game
that was a bright 5 am god damn
oh boy time to BAKE SOME LIGHTS
great game
Nice devlog, idk when I should make mine
Les goo
barji: IF AND WHEN WE NEED THEM
me: hehe I get that joke.
Me reading the title: huh?
Me watching the first 10 seconds: oh!
4:49 big troll move)))
Great job and very interesting. I'd love to know how you got your video so out there, I really struggled to get mine any attention at all
I hope you win the challenge
Pog!
Imagine not making B E A N and making cylinder
He broke the rule 1 of the game development lol
smh
good game
saw it last night
this is basically me playing portal 2 co-op alone
The future of your game will be a bunch of speed runners finding any glitch they can to beat competition
well the game gives me karlson vibes
I think you mean *[K A R L S O N V I B E]*
@@truepenut8755 im so sorry man i did not mean to do this to everyone we are all going to die now just becus of me rip...
Nice
It’s the glitch game! :D
A really cool idea for a game, like honestly I love what you did with the theme, and the game just looks quite juicy, you nailed the portal style co-op/design imo.
(But seriously, can I have my girlfriend back, I haven't seen her since you took her, please)
@@barj Uh...fine. Can I atleast have someone in return?
@@GamesBySaul you can take the co-op part of this game :)

would be cool to make this a full game, maybe without the moving wall since that's kinda stressful.
Game sounds and looks good I like hard games. That's the games I grew up with hard-ass games
kinda giving karlson vibes from the thumbnail. Thats a good thing btw
We need more soul crushingly hard games. My thoughts, not hard enough! Can we make the wall speed scale with how quickly you finish the previous level, maybe based off of how much time you had remaining before the wall reached the end of the previous map.
This is so cool, reminds me of unraveled!
Thanks to you I now know what L key does in UA-cam player
crazy impressive that he said subscribe that many times and never told us to
That one moment when you have a 2 player game but forget that you never had friends
I see you also play back in reverse erasing the code to make it look like you're writing it on the spot haha
Also there seems to be a bug where when you switch players, the previous one keeps moving forwards (even when you fully stop before switching)
I like the Portal vibe though! :)
Fixed in latest update :) Thanks for the kind words
@@barj I'm looking forward to see what you'll do with my tutorials ;)
@@VictorGordan oh damn it’s you lmao! Yeah I’ve been watching a ton of your stuff recently there’s definitely something in the works
@@barj Good to know my tutorials are helpful! :)
Btw the bug seems to still be present as you can see in my speedrun: ua-cam.com/video/BLil1e81YXM/v-deo.html
Another bug (which sadly I was not able to exploit) is that if you switch right before picking up a bow, the other player will have that bow! This could be really useful in the second level by jumping on the isle with the bow and switching, but sadly if I try that red gets pushed forward due to the first bug I mentioned :/
Also the audio settings seems to be broken...
Had a lot of fun procrastinating my Physics Lab Report on this for a bit haha
@@VictorGordanI utterly failed with my patch lol, I put it together in 10 minutes. I’ll push one tomorrow with your bugs fixed :) thanks for playing lol
20k!!!
Oh hi barji!
This Legend said Muck
I saw DoTween. So it's really that good.
As someone who hasn't played the portal 2 coop because I need friends for that, this is really interesting
At first I thought that it would be a co-op game...without a second player, and you could use a bow to activate things that a second player would normally activate
When he lists a few game dev teams and lists Dani
i’ve been watching hours of unity coding tutorials how tf in 15 seconds you make me understand
KARLSON IS THAT YOU?!
This is just any lego game without friends
Reminds me of the time I beat portal 2 co-op by myself using two controllers
3:49 it’s 5:17
Him: *rounds to 5* oh it’s 5 am
This is basically how I played lego games
Haha this is like Rewind + Karlson but instead of rewinding two players.
When you realize lego games have been doing this for ages.
previous co-op games were high specification..
Finally, low specification co-op game
Game : uses tiles ( like bathroom tiles )
People : OMG!!!!1!1!1! KARLSON!!1!!13)8_$7
Check the old abandonware games: The Lost Vikings 1 & 2, it is all about player switching and helping the other. Later Zelda Four Swords did a similar thing.
Modern facility means modern Items, right? DAMN NO FRICKIN BOW
oh, so u are making karlson game :D
I like these game graphic its just simple
Ha, jokes on you, I didn't know what clicking L did like you said and ended up skipping what you said anyway.
