Brilliant video and so informative. Thank you so much for sharing, a lot of successful people don't share, they tell you about their succes but don't mention how they did it. Thank you.
Need to look into social housing.I’ve done long let’s for private landlords but need a better income so thinking of Airbnb didn’t thin about social housing but this may also be another avenue
500th subscriber! Do I get a gold bar for free now? eg the name of the council/housing association I want to work with to get the biggest rental yields 😂
It will depend on the type of contract you have, but the provider will should pay for that. At that point they would also be incentivised to change the tenant too.
Great video Jonny: Is packaging and selling on to an investor the best strategy and what is the standard sourcing fee? Also, do you keep any for yourself? Thanks
Glad you got some value from it. We normally charge between £2k - £3k per deal but it's very dependant on how many units an investor is acquiring, refurbishments and furnishing costs too. I genuinely think the vast majority of strategies out there are good and will be right & wrong depending on your situation. If you are new to property and / or you don't have any capital to invest yourself, I would start with gaining knowledge around your chosen strategy i.e. R2SH, BTL, FLIPS etc, and then raise investment from a third party investor.
The best advice I can give you is to go and search out yourself. One provider may pay preferential rates but their terms may not be what you want. So many variables.
@@jonnymarsden can you name one that’s providing rates that high, because I’ve spoken to so many social housing / supported living /temp Accomodation etc providers and they’re only offering maybe a little over market value, not £2500 on a 1 bed that’s market rent is £1000(which is how much citygate claim they’re being paid)
So helpful thank you!
@@AmieL-n6p you’re welcome!
Yes, definitely a video on contacting landlords directly would be hugely valuable!
You got it Ant, it’s coming 🙌🏼

@@matthewhurd1272, please would be nice 🤣 It’s up on my channel already btw
Hi, I didn't hear what you said before clearsprings and serco.
Hi Jonny, If the tenant deliberately damages the property constantly who pays for that?
It will depend on the type of contract you have, but the provider will should pay for that. At that point they would also be incentivised to change the tenant too.
Definitely want to get into this strategy
Let’s do it, set up a meeting and I can show you how 👌🏼
Brilliant.
Awesome, hope it helps you!

👍🏻Sound advice

As on your experience which social housing provides pay the best?
I’m looking for the Manchester area
The best advice I can give you is to go and search out yourself. One provider may pay preferential rates but their terms may not be what you want. So many variables.
Is 2024 still airbnb worthy ?
Not for me to say as I’ve never done it. I find social housing the most reliable, hands-free and scalable though.
Great video. Where can I get a lease please
Hey, glad you liked it! You should be able to get a lease written up from a solicitor here in the UK 👌🏼
Tectone?
Urm… sure?
Are companies like citygate and social housing group legit? Where do they find providers that are paying them so highly ?
Hey Hassan - these companies are legitimate yes, they’re just like us to be honest! We work with the same providers 👌🏼
@@jonnymarsden what providers are these? And they’re paying you £1000-£1500 per month above the market rent?
@@hassanamir387 so many different providers across the country there’s too many to name. It also depends on the type of property and postcode.
