NASA's King Air, tail number 529, banks sharply during a mission

- During an atmospheric research mission using the GEOTASO and GCAS spectrometers, the King Air banks sharply at 50 degrees between raster scans over the Richmond-Petersburg, Va. vicinity. As a comparison, commercial airlines provide a much gentler bank of 25 to 30 degrees. You can see a good view of the ground from 28,000 feet before the King Air levels off.
