After completing sorties to support the East Coast Ocean Acidification study, GEOTASO is removed from the King Air B200, tail number 529, on July 16, 2015 using a NASA Langley fork lift. We can see Matt Kowalewski, Scott Sims, Craig Cleckner, Mike Bassnet, and Sam Xiong. Video by Kent McCullough.

During an atmospheric research mission using the GEOTASO and GCAS spectrometers, the King Air banks sharply at 50 degrees between raster scans over the Richmond-Petersburg, Va. vicinity. As a comparison, commercial airlines provide a much gentler bank of 25 to 30 degrees. You can see a good view of the ground from 28,000 feet before the King Air levels off.
