The arguments in favor of this design is really sad. The entire point of cortana in the games is that she was, and looked like, a machine. A small blue figure with code running through her. But she was the most human character in the whole series, which was pivotal Chiefs development. Making her look and feel like a human is the most ass-backwards decision they could've made. REGARDLESS of whether or not this is separate from canon.
It might as well be a different character if you're gonna use that other universe excuse. In which case, why have cortana at all?
Damn, didn't make it to the community shoutouts now that the official Halo monthly blogs doesn't seem to be made anymore. Oh well.

For me, at least, Infinite is highly flawed, but a step in the right direction after Halo 5.
@@goob8945 the terrible multiplayer and tactics. Also, with how bad the Halo 5 story went, Halo infinite can in no way recover it. Master chiefs story ended after halo 3 for me.
That’s unfortunate…I never played halo games for the multiplayer, so I guess I don’t get people wanting to leave over that. Multiplayer FPS bores me in about ten seconds.
I thought the story was honestly okay. The voice acting was epic as. They did a good job giving Chief some conflict and emotion without making him a sniveling baby. The Weapon is an interesting foil for Cortana. While I think they definitely left a bunch of plot holes, my guess is that these are intentional so that there is backstory to fill in with upcoming DLC/titles.

The show looks like shit. Cortana looks like shit. Woke garbage. I was this close to getting Paramount+ just for this.
Infinite isn't perfect but I'm enjoying it. I just hit 100 on the battle pass yesterday and it was a fun ride the whole way. I genuinely hope the future bodes well for this game.
