Ngau hung Tay Nguyen - Improvisation on a tune of Central Highlands

This piece is based on scale and mode from the Central Highlands of Vietnam. In it the guitar imitates various timbres and articulations of ethnic Highlands instruments such as the T’rung, Klongput, Cong, Chieng. The piece creates a soundscape of the primitive Highlands, with their birdsong, forest echoes, dances and festivities.
