I'm a brass player and I usually don't like woodwinds that much, especially saxes (bc c'mon you're sooo close to a brass intrument, might as well switch: ;) ) but wow I listened this 'till the end with joy. Such beautiful colors!!

Next Eb clarinet, Bb clarinet, Alto clarinet and bass clarinet. Or bass and contra. And then Picc , flute, alto flute and bass flute. AND THEN Piccolo trumpet , 2 trumpets or 1 Bb and a Eb and bass trumpet. .....so on.
So basically if the soprano saxophone player was a clarinet player, no one would notice the difference- Everyone can agree that a soprano sax is just a clarinet with saxophone fingerings
That was comical giving the piccolo solo to the bari.

Totally was expecting the piccolo part to go in the soprano but was pleasantly surprised with the bari
I'm an alto player and by the alto sax performance I can tell he had pride and glory playing his part.
