I have been attacked on TikTok for days for celebrating the lives that have been saved in Texas since they brought in their HeartBeat law. Over 26 years ago I was a 17 year old and pregnant, I went to the abortion clinic near me. I obviously wasn’t a believer but my conscience knew it was wrong. By Gods Providence that day I didn’t kill my child. Fast forward and that beautiful child in me is now 26 years old and just made me a grandmother. I praise God for bestowing common grace on me back then and later granting me salvation.
I never had a hard time understanding the doctrine of depravity because I knew how wicked I was that I was willing to kill my own child. I praise God HE saved me and gave me eyes to see the truth of HIS gospel.

I talked the mother of my eldest daughter to not abort her.
I went with her to the clinic and they told her that she was too far along, but that there was another clinic that would do it.

All they can do is call someone names (e.g., bigot, homophobic, racist, etc.) or use foul language in a vain attempt and last ditch effort to win the debate. Yelling, loudness, profanity, name calling, etc. does not make your arguments stronger, does not make your arguments correct, does not make your arguments more persuasive, nor does it make your arguments more likely to be considered by others. Those tactics are designed to end the conversation and the debate because the arguments presented cannot stand scrutiny and there are no more arguments to make. Those tactics end the civility found in having a two sided conversation.

I haven’t watched the video recently but in general this preacher cares a lot about being right and winning an argument by trumping people than anything else. Just listen to the conversation, things can easily take a different turn and I have seen patient Christian brothers speak to highly liberal people in a calm manner. It’s not always possible to keep the peace but there are wise ways to deal with situations. We are told to have speech seasoned with salt and that doesn’t mean to be salty by today’s standards 😂

I also struggle with remaining calm, but I've found that the more I rely on the scriptures to shape my thoughts and values, the less emotionally charged I feel during these types of interactions. If we lean on the scriptures for guidance, then it is easier to distance ourselves from our ego and pride, which is typically the catalyst for getting upset in the first place.
If we speak from our own personal opinions, pride, etc., then of course we get upset when those views are challenged, but if we speak from the Holy Spirit and share God's Word, then it is God's Word that is being challenged, and not our own.
It doesn't mean we can remain calm all the time, but I think you will find the more you grasp for God's Word during these interactions, the less upset you will feel, and then your feelings will shift towards understanding and compassion for your argumentative opponents, which will naturally defuse some of the tension you might be feeling.
Notice how he stays calm, doesnt resort to name calling, doesn't interrupt, and doesn't swear once, yet those two he is talking to do ALL of those things from beginning to end

Using Godly wisdom is important especially in these types of situations. I would be very cautious and sensitive to what the Spirit of the Lord is meaning and saying in any given situation according to scripture.

As a Christian man I have such a hard time loving people like this even though we're commanded to love our neighbors. I try to love but then I see videos like this and see the man with the mask and the woman and hear their Godless arguments and it not only hurts my soul but makes me so mad. I guess all we can do is pray for them and just work on ourselves

At a young age of 15 I was pregnant. When my mom found out she told me that I had to leave my family and go to another state or have an abortion.
Of course I didn't want to leave my life so I chose abortion. It was the worst decision I made. It effected me long term. I never did such a thing again and it will always stay heavy on my heart.
Looking at my living children, I will always remember the child I didn't have.
Hopefully I can help others realize that it does bring a curse upon a women when they do such a thing. It does not matter if your young, poor, or just don't want the baby. There are other choices to make like adoption. My mother left out that choice for me and supported a evil sin.
We all do have a choice but it should never be to kill another human being so one can be free from the consequences or responsibilities of being a mom.
Praise God for your patience, and your love for standing up for the babies that can't speak for themselves.

Home schooled kids may have been sheltered at one time but those days are long gone. Home schooling is so great and kids meet up with other home schoolers all the time! They are not sheltered anymore and get more education, life lessons, and social skills than most kids in public school today!

Pastor Jeff is so right, so truthful, so loving, so full of Holy Ghost word. The lady and opossing man kept using horrible language (In front of children even!) and trying to win an argument not be truthful. They were not interested in talking, nor had a good standard of anything. Their only response was to INSULT and be VIOLENT. Listening to Pastor Jeff, I felt nothing but love and truth. And anybody who pretends to be a "person with a uterus" is one and can speak for all women. A man can "have a uterus" in his mind only, and that's somehow not a lie. Women are not "people with uteruses." Every cell in a woman's body is female. My friend had a hysterectomy, and she felt she wasn't a woman anymore, which is understandable because it's a gigantic loss, but I reminded her that, with or without a uterus, she was still 100% woman, that every inch of her is a woman.
The labels that reduce people to their sexuality are so insulting. It is mind-boggling to me that people love their sexual perversion so much that they wear it as an identity. The best way to learn to control your emotions when up against ideologues is to know what their arguments are going to be; because they always recite the same empty talking points. Knowing your opponent and how to refute their points means you're always ahead of the discourse and can't be provoked into an emotional response. When you have truth on your side, there is no need to be emotional because the truth is self evident and doesn't sway feelings.

I have to take breaks throughout this video. I don't understand how a person can literally talk nonstop and also claim that they are letting anyone else speak when that's not possible. Jeff is trying to have a discussion and this individual just absolutely refuses. At the same time he's demanding a discussion but just expects to do so while never shutting up. Jeff, you are amazing in your ability to stay patient, focused and unwavering in the gospel truth. I wouldnt be able to do it while someone is demanding and uncivil in forcing their twisted ideologies onto me.

I appreciate Pastor Jeff for doing what many of us Christians need to do more of. I used to be on the fence about abortion for many years, but now I see. God said “Thou shall not kill.” So plain and simple. My thing is this, if women don’t want to raise the child then send them up for adoption to parents who may not be able to have children. The alphabet gang wants everyone to go along to get along. How can they expect for people to accept them if they didn’t accept who God created them to be?
