LOVED this informal -type video. We found the flat brown pin oak leaves and "swiped" them with a bit of copper metalic paint and have them arranged in a pretty crock. Caramel corn looks great, thanks.
Angela you are so talented...I absolutely love your bedroom. It’s so cozy and very English cottage, if I didn’t know better I would think it was in England. Don’t downplay yourself, you have such a knack for decor. Your home is so soothing and warm. Your boys are precious...many blessings to your family. Love the coffee and popcorn recipe. Thank you 🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁
I don't decorate my bedroom for fall but I do decorate it for Christmas. I change the bedding to a black plaid that I bought last year at Pottery Barn, I have a 8ft Balsam Hill tree that I put into our room, I use plaid glass balls on it and have the tree lit on a timer so it turns off about an hour after we fall asleep and it turns on about an hour before we wake up and I we leave it lit all day long. I also have a wreath on our double doors of the bedroom. I change out our chairs throw cushions to red velvet Christmas ones and I also add one red velvet pillow on our bed to add to the other 6 we have on there. I also change out my throw to a red one at the end of our bed. We absolutely love having a tree in our room. Your room looks great and I really like the foliage in the white pitcher, it looks more complete. I can't wait to see your room for Christmas. We have our room decorated so far. I slowly work my way from room to room for the holidays. Canadians have our Thanksgiving in October so were lucky to have November and December to focus on the Christmas Season. Because it really is a season, it's not just a day. Embrace the whole season. Take care :) PS. I had to hold my breath while your hubby was putting up that basket... OMG that was scary!!!
It looks SO lovely! ??.You’ve probably shared this before, but I haven’t found it: what is the paint color & brand for your tan-ish part walls (not sure what to call those accent)? I’m looking to make some changes and I think that color might be perfect for my house.
Your home is always so cozy I love it. Your boys are adorable outside playing in the leaves. The popcorn looks delicious!! Your husband is great to always help out.
You've got a really good natured husband! He also did make me nervous standing up there like that without a ladder. The caramel corn looked really good! Your bedroom looks very cozy as is the rest of your house. Blessings!
Caramel corn sounds yummy. If you don’t have a large roaster, you can buy a large aluminum turkey roaster at Dollar Tree and it will work just as well.
Your home is so fresh and pretty. I love the little touches and all that you share with us. The Carmel corn looks delicious! Your boys are adorable and the leaves are beautiful. Have a wonderful weekend with your family.
Andrea… good luck trying to find bedding. I’ve been trying to find the “right” green for over a year. Home Depot carries a cord cover that’s paintable, less conspicuous. p.s. Your boys are beautiful. Don’t blink, before you know it they’re grown. ☺️
Andrea the Sweet Annie looks beautiful on the back wall!! Your husband is so funny. What a sweetheart 😊 The boys playing in the leaves! What sweethearts they are ❤. The baby is looking more like Mike, I think. Thank you for recipes. Want to make some! Hug’s for all ❤
We just moved to Higgins Lake and I dream of having a beautiful "Up North" home like you have someday. You give great motivation and inspiration. Thank you for sharing your lovely work and God bless you and your family!
What a sweet video, Andrea, I love your pretty bedroom. The last part with your husband doing the boy thing, climbing walls, made me laugh, it reminded me so much of my son.
Spiderman to the decorating rescue!! It looks beautiful and I'm going to give your carmel a try this weekend! Your little ones are so adorable! Have a great week and enjoy this beautiful autumn weather!
Thanks for sharing your pretty home, and life, with us! An idea I've used to help camouflage a cord along a wall is to wrap the cord in washi tape the same color as the wall.
Looks great!! I have my trees up!! Never too early for me!! Since 1987 I have done an early Christmas, then had a B&B in Hillsdale, Mi., so of course I wanted my fall guests to fell the Christmas Spirit!!! Yes, some people think I'm crazy, but most are used to it by now, and since I'm now almost 75, I couldn't do all the work for just 4 weeks!!! Your home is amazing and that popcorn, I can actually smell it!!! Enjoy sweet Andrea!!! Your boys are just so amazing!!!
Lol... The clip of your husband was so funny! Something my husband would do too! Such a beautiful clip of your boys playing in the Fall leaves. Definitely going to try the caramel corn recipe. Your bedroom is so beautiful and cozy. Happy Fall y'all.
I like the flowers in the pitcher in the bedroom! The basket looks great there in the long wall. Whau! Your husband is young and agile to climb up there and jump down! So cute to see the kids playing with the fall leaves!
I remember playing in Fall leaves! The coffee drink...definitely trying tomorrow. Your bedroom is so cozy. I'm a green fan, but it has to be the right shade. Mixing in textures and creamy whites/subtle tans maybe. Hubby hanging the florals is hysterical. I would not have refrained from butting in on that position. Pun intended. 😁😆😉
Thank you for sharing your beautiful home and family. You are the sweetest lady and yr home is perfect. So I have been making caramel corn for years. If I can give you a helpful tip … I put my popcorn in a shopping bag . You know the brown paper bags from the grocery store and pour the caramel over all at once and shake the heck out of the bag. It covers ever single kernel and no mess. It works great every time ❤
Hello darling! I absolutely love love love your home. A couple of things about your bedroom… H&M actually have very inexpensive linen comforter and pillowcase sets… Not sheets, but they also probably sell sheets. They have a gorgeous deep green one right now! Also, yes, I would definitely do brass covers for your cords.
I can't help thinking about Christmas either. It's definitely my favorite but I host thanksgiving so I try to resist decorating until after dinner lol Christmas is just so fun
My husband has always decorated for Christmas starting Nov 1st. I have finally convinced him that I was to enjoy each season and I don’t want to eat thanksgiving dinner with Christmas decor everywhere 😂 I love it so much too but I feel like everyone is rushing through each season and I want to start enjoying the present.
I can't wait to try your recipe for the caramel popcorn, it looks so yummy. Also, I loved how your basket turned out with the beautiful dried fall flowers.
This popcorn recipe looks delightful. Great tip on using a roasting pan. I will be making this throughout the holiday season. Thank you for sharing your family recipes with us. :)
I am not much of a coffee drinker but your recipe sounds good and the caramel popcorn looks delicious. The basket in the hallway looks great but it was a little scary watching your husband balance on those small boards. My 62 year old husband does crazy things like that too. Thanks for sharing 🍁🧡🍁
Hi Andrea! I will! I just subscribed to your website!! You make me feel so warm and cozy!!! I am happy to see another strong, creative, beautiful woman that inspires me every day! Thank you my darling ❤
Hello Andrea, greetings from Switzerland! I’ve been following you for a while now and I truly enjoy your videos and reading your blog! Regarding the power cords in your bedroom, what about covering them in silk? You could gather it around the cord for a romantic, vintage look. CollectionsByDesign in Louisiana sells them out of their Etsy store. Also, I just made your caramel popcorn and it came out amazing! Would it be ok if I added your recipe to my blog? I would of course link it to your video. Many thanks and happy Fall 🍁
OMG, Mike I'm worried for you!! LOL Guess you have to be young! Such a cute video, Andrea! The basket does look good there now that I've recovered from almost having. a heart attack! Mike did a good job! Tee hee! The caramel corn looked great! Not to early to think about Christmas! Those of us who decorate a lot have to start now to get it all done...only about 7 weeks away. I will start decorating the perimeter rooms but the main living space I'll wait til the day after Thanksgiving. I'm focused on picking out new decor, getting Christmas shopping done and then the race begins! But it is exciting! I love giving presents and doing all the decorating! 🧡
I just love your home! It’s gorgeous. I do decorate my bedroom but it’s minimal….stems in a crock or basket and a few white pumpkins. I do have warmer bedding already but I use it year around lol. I can’t wait to try the treats, yummy!!
Maybe you could try brown and cream for your fall pillows on the bed. Like a linen color perhaps with the darker tone of the beams in the pattern? A maple spiced latte bedroom-- haha! ☺ If you wanted to add color, a touch of burgundy would be pretty, or green as you have done. It always looks pretty and relaxing just as you have it.
The dried stems are really pretty where you hung them in your stairwell. If you want to help preserve dried flowers, take them outside and spray hair spray on them!! Sounds strange, but it works!! A suggestion for your bedroom -- I love them stems in the pitcher next to the bed. I wonder if you found pillowcases for your bed in the soft green or muted peach color to create the Fall look you are going for? Soft green could actually transition well into Christmas, so you could get two seasons out of them!! I'm trying to simply, so I don't do a lot for the seasons in the bedroom any longer. A throw, a few Fall flowers, and a candle is about the extent of it. In my kitchen, living room, family room, mudroom and entry porch is where I focus most of my efforts to decorate for the season. The popcorn looks yummy!!
Nice shot Mike! You are a good hubby! I loved this video. The coffee drink and carmel popcorn. This reminds me of my moms recipe. I haven't made it in years!
Love your bedroom. I think the few touches you mentioned to cozy it up will be perfect. Your husband is obviously very fit, but that little Spiderman maneuver made me a bit nervous!
Andrea your home is so pretty I love the beams that your husband added to the ceilings ,oh my goodness so pretty, and it screams English cottage which is a favorite of mine as well. I about died laughing when your husband was standing on the wall trim when hanging the basket,I think there is nothing that this sweet man would not do for you. I am definitely gonna try the Carmel corn recipe, I love the idea of using honey and adding a sprinkle of salt, yummy . Thanks for sharing, enjoyed the variety of todays video and with a sprinkle of comedy at the end, loved it. Bless your weekend. 🍁🍂🍂
Andrea, really enjoyed this video love your home . Your whole fami.y is adorable!! The flooring in your basement looks sooo nice. Have a wonderful day.
I loved your video. The popcorn looks so yummy. I just love your home so much. I am curios how you painted the tall ceiling about the basement steps. We have the same steps with the high ceiling. Thanks in advance for your help. We really can't afford to hire someone. Oh my goodnes, I just saw the very end with your hubby climbing on the wall...I would have said the same thing to him that you did!!!
Great content! Love the spoons, the recipe , the dried herb arrangement ( that spot was calling for that basket with those herbs)and the no nonsense fall bedroom decor💖
LOVED this informal -type video. We found the flat brown pin oak leaves and "swiped" them with a bit of copper metalic paint and have them arranged in a pretty crock. Caramel corn looks great, thanks.
Thank you!! 😊

Isaiah and the boys in the fall leaves-oh my gosh-couldn’t be cuter! As always, I love your videos, Andrea!
Thank you so much!! 😊
I like the height of your basket. Your house is absolutely charming...
I just LOVE the green color of your cabinets in the kitchen!!
I don't decorate my bedroom for fall but I do decorate it for Christmas. That nail will be the perfect height for a Christmas wreath. 😁 He was thinking ahead. 👍
A green bedspread would be nice. If you could get the right color to carry it through Christmas
Love the basket there and him jumping Ma’am 🤦🏻♀️ I probably would have screamed lol
It looks SO lovely! ??.You’ve probably shared this before, but I haven’t found it: what is the paint color & brand for your tan-ish part walls (not sure what to call those accent)? I’m looking to make some changes and I think that color might be perfect for my house.
Great video!!@ love Carmel corn! Thanks for sharing 👍 😊.... your home is beautiful!!!
Where to start. Love the teak utensils, cosy inviting bedroom and the dried branches look great.
The bedroom is so serene and inviting. The small touches make everything warm and cozy!!
God bless the men who make us happy!!! ❤
Your home is always so cozy I love it. Your boys are adorable outside playing in the leaves. The popcorn looks delicious!! Your husband is great to always help out.
I'm impressed with your husband's agility! Not scary at all when you know your limits.
Your home is beautiful! Can't wait to try the popcorn!
Yes, great idea! 😀
I always use a roasting pan when I make caramel corn. Great video.
Your home is so fresh and pretty. I love the little touches and all that you share with us. The Carmel corn looks delicious! Your boys are adorable and the leaves are beautiful. Have a wonderful weekend with your family.
Aww thank you so much!! So glad you enjoyed it! 😊
I don't go all out in decorating in the bedroom but started putting a few touches around the room this year. Love it!
The popcorn looks amazing, your bedroom is so cozy and beautiful and how sweet are those kids and sweet hubby ..
I love your beautiful & peaceful home. It's so serene 🙌🥰
Aww you're sweet, thank you so much!! 😊
The leaves + the boys/baby is adorable. 🍂🤎🍂
A couple of fallish pillows would work. Some soft greens etc., and they could work for Christmas also. I know, fallish isn’t a word.
Andrea… good luck trying to find bedding. I’ve been trying to find the “right” green for over a year. Home Depot carries a cord cover that’s paintable, less conspicuous. p.s. Your boys are beautiful. Don’t blink, before you know it they’re grown. ☺️
I have always used a disposable aluminum turkey pan for the benefit you don’t even have to wash it after making the popcorn!😊
Omg!! I saw him standing on the wall!!😳 GET A LADDER!! Crazy! 😂 tha popcorn looks delicious!
Paint the lamp cords the same color as the walls. They will blend right in.
I’ve been using almost that same original recipe for 50 years. I add a jar of peanuts to it before pouring on the caramel sauce. It’s so good!
Bedding the color of those leaves would be lovely
Andrea the Sweet Annie looks beautiful on the back wall!! Your husband is so funny. What a sweetheart 😊
The boys playing in the leaves! What sweethearts they are ❤. The baby is looking more like Mike, I think. Thank you for recipes. Want to make some! Hug’s for all ❤
Green bedding would be so beautiful!
The green of those leaves would be lovely bedding addition. Yes I decorate my entire house for Fall.
I love your hair! Its so warm and perfect for Autumn! 🍂🍁🧡
Aww thank you so much!! 😊
Everything looks beautiful in your home! Now I want to make some caramel corn! 😋
Thank you!! Hope you get to make some caramel corn! 😉😄

Sweet Annie is one of my favorites

Yes, I love where you moved the basket w dried flowers !
Love the bedroom but much preferred it where you had the bed before, Id get kinda claustrophobic where it is
Thank you for sharing your beautiful home and family. You are the sweetest lady and yr home is perfect.
So I have been making caramel corn for years. If I can give you a helpful tip … I put my popcorn in a shopping bag . You know the brown paper bags from the grocery store and pour the caramel over all at once and shake the heck out of the bag.

I'm pretty sure you can buy paintable cord covers. Then they would blend with your wall color.
I love your kitty!
Everything looks perfect! Mike's a ninja warrior !!! Lol!
This popcorn recipe looks delightful. Great tip on using a roasting pan. I will be making this throughout the holiday season. Thank you for sharing your family recipes with us. :)

I use the plastic cord covers that stick on the wall. Then you paint them the same color as the wall.
Love the flowers in the pitcher and the hanging basket is perfect. Caramel corn looks so yummy.
Thank you for this cute video, except you made me hungry! Love the way you have your bedroom and I loved that herb made a beautiful bouquet.

Love your video.
You inspire me!! 🌻😍 Thank you for the recommendation for those amazing utensils!! Just ordered them!! You have a gorgeous home!!
You could swap your curtains to a heavier, beautiful fabric like velvet.
“I think you hung it too high.” 😂 I about spit my coffee out! I love it! I can’t wait to try the caramel corn recipe…thank you for sharing!!
