When you hold left button as hulk buster, you hop out of it and the heroic meter for it will only be depleted as long as you use it. Very useful for breaking the glass doors

The dash trick is freaking amazing! I'm using darkhold iron man. Where you can refresh your abilities and recycle dark hold by using hulkbuster.. so unlimited hulkbuster and abilities... i can rain missles over and over 🤣 now that you showed me this.. i can now rain missles even outside of hulkbuster 💀💀

Some nice tips. My rotation so far for bosses with rockets was to load up all the homing missiles in the boss and then directly fire 2 rockets afterwards. While you are marking the homing missiles your intrinsic meter recharges and I'm pretty sure the follow-up rocket that lands when the homing missiles explode, always crits. Combine that with burst elements like plasma and the damage is insane, while you never run out of intrinsic. Also: You underestimate lasers. For flying (not hovering) and clearing turrets they are great and combined with the dive they make for very nice aoe for cleaning up crowds. But most importantly the high stun damage pretty much garantuees takedowns, hence health and heroic regen.
Lasers aren't bad at all! Rocket spam with this build is just super efficient when grinding hives. Exploit damage is super important so its hard to mix and match when you can only get status on one weapon at a time you know? But I definitely hear you, lasers are legit.
After seeing this (a bit late) I have the same build. I love the idea of the homing rockets with the two follow ups. Need to try that one. Cheers guys.
There is an even faster rocket spam that you can do. Hold aim and spam the emote button and the shoot button at the same time. ( Only works on foot because you can’t emote in mid air)

Not sure how I made that mistake XD totally my fault!
Now I'm only at the beginning of the video but, if you take the Book artifact (forget the name but it resets heroics at the cost of willpower) and boost it three levels, you can use your heroics, then your Hulkbuster which heals you (and, for some reason, ends the cooldown for the artifact as well) and rinse and repeat! They'll surely patch this but it's crazy 👌
@@Soloplayerggz The hulkbuster is only to get your health back and remove the cooldown. The beauty of the build is that support heroic which you can spam. Basically in order: use heroics (that support ability clears entire rooms), use Hulkbuster to end the cooldown, spam missile barrages with it, get out of hulkbuster after spamming said missiles, pop the artifact, and use that support ability again. You won't regret it. This is pretty broken too but not quite as bad 👌😅

If you play on challenge 1 with a maxed out character, you'll see that you are VERY powerful if built correctly. And going by their movie counterparts to justify your point is just dumb...Thor and Hulk would be invincible and Widow would get one tapped by exo suit enemies and the game would have zero balance and it would make many characters useless.

I used to be a mother shoot 10 missiles per second while supercharging off his barier using cancel animations. They broke every exploit I used but I've got some good gear from it all.
I just learned the rocket build yesterday but what you just showed with the energy barrier over charge mode is insane. I can't believe this has been overlooked. Thank you so very much for showing me that trick.

I did find a purple though that had that with chance of explosion as a second stat. Chances of finding both on one piece of legendary gear are probably very slim.

Hey so perks like increased crit% damage on gloves while overcharged don't work the way the description implies. For Black widow 135% increased crit damage with shadow ops attacks, instead of adding 135% crit damage to whatever you have, it will multiply it by 135%. So if you have 200% crit damage it will go up to 270% when you overcharge. The way it works with Iron man seems like is not intentional but it is even worse. 135% crit damage will actually add 35% to whatever you have. So at 200% crit damage you get 235% when overcharged. Haven't tested this with other characters, but I expect the results to be as inconsistent.
Found a piece that ups crit damage of all weapons by 135% no overcharge required. Wouldn't that technically be a more useful option for when they nerf this encounter?
Absolutely I've got one of those as well! Whatever one you can get with the higher % modifier AND other perks/stats as well. In this case my overcharged one was better than the one you described in every way (better stats / perks).
there is a better crit damage perk for Iron Mans first gear slot, its just a straight 116.3% crit damage boost to all weapons, no need to be overcharged.
Dude I'm like level 17 and don't even have arc accelerator but I do have energy barrier so I just made it and jumped and spammed my parry and it still over charged me , that's definitely not broken what's so ever and I will be maining iron man till it's fixed, boy I'm subscribing this content is crazy as fuck

My Kamala build is centered around her Heroic Support lol and you would get -15% dmg +20% dmg +35% chance to crit with a big heal over time every few seconds infinitely.
Damn I love this game. I’m having a ball finding and building Black Widow, then there’s videos out there like this that me me look forward to building Iron Man and the others. Even if they change things I’ll still be building with new characters and new strengths. I’ll just have to work around it to survive. This is too much fun for me.

Bruh! So here I am finally trying to knockout the campaign, 30 minutes in I get bug on the mission “Hello Old Friend” can’t talk to Bruce or access the war table. Tried so many different tricks to fix it but nope, guess I won’t ever get those major artifacts
It's absolutely a bug. Energy pulse is Iron Mans parry. The mastery allows you to generate energy off of parrying an enemy attack, not parrying your own shield barrier. Your parry should not be activating unless you're being attacked. Hope that makes sense to you. Cheers!
I’ve been doing this since the game first game out surprisingly haha I was power 131 by the time I reached level 50 with Ironman. Ultimate repulsors (all weapons are pym tech & 135% critical on all weapons) + superior mark XIII chest piece (Jarvis barrier, 200% willpower regen when overcharged) lightweight pulse gauntlets( gamma overcharged for light melee attacks & signature attacks & 10% increased rate of fire for all weapons. All legendary gear. Plus the energy pulse trick & it’s perks mixed with repulsor specific & intrinsic reduction mastery settings and to top it off.. tactigon activation (which has stack on effect to enemies with elemental damage already applied! and the perks that come with using all pym tech weapons for range makes IRONMAN more OP than anything I’ve seen on the net so far 🤭🤯
Ahhhhhh! Makes sense now! Haha I always felt like it was OP. But it never stopped me from spamming energy pulse whilst hovering in between the energy barrier every time my intrinsic was low. Haha Ironman is KING of vault enemy swarms and big bosses. He just melts them🙌🏽

Thanks for the support! As long as your might and your proficiency are your highest stats you're in a good spot! Just keep trying to increase those. Intensity can also be helpful for the extra stun damage (this allows you to put people into takedown mode easier.) Keep it up and let me know if you have any other questions!
Lasers are ok but in my opinion rockets offer more damage and are safer at the moment. Stopping to channel the laser from range is dangerous (not bad on single target) and getting in close as IM is a bit on the dangerous side for this build. I was running a laser build beforehand though, might test it some more later. They're definitely good!
@@Soloplayerggz What do you need to get in close for though? Not playing with keyboard and mouse? This game plays so much better with m/kb. I've been playing ranged cap but what I did play of iron man, lasers were the way to go for the single target dmg because of the tick rate and escalating damage. It just seems to me that having more crit benefits rockets the least because they have the slowest rate of fire even with the animation canceling.

And could you tell us or make a video about how to farm 5 star loot the best way? I need the whole day yesterday to equip my black widow from 50 to 130 the day before yesterday i need only few hours with iron man. Of course it can be bad luck but iam not sure i think they reduce it. I used the chest method on the forest vault mission.

This requires a exploit that will definitely be patched and it looks so boring to play. Charge up overdrive shoot rockets and repeat. In would have much preferred a build that's fun to play over just massive damage. Just to clarify I tried this and it is boring but it does work.

Am i the only one that thinks it's not fun to spam around rockets? I would like to have a viable repulsor build. Or maybe i just can't play him right. I am a huge Iron Man fan but in this game i can't get used to him. I have a lot more fun with Caps range build than with Iron Man, and thus should show that there is something wrong...

Adam D it's called Modular Mark VII Shielding, I believe it drops off Elite Hives (6 stages) as a mission reward.

Good exploit...one thing though...hovering does NOT count as flying for that 15% extra dmg from mastery.

Plus the energy pulse trick & it’s perks mixed with repulsor specific & intrinsic reduction mastery settings and to top it off.. tactigon activation (which has stack on effect to enemies with elemental damage already applied! and the perks that come with using all pym tech weapons for range makes IRONMAN more OP than anything I’ve seen on the net so far 🤭🤯
Ahhhhhh! Makes sense now! Haha I always felt like it was OP. But it never stopped me from spamming energy pulse whilst hovering in between the energy barrier every time my intrinsic was low. Haha Ironman is KING of vault enemy swarms and big bosses. He just melts them🙌🏽
@@APMo2 FACTS his damage is huge lol it's weird because unibeam starts off feeling super weak but once you're geared omega beam absolutely melts entire rooms XD

I dont actually really ever use the l2 to aim I just use triangle and aim my iron man at someone and it shoots at them freely

Awesome build man great video when playing iron man have you found any decent melee builds no offense what so ever but I like having a decent mixture of range into melee into range
I haven't really looked into one but I can take a look. I think using signature modifiers with his slam could potentially be really powerful.
Adam D yeah that’d be pretty sick or possibly making a laser build I feel like once this strat gets fixed the lasers may be the new go to for a good mix of single target to aoe
@@saintsentry6945 lasers are REALLY good. I was actually running a laser build before switching to this one and with the right gear pieces i think lasers could be crazy strong as well.

Thanks for the support! As long as your might and your proficiency are your highest stats you're in a good spot! Just keep trying to increase those. Intensity can also be helpful for the extra stun damage (this allows you to put people into takedown mode easier.)

Wouldn't lasers be better with all that crit? More ticks more crits.
Lasers are ok but in my opinion rockets offer more damage and are safer at the moment. Stopping to channel the laser from range is dangerous (not bad on single target) and getting in close as IM is a bit on the dangerous side for this build.
I was running a laser build beforehand though, might test it some more later. They're definitely good!
@@Soloplayerggz What do you need to get in close for though? Not playing with keyboard and mouse? This game plays so much better with m/kb. I've been playing ranged cap but what I did play of iron man, lasers were the way to go for the single target dmg because of the tick rate and escalating damage. It just seems to me that having more crit benefits rockets the least because they have the slowest rate of fire even with the animation canceling.

@@Soloplayerggz i think they reduce the power lvl loot from chests. But iam not sure. Would be awesome if you could check it. And could you tell us or make a video about how to farm 5 star loot the best way? I need the whole day yesterday to equip my black widow from 50 to 130 the day before yesterday i need only few hours with iron man. Of course it can be bad luck but iam not sure i think they reduce it. I used the chest method on the forest vault mission.
imo 15% Crit Dmg is very negligible. With 60 Valor I have 181 Crit Dmg% 15v% will only bring it up to 196% The flat 15% ranged dmg is better stat wise

This requires a exploit that will definitely be patched and it looks so boring to play. Charge up overdrive shoot rockets and repeat. In would have much preferred a build that's fun to play over just massive damage. Just to clarify I tried this and it is boring but it does work.

Am i the only one that thinks it's not fun to spam around rockets? I would like to have a viable repulsor build. Or maybe i just can't play him right. I am a huge Iron Man fan but in this game i can't get used to him. I have a lot more fun with Caps range build than with Iron Man, and thus should show that there is something wrong...
Play however you want broski! His repulsors are just his weakest weapon in my opinion. Everything is viable though!
