Pretty awesome to see those birds decoying in like that! You got some great shots of those groups doing it perfectly! I have a few tips for hiding a boat blind for puddlers: 1. It looks like you guys used zip ties to make grass clumps. I like to use jute twine and tie it pretty tight so the grass flares outward. The clump of grass is in a star pattern. This hides really well from a top view. 2. Before you drive your boat into the grass, cut a slot the size of your boat exactly where you want to park the boat. This keeps the grass from flaring outward on the sides, which looks unnatural. If you cut it pretty close to the width of your boat, you will also have grass both in front and behind the blind that sticks straight up right next to the side of the blind which helps conceal the boat.
Another solid hunt at an amazing location!!!! We attach cattails and small willows on green landscape fencing......frames slightly angled in provides tons of overhead cover.
Where are you hunting ??? Really excellent on the table , first choice is obviously Woodies then widgeon and mallys pintail , I'll never kill another diver of any kind especially ring necked ducks they are terrible !!! Awesome video guys don't listen to negativity on here but they are obviously the Expoits
This is the best waterfowl channel on youtube. You take pride in how you hunt and it shows.
Thank you Lucas. Much appreciated
This is Great to see. Most hunting videos only show the best days or are edited to look like hunting Ducks or in general is so easy. Not every hunt is a good one. Some times you win and most times its a bust.
Elliot, I definitely feel your pain with some phragmites hunting here around Saginaw Bay. We have the same issue. Just got to be careful where you drop them but it happens and for the not calling. Joshua, it's going to happen. He always think they're going to come back around. Just remember there's always another bird around the corner coming another great video. Thank you!🎉
Great comment,,,thanks man!
We get our brush to stick on our boat blinds by using hog paneling wire fence screwed too the blind and zip-tie or weave in your brush. Lots of raffia grass and tumbleweed! Even the weariest of mallards give it up if your silhouette is broken up good enough
Thanks! I may have to try that. It’s hard to get fully hidden.
How far from Lewis and Clark? 😂🤣
Great hunt!
Your calling sounded good. The orange hat on that one guy could be your problem
Wondering how golden Boy is doing? Another great hunt Cheers from California
Hes doing great! He recently appeared on Chasing Greens channel when they went to Canada. Go check it out!
Very good as usual, you earned it but what artist sings most of your closings? Tranquil acoustic guitar work and harmony, I really like it.

Cool hunt 👍🦆
thank you!
ever thought they flared off the mojo? spinners suck sometimes.
They weren’t really flaring, after we moved the decoys it was much much better
Maybe it was that shiny ball cap 😂
What state where you hunting from
Dostum silahın markası ne?
Did they flare do to spinner?
They weren’t flaring, just not very interested
Espectacular video, saludos desde España
Coulda shot a limit of coots on the way out!!!
Bagging wild animals reminds me of the awesome scene in "Planet of the Apes" (1968), when the apes are hunting humans, "unaliving" them, hanging them up for photos. Mankind is the only predator on Earth that destroys animals for fun. And, mankind intentionally tries to take the strongest, largest, healthiest of a species (trophies) which destroys the gene pool; unlike nature that takes the weakest, lamest, sickest; thereby strengthening the gene pool. Just another reason that, when mankind is extinct, the universe will rejoice.
bagging wild animals is the healthiest and safest way to provide food on the table. People need to eat just like wild animals do. Trophy hunting can be seen as a negative and I won't argue with you there. but trying to make mankind seem like monsters for eating what our bodies need us to eat seems a little bit ignorant.
Famous Benelli click?

Don't shoot if you are not going to retrieve the birds!
Hmm, what a great piece of advice.
Where you concerned about losing your dog in big weeds like that?
No, she would never range out so far as to get lost.
Real sportsman don’t shoot ducks that will land in the phragmites. Dogs get injured in that thick stuff. Restrain dude!
Mistakes happen, Even to real spotsmen like you.
@@DuckSeason12 anyone who starts their comment with “real sportsman “is ignorant
