I have a Super40 on my Lil V6 Sonoma, improved my truck's gas mileage and the sound is much better than stock.
Hey #Rockauto are you listening? ...
Rockauto is great about 90% of the time. I ordered replacement loaded MOOG control arms, and they were the best available. What I got was two different control arms, with different range of ball joint angles. After a LOT of back and forth, I was told that each was an “acceptable replacement” for what I ordered. As an idiot, I ordered 6 top quality “Blue Streak Ignition Coils” too. What I got were 5 “Blue Streak” ignition coils and one non-“Bluestreak” same brand, but clearly different ignition coil. RockAuto AGAIN refused to replace it stating that since it had the same part number, it was an acceptable part. BOTH TIMES, I sent pictures and emails stating the very obvious differences and why I would like a replacement and Rockauto FLATLY REFUSED TO REPLACE IT. I have been using Rockauto for about 10+ years, but this last year has seen a dramatic drop in quality, and customer service.
(Edit) After research, I found out that the one ignition coil was a fake, with different ohms resistance internally and different windings. And the control arm was an Eastern European manufactured part, versus the other one that was made in America, and has an inferior ball joint. #Rockauto, you disappointed me greatly this year, and have forced me to exploring different sources for my parts from now on.
This is the problem with using websites like this if you had bought something like this Napa you could go in swap it out no questions asked. As far as rock auto is concerned they’ve already got your money so they could give two shits whether or not you actually got what you ordered! hope this is a lesson learned to you not to trust such a shit company
I've had similar problems with Parts Geek. Unfortunately this seems to be the standard in the aftermarket industry.
Yeah, their "customer service" definitely sucks balls, especially now that they did-away with any way to actually call them and get a live person.

That LSD you installed doesn't work because of the spring preload. It locks due to the side thrust generated when the spider gears attempt to rotate the side/axle gears. There are different bias ratio spider/side gear combinations available to increase or decrease the locking ratio. It would work fine and generate much less heat and parasitic drag without the springs. Just takes a little more time to setup and minimize the side gear to spider clearance. That's time the OEM manufacturers don't need to invest due to the amateur notion that the springs do all the work.
He didn't need to "get the rear breaks out of the way", ..they looked like they were gonna fall out on their own any minute now.
The only time you saw a chrome roll bar in the 90's is if you were watching a rerun of fall guy.

it always amazes me, every damn car/truck show does some sorta work on front suspension and NEVER show or even say Time for an Alignment.... like it just frackin magically happens and boom, car drives straight down the road....
I'm pretty sure anyone who works on car or even owns a car knows you need an alignment 🤦🏼♂️

You replaced the rear brakes, what about the emergency brake shoes? They were not on your parts bench. Would be nice to at least something on stuff like that, that gets overlooked.

You re used the ring and pinion... you have to check what the back lash is before removal because the gears have a pattern they are worn into. If you go setting up used gears to a new backlash “to get it to spec” your going to cause problems having the ring and pinion running in a different pattern. I’m disappointed you guys did it that way. It will cost a diy a riskier result

Long tube headers that feed in to a single pipe, and back out to fake duals? Seriously? Why do upgrades and long tubes just to choke it down to a single pipe? WHat a waste of time and money for some fake shit. Hilarious he keeps saying Flow Masters (PLURAL) WHen all we see is ONE flow Master going in. Because most normal people put 2 under a truck with true duals.
Any driving that would break a G80 would also smoke that cheap aas LSD.
G80 doesn't have clutch packs either, but he said the posi has clutches "just like the G80".
