Can I give you a tip, while the van is parked up at home, turn the front wheels towards the curb, and put the van in gear, then leave the handbrake off, it will stop it cease on, and save you money in the long run

This video was brilliant. I can now feel much happier knowing that it's not just me things like this happen to. But I have learnt to not stress at the problems as you have to deal with them and life goes on.
Doing a vlog and not bringing the cameras you know its down hill from there. But honestly it was probably the best vanlife vlog I have watched in a long time.
Hope the van is still working well. Maybe an idea is to drive the van for a few hours each week.
Looking forward to seeing more van builds.

These things are sent to test us and hopefully when all the little niggles are ironed out you'll have some fantastic trips out in Ray. Top tip from all our camping/caravanning trips, always stock your van with the little things like toothpaste, toothbrushes, shower gel, shampoo etc and restock occasionally when needed. That way you just need to pack a bag, throw it in the van and away you go, no worrying about having packed a washbag. It's almost like you double up in the van what you have in the bathroom at home, then you never have to worry about being caught out. Same deal with the kitchen, extra cutlery, plates, cups, glasses, pots and pans. Being a military person I'm always about the planning and logistics which takes the pressure off when getting ready for trips away. Sometimes you just have to spend a day just getting everything ready but that means when you're away you can relax knowing it's all sorted.

Hey 👋🏼 thanks for watching and big thanks for your tips - that’s actually a great idea! (Not that it will ever be that smooth 😁) thanks for sharing 👍🏻

When you park, up for a few months, leave the handbrake off, put it in gear, and chock the wheels, or it could happen again sprinter vans have little brake shoes inside the discs on the rear and it's a common problem for them to stick on when left for awhile hope this helps 😊

this is why we love the comments section, always learn something! Thanks so much for the help, that is actually very useful to know.
