“So maybe the simple way to live a happy and meaningful life is to find contentment and gratitude in the situation you currently are in. And finding how to respond with grace and peace when life seems to be falling apart.” Thanks for dropping that gem. Keep doing what you’re doing!
I found your channel a few days ago. I found it right when I needed it. I’m 48 and I’m just now embarking on my photography/videography story telling journey. My own anxiety and self hate has held me back for so long.
Thank you UA-cam. Thank you Andrew. I've only known you for 30 minutes and yet you're the one who just had the most impactful words of my life. More than 10 years spent on UA-cam, thousand of hours watching videos of guys from different countries and I’ve always been a spectator. You’ve make realize what is my passion, it was so evident. A French Guy lost in this 20´s
I would love to see a behind the scenes video, from idea to scripting to lightening to shooting to editing etc. A crazy amount of work went into that video! Let s hope the algorithm finds you
I actually just added " cinematic short film" to the title - not sure if I really view this one as a short film, but felt it would reach the desired audience -
It made me kind of emotional when the “let go of them all” title came up. I can’t explain it, It just really hit me. Your story telling and creativity is really inspiring
Such an amazing Video. The algorithm showed me one of your videos two days ago and now i watched nearly all of your videos. Love everything single on and feel so inspired to male my own videos.
Amazing Andrew!! This video filled me with a sense of calmness. A nostalgia, a type of catharsis, and also a sense of inspiration. Keep it up, it’s beautiful!
I had to watch the video twice, the first time I almost didn't listen because I was so focused on your editing style, composition, colors, selected angles... Loved the cuts before finishing a sentence, really kept me on the hook. Overall I really really liked your video and I'm looking forward to more! The video looks like a lot of work, how long did it take you to film and edit it? In terms of content, I like your worldview/philosophy and comparisons from nature, but unfortunately I can only partly agree with them. I believe that the question of "meaning of one's life/finding happiness" is automatically linked to the following questions: Who Am I? Where do I come from? Where Am I Going? Self-given meaning rarely lasts a lifetime and is subjective, not objective. What came before me and what comes after me determines whether I have dedicated my life to the right meaning. Just my two cents : ) Greetings from Germany
Loved every second of this from start to finish. You are really killing it with this immense gift of yours. Love seeing how far you've come and how you express your personal style. The messages you put out into the world are powerful, so thanks for blessing us with them.
This is too beautiful and inspiring. I can’t believe it when I saw that you’re not at a hundred thousand subs. You deserve it. The effort and passion that goes through this is super obvious. It made my heart warm.
Wow this is some of the most dense editing / filmography I’ve ever seen. It’s like you did the snappy editing people do for the first ten seconds of their videos for the entire video. Well done man.
wow! I'm so glad YT recommended me this channel, you're going to blow up. Great message, great composition, great pacing, great audio. I look forward to seeing more videos from you [subbed =)]. I've noticed I've been much happier realizing "this is something I'm choosing", but the anxiety of leaving the things you know does get to me. Step 7 is hard but key.
omg what the hell did i just watch, this was incredible it, must have taken ages to finish. Also the text message and talking cut off idea was so creative, I give this video a solid 10000000/10 ;oooooo
ahaha wow - I love comments like this :) thank you. for sure doesn't have as many views as id like but its all worth it when people like yourself share such encouraging words
oh don't worry at this point I keep coming back to your videos everyday to figure out how exactly you make the sound design, colour grading, and editing look so cool that I am pretty sure soon the algorithm is gonna be like ok fine I'm gonna push it out to people's feeds hahah. p.s. can't for the editing series to come out :)))))))))))) @@AndrewPaul1
Woahhhh... that was incredible. I loved the metaphor about needing both rain and sunshine to grow.. made me think of that dolly parton quote ahah. What a video mate - you're something special.
I love this video so much. i can tell gawx inspires you but you made the art style your own. the interruptions of the scenes is wicked smart. one of the best videos i've seen all year.
Wow, before watching this video, I initially thought it was created by a top-notch cinematic creator on UA-cam. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the low view count and subscriber numbers. I too aspire to become a video editor and am at the very initial stages of learning. Your editing skills are truly commendable, and I would appreciate any guidance or tips you could provide as I embark on this journey. Keep up the great work!💖
thank you for the kind words :) excited to share this journey with you! I plan to release an hour long video course in the next month or two how I make videos
@AndrewPaul1 In the realm of pixels and frames you weave, A tapestry of visions, make believe. Your skills, a beacon, for those yet to soar, Guidance in your craft, a treasure to explore. Eagerly awaiting the course you'll unfold, To learn from a master, stories untold.
Very, very good videos, I watched 5 of them in one sitting! I can't believe this level of creation has less than 5000 views! I think it should be more than X100! I noticed several of your videos, there are zoom lenses, APSC lenses, and manual zoom lenses. What are their models and specs, please? Looking forward to your reply! Thank you very much!
what's your settings on grain? film grain? I'm curious also, what's your whole settings it looks really crisp.. also love this video.. thanks for the advice! Keep it up
Thank you man I appreciate it. My grain process has been a long road - what I find works best is to not just do a one setting fits all - with tighter shots more grain works in your favor - in wider shots 24m - 35m less grain and smaller is best as it can start to just make the video look like bad quality.
Hey man! I’m going to be creating a members only section on my channel, here I’ll do unedited breakdowns of video ideas, videos themselves, grading and more
Best vid Ive seen in a minute! Keep at it!
Wow, thanks - excited to share the next one with you.
Wow really helped me bro
U r a real inspiration
Duddeeee!!! another absolute crusher. The buzzes of the phone at the EXACT time the viewer's brain is drifting... genius. Keep crushing!!
🤝🤝 thank you katelyn!!
"Happiest people are the ones who have mastered the art of letting it go" that was so accurate !!
Isn’t that wild? The very thing that gives you the most happiness equally has the power to bring you the lowest

How do you move forward if one is to be content and happy in their current situation? 🤔
This is amazing
Please what sound instrumental did you use on 4:56 letting go chapter
Keep it up papi
do you use Dehancer or Cineprint for the film emulation ?
I haven’t tried dehancer yet, I would like to give it a go with the grain
what's your settings on grain? film grain? I'm curious also, what's your whole settings it looks really crisp.. also love this video.. thanks for the advice! Keep it up

I do yea @@JohnLFilm
okay cool thanks man! your colorgrade is insane hoping to see your process on that in the future
Could you do a tutorial on how you grade your footage?

Hey, do you export the final master in Premiere or DaVinci? I've heard that exporting in DaVinci results in much less UA-cam compression?
Isn’t California like permanently sunny
Currently raining
How do they keep getting better??
Honestly idk
frames shots texts even the music used : one name gawx
Hey, do you export the final master in Premiere or DaVinci? I've heard that exporting in DaVinci results in much less UA-cam compression
