I didn't get the point of having a shoe compartment versus separate shoe compartment in a duffel bag when you can easily carry shoes in the same compartment where you gonna put your clothes or some stuff by covering the shoes with waterproof or dust proof little thing, which you can hang it out somewhere else when you're not using it in the bag like the separate compartment for the shoe is gonna take same area as without that thing when putting your shoes on WITH CLEANLINESS TO THE TOP & CLEAN

ease of access comes to mind. It's easier if you can just put the shoes from the outside. Cleaning is also easy, you just have to pull the inside out and you can access it easily for cleaning. I think I will try to make this bag. Like it really much.
