I KNEW GAB WOULD ONLY BE ABLE TO GET THE OTHER ENDING. The second ending revealed a whole another section of the game love the way she explained it too!
For Gab! This is the Japanese pronunciation for "排水口" in 46:41. It's "はいすいこう (hai-sui-kou)" in one word, and it means "overflow" in English. I hope this helps!
I've been waiting for some more Chilla action. I love that their approach to horror is "You work in customer service, let the terror commence!" Freaking pumped, your plays of these are the best!
When they finally move on to customer support for something technical it'll be a 2 hour game and at the end you realise that all the horror was just the customers 😋
I'm just sitting here knitting some fingerless gloves for myself and enjoying the playthrough and HOLY CRAP the sauna jumpscare nearly made me drop a stitch XD
I love the fact that gab is so polyglot in this episode, speaking english, reading and translating japanese while giving cultural lessons, and sneaking in some dutch. I love this channel
Gab: "See? Don't trust short people. You can't trust them." Me, a 4'11" (~ 149 cm) person: *nods* Can confirm. Jokes aside - happy Monday, Gab and friends! I'm always fascinated by Chilla's Art games. They always have an uncomfortable air/tone to them (perfect for the horror aspect) and as someone who took Japanese classes in elementary and high school, I enjoy seeing how much I can remember (in terms of writing systems). Cheers to a wonderful week ahead. Stay cozy and warm!
Came to Gabs channel to see if I could find an indie horror that I maybe missed or didn’t remember (I’ve watched pretty much the entire playlist) and half way through looking another one drops, and a chilla game nonetheless!!! Perfect timing as always, I love all her playthroughs but have been itching for more horror! and her background in Japanese makes these chillas games that much better. Let’s gooooo
I've watched ManlyBadassHero and John Wolfe play this game and now seeing you play it, I'm SO happy you explained the ending via looking up Ubume and talking with your chat about it. It now makes so much more sense! This was lovely to watch v/w/v
Yeah Manly and Gab are really entertaining to watch and they tend to play games I'd never personally play either because it's horror and I'm not brave enough or it's a game I'd find boring to play or isn't on Xbox 😅
When I stayed in Japan for a month, it was more of a giant bathhouse tour than a Japan trip honestly LOL I would eat all day and then end it with a different bathhouse (sometimes the same). I love onsens! tbh being nakey in public was the most liberating thing I've ever experienced being from Canada and all
Yayyyyy!! I randomly scrolled through a bunch of playthroughs of this game this morning and was literally like "huh, I wonder if Gab will end up playing this" and then boom. Like clockwork. Love these types of games, especially your playthroughs.
I would love to learn the Japanese language but even if I don't know what people are saying I still enjoy listening to people speak it. Evelyn is amazing at it 😎
One of my fondest memories is of hiking near Kyoto, a path between Kibune and Kurama, stopping at the Kurama Onsen and relaxing my tired body in the outdoor bath watching the rain fall on the cedars in the narrow valley in which the bath is nestled. So serene and tranquil. I truly love watching your japanese horror videos...feels like home.
Hey Evelien, I doubt you’ll read this, but i just wanted to leave a comment letting you know how much your channel has helped me recently. I went through a pretty traumatic breakup almost 2 years ago, and the only way I’ve been able to sleep is with youtube playing in the background so i feel less alone. Your videos have truly been a bright light in my dreary days. Thank you for making content and for being as lovely as you are. Hearing your voice makes me feel like i have a friend looking out for me. Wishing you, Sean, and BB nothing but the best 💕 thank you for helping me, even if you didn’t realize you were doing it. (also, if you see this, please give BB a pat on the head from me)
When Gab replayed for the second ending, I still jumped at the ghost in the apartment even though I knew it was coming! This game is super terrifying and intense.
Happy Monday, Gabs ❤ This was definitely more scary than the last Chillasart game! Also, it’s always nice to hear about your stories from when you lived in Japan!
Haven't heard of Ubume before either, I'm ever glad to increase my yokai knowledge. Also, I went to look into it as well (just to see if I could find any reason why the heck would anyone want to summon/create such yokai intentionally), and remember that ghost lady you hate from Fatal Frame 2, the one who comes out from a box? According to the wiki, she's probably inspired by a Ubume (and Sadako), since she died hiding in the box with her baby son. Anyways, another great game, tho it's a shame that I'll now be plagued with the question of why the heck would someone do that.
Awe I love that Sean brought you coffee 💖 you guys are so cute! I also always love hearing you speak in Japanese! So nice, even though the game is creepy af 😂 I would nope outta there SO fast 🤣
Jesus Christ I can’t get enough of Evelien stories from Japan 🇯🇵 It’s always so interesting and cozy, I’m ready to sit down, take a hot drink and listen to it like a podcast 😊
YAY i’ve been waiting for your upload with this game!! I’ve watched my brother played it first hand and i gotta say, i’m a tad bit confused with the story line. Overall, it is indeed a psychological horror game because it really made both my bro and i scared af in the middle of playing the game. imo, it’s even scarier than the closing shift, night delivery and the convenience store. Anyway, Thank you for always uploading your gameplays that i’ve always been looking forward to. Sending you lots of love gab!!! 🤍

My Japanese friend said that in America you have ice cream trucks and in Japan we have sweet potato trucks. Lol She even said they had a humorous traditional jingle with it.
The scariest thing about this one was the background kinda screeching noise outside - I got distracted for a moment and when I heard it I thought it was actually my pc, like SSD or cooler finally giving up. Haven't been this terrified in a while
The landlord sneaking up on the sibling scared the crap out of me 😭 Actually made me flinch and scream... you'd think despite him doing it once already it wouldn't get me

OMG i missed Gab’s japanese reading skills and culture lessons 💛

LMAO 10:42 gab going “I FUCKING LOVE CLEANING” has me on the floor
ROFL
That and the camera lens BONK at 4:46 cracked me up. Idk who Gab’s editor is, but they’re hilarious together and a really good match.

Gotta love a game that opens with a cutscene of a lone man in darkness trying to flog a rat to death.
A rat?
I died when Sean walked in. I thought you were legit in danger for a second.
Then it was just cute. I love you guys awh 💕🥹
The guy walking up to the sister scared me WAY more than the actual jump scares…😅
Watching gab playing chillas games will always be my fav to watch
