    Hub Motor wheels are typically able to be replaced by unscrewing the shell and replacing it with another. (there are magnets built into the interior of the wheel but it can be replaced, though are more expensive than standard wheels) You do not, however, need to replace the entirity of the hub motor. here's a link to a video on how to replace the shell . ua-cam.com/video/NtqV9EVq8D4/v-deo.html

      Ah, it kinda depends on which hub motor design...
      Anything from the Meepo V3 generation had the wheel sleeve glued on,
      and likewise, magnets glued to the inside like your linked video shows.
      Later hub motor designs like the Meepo V4S and Backfire Hobbywing ones became more common;
      they're far easier to swap the hub motor wheel sleeves on them!
